Chips & Dairy Fast Food

This Canadian Chinese food is top shelf.
When I lived downtown, Oriental House was my favourite. Moved to south Ottawa and was really impressed with C&D.
Ordered several times, and a large order on Christmas Eve for 6 people.
Right on time and they didn’t miss a thing…
Sweet and Sour sauce is outstanding!
HG ribs, too…
Heck…it’s all great!

Poutine tasted like garbage. Horrible fake cheese curds that melt, soggy fries and just overall horrible taste. Last time coming to chips&dairy

Probably serves the best Chinese-Canadian style food in the Ottawa area. The General Tso's chicken is a standout.

The curds are no longer St. Albert (whatever the new stuff is, it is gross), the garlic spare ribs have been undercooked and cheeeeeewy twice in a row, and the chow mein noodles are.well, kinda hard now. Not properly crispy, but hard like uncooked pasta.

One star until they fix it, and I'm not sure how I'd know because I won't eat there until I'm sure it's fixed. Watch out, new C&D owners! It just takes someone with a better product to open across the street and you'll be bankrupt in six months.

This hidden gem will absolutely blow you away with their good. They are a strong contender for the best poutine in the city, but they also cook up some amazing authentic Chinese foods. My personal favourite is the almond shrimp ding, it is an absolute delight to order that and it is always perfect.

They also have some delicious milkshakes. The staff are friendly, willing to help, but they don't waste any time, which makes the line move fast.

First time here. Ordered egg rolls, chicken fried rice, chicken chop suey and crispy beef. Was all very tasty and not overly filling or salty. Service for pick up was quick. The staff were friendly and courteous. Overall was very good experience and look forward to trying other items on the menu.

Always a go to when in the area. Love the chicken fingers with fries. Also great milkshakes
