While sitting in my car I watched them open my package and the entire group of people working were looking through the contents.

I understand packages can be subject to inspection but there were no questions asked about my package or the contents during drop off. My package included a singular can of beer, which was legally being mailed within Canada. Apparently this is against their terms and conditions and they refused to mail it. I wish this was clearer on the website since I made sure to research this before going through the hassle of trying to ship through Chit Chat. I also would have been transparent had the question about the contents been asked at any point during my transaction with Chit Chat.

Perhaps there should be more transparency behind the fact that Chit Chat “inspects” your packages at drop off, and this could happen while the customer is still present in store. Alternatively, it could be a policy that the package will be sealed at the time of drop off if the team needs to inspect the contents. This felt like an invasion of privacy regardless of any fine print in your policies

Was expecting a return. Unfortunately the item was diposed of before I could recover the item from the Burlington location. Then Brittney C stepped in. Not only did she locate the items but is having them shipped back! Prompt, effective service is rare. Thanks again Brittney

I like they are cheap way to send stuff to USA (mail and other small packages) however, during the past 2 years, their rates have increased dramatically. I don't use their service that often now. Their rates were amazing before and I used their service alot for my business orders. Not anymore.

Update: After posting this review, I finally received a response from the company, and was assured that the package is likely delayed but not lost, we will see if this is true. But considering I was given a courteous, extensive, and kind reply from Joanna, I have changed my review from one star to three stars. Hopefully my package isn’t lost, but we will see. I’ll update my rating if it is delivered or not. But nonetheless thank you Joanna for your kind and extensive reply.

What a disgraceful subpar company. I’ve tried contacting them so many times and all I get is a useless unhelpful automated message and they never reply with an actual human response unless you reply to the message and even then they don’t really reply, because I have yet to receive any help or reply from the company. They most likely lost my package, because it’s been since the package was shipped out, February 15th, that the package is still “in transit” and usps hasn’t received it yet. No package should be in transit for practically two weeks without an update unless of course it’s lost.

Chitchats Burlington lost one of my packages worth $150 which was sent to the United states! Not recommended to be used by small businesses.opened a service ticket.zero response from the agents.customer service just lies to you about when to expect a package with no tracking proof.
Very unreliable and terrible customer service. Once posted its in gods hands.either it gets delivered or it gets lost. There is zero customer service and they do nothing to help you (if there is a problem with a shipment then you are on your own.)

Chitchat is the best, their Burlington hub is open even on the weekends, so helpful and inexpensive!

This company was great everything fall apart after it was sold for this guy in B. C and stallion express start to be real competitor, this branch STOLE my 2 package (night shift team) i provide date and time and they told me we will check security camera then they come and said it was mess scan! And it may be lost by our partner! No it was your branch because it say waiting the item and this date i want make sure from doubts and i was right.

I enjoy using Chit Chats: it's reliable & quick and professional. This new location though is pretty inconveniently located. The hours have improved & the building is professional looking.

My package has never been sent through chitchats, the one time it does it takes 10 extra days of sitting in the same stop. I’d already have my package if my package wasn’t sent through this facility. My package has been sitting 40 minutes away from me for close to 2 weeks. Give me my package.

I had a seller in Nova Scotia use this company to send something to Newfoundland. Absolutely NO REASON for the parcel to go to Burlington, Ontario where it promptly got lost. I sent 8 emails to the company before finally relenting and calling. The first customer service associate I spoke to hung up on me, though I don't know if they were at this specific branch that's irrelevant. I would absolutely NOT recommend anyone ever using this shipping company.
Order placed July 25th. Shipped July 30th. Going from Nova Scotia to Newfoundland (I see no reason for it to have even gone to Ontario). The parcel has said received at Burlington Ontario facility since August 4th. Expected delivery was August 16th. Currently September 13th and still nothing. They also tried to pass the blame off to Canada Post who had not even received the parcel.

Use the N Service Road, take the 2nd right exit with cardboard sign 3485 and drive straight. Its a new building and they don’t have a sign yet, located between Gerrie and Consentino surfaces.

I always use chit chats. The prices are very good and cheapest place to send parcels to USA. The only thing I would suggest is opening weekends on Hamilton location or having some kind of mail slot like someone also suggested. This long weekend it was closed for 3 days! Too many days closed for a mailing company.
But overall really good service!

The prices are amazing especially if you ship to USA (about 1/3 the price of Canada post). The service at this location is great, friendly staff. I love that they expanded their hours and now open on weekends.

Don’t use Niagara Falls chit chats drop off. They never pick up on time and there are severe delays. Even the owner said they did not come last week

Don't often write reviews but other businesses need to know NOT to use Chit Chats. Absolutely horrid service - parcels will sit at their facilities for DAYS before leaving, management will yell at you on the phone, and they will lose your packages. We used to drop hundreds of parcels/week and had their warehouse staff sign a Bill Of Lading to confirm receipt of delivery yet they would still claim the parcels weren't received. Video proof and management will still yell at you and tell you you're wrong. Do yourself a favour and ship with Stallion Express.

Un colis comme point de départ Burlington, Ontario, vers la ville de Terrebonne, Québec.presque 15 jours dans le même endroit de dépôt Chit Chat. Normalement, ce type de livraison, c'est 2-3 jours, pas plus. Avec la Covid-19, Je peux comprendre un délai plus important mais impossible de se fier au système de repérage. Toujours une excuse système de repérage bidon, Je ne suis vraiment pas impressionné. Vous devriez prendre exemple sur Intelcom qui offre un bien meilleur service, même en temps de pandémie.
Bon.je crois que je suis partis pour le mois d'attente au même endroit.

The service is great and so are the prices. The hours suck though. As someone who works full time it’s almost impossible to get here. Also now closed Saturdays? A mail slot to inside the building would at least be semi helpful for smaller packages. And no other free drop off locations nearby either.

I was BLOWN away with the service I received from Lana at the Burlington location! I had a major issue that I had created and it seemed that there was no way to fix it. Lana saved my toosh. I went from full on panic to everything being ok! She made the impossible happen! She also was extremely helpful and thorough through our emails. Walked me through everything I need to do and was very clear.
This company is so much better than the typical postal service. They have continued to impress me. I now use them for all of my shipping needs and I am thankful to have them!

Difficult to utilize this business with horrible hours of operation. I encourage to update your service beyond the short window of operation weekdays
