Probably the 5th time this has happened to me - I waited outside for 30 minutes (sometimes 40 minutes) and yet the store still remains closed even though the hours mention 11: 00am to 6: 00pm. I've seen lineups accumulate outside as well with others expecting it to open at 11am. The service provided is great but unfortunately the hours are unreliable.

Workers are knowledgeable and helpful. I couldn't print labels the few odd times and they were always fine with doing it.

PLEASE please please chitchat do not cooperate with intelcome anymore.

I am a vendor and the intelcome already lost my customer‘s package twice. And they just keep asking our client get refund from us and did not even try to find the package even we call them the next day.

Their driver just send some random pictures that is not our package to show that they are delivered the package.which is a joke. I higly doubt the driver steal or sell my product since the delivered picture is not my package!!!And noboday help us.

And the customer service only will said oh I am sorry and we will make a complaint to the driver.then we are the only one loss money!!!!!!my whole month profit is gone because the package is lost!!!!!

Shipped over a hundred packages and the staff are super friendly. Had issues with ~5 packages where the tracking never updated the terminal status but a quick phone call fixed it. Cheapest carrier in Canada!

What can i say chit chats has been an amazing part of the community for a while now from there amazing rates to the friendly and helpful staff, I look forward to more interactions with them. The service at this location has gone downhill. Twice last week my parcels were scanned in the next day. When I talked to the staff here, he shrugged it off and didn't seem to care about what I was saying. This was not a pleasant experience at this location.

Nishil was the most amazing person in the whole world. I've been having a really hard time lately and was using chitchats for the first time ever and he made the process so seamless and so easy and helped me with everything I am so grateful I almost cried on the spot because it was the one thing that went well for me all week.

They used to offer Ground Service but they removed the option because customers complained that it took too long. An option is always better than no option. Now we are moving our services to Stallion Express which offer two different ground options.

Great prices for USA. They are delivered very quickly. However
International shipments take too long to deliver.
Too much work to get things done otherwise it’s your fault for not doing it correctly and your package will get delayed. Every time I go there to drop my packages off I’m left with a feeling of being insulted at. Don’t feel very welcomed. I’ll continue using chit chats for my USA shipments but no longer for intl.

Update 2022: staff are super friendly now, so that’s that!

Further: It isn't even sporadically next day anymore. Consistently 2-day transit to Buffalo for tender to the USPS. Stallion will always do it next day; it's just a much bigger pain to travel there for me.

Further: It has gotten worse - I can no longer rely on Chit Chats to tender my packages to the USPS the following day. I am forced to drive the distance to Stallion Express now if I want this.

Even more recent edit: Chit Chats has a very pretty and functional interface, but support continues to be a little lackluster. They tell you tickets are answered within 12 hours, but they will sit much longer without response. Two small FedEx packages dropped off on time two days ago are still waiting to see any tracking on the US side, and the agent after calling could only tell me that they hadn't crossed to the US yet, that she doesn't know when FedEx will get them, that she doesn't know why they were delayed (she said that maybe they didn't have enough room on the truck "? !? ! "). Here on out, for even slightly urgent shipments, I am going to send DHL direct from Canada and avoid Chit Chats, but will continue using them for USPS. I wasn't sure if they'd be able to handle the two FedEx packages, but I gave them the shot anyway, and they failed. USPS, however, has still been fairly blip free (with rare exceptions).

More recent edit: I've finally found the blip in their service: Canada Tracked. I've been using other brokers for shipping within Canada but finally tried their Canada Tracked. They pass their packages off to Canpar to deliver these. As of three days after dropping off a shipment, this package still hasn't been tendered to Canpar. Needless to say, I won't be using Canada Tracked again. However, everything else cross-border has still been running very smoothly.

Recent Edit: After now several months of using Chit Chats, I've upgraded my review to 5-stars. Only once did my packages not get received by the USPS the following day (which was a weekend day). Every other time, the USPS scanned in all packages by about 3pm the following day. Their customer service has been very responsive. They appear to care about both their business and their customers and I couldn't be happier shipping with them. Again, I could really benefit from a slightly further north downtown drop off spot, but I understand that this would have to make economic sense for them, and likely doesn't. Since I started shipping with them, on days when I do need to go down to their location at the end of the day, I've decided to ditch the car and avoid traffic to their location by taking the subway and then the streetcar, and have been saving a lot of time. Still very happy with their services.

So far, so good. Just started shipping with them, and in the past week or so, I've shipped about 10 packages so far with Chit Chats and everything so far has been amazing. I was very excited to find them - a company that gives me access to the USPS for only a 1-day transit delay.

My one complaint may have to be access - getting to their Queens Quay location towards the end of the day is an absolute nightmare in traffic. Leaving the Carlton & Church area at about 4: 45pm last week, I had to eventually give up because I was still in traffic at 5: 30pm, when they closed. If they extended drop-off hours to 7 or 8pm, that would be amazing. Or, if they had a drop-off point slightly further north with a late cutoff, that would be great too.

In all, they provide an amazing service. I only wish I had slightly better access to it. Thanks, Chit Chats!

Chit chats is a good service, however this location is in the worst possible geographic location. It’s on a one way street with barely any parking available. Terrible decision moving here from the old Toronto location.

Chit Chats is a very user-friendly platform and they make shipping really easy, economic and hassle-free. They significantly helped me save on postage so I was very happy to use their services to ship to the US and I will be back again. Their website does explain everything nicely although the staff at this well-managed Downtown Toronto location on Adelaide near Spadina is very polite, courteous, efficient and helpful about all your shipping related queries. Do check them out!

Im soo confused, did the store get relocated? I commuted all the way to the address just to be walking into a whole different company. I asked residents that lived around the area and they had never heard of it either!

Chitchats is amazing! It has saved so much money in comparison to canada post when I deliver packages to the states. I started using it around May and have been going back at least 2 times a week! Its a long bus ride but absolutely worth it.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Customer service is terrible (management has yelled at me on the phone multiple times), ship times are always delayed, they will lose your parcels at their facilities, and they're overpriced. Do yourself a favour and ship Stallion Express.

Couldn't ask for better. I do daily drop offs and Chitchats have been nothing but amazing. The lady that is there everyday in the Downtown Toronto location is always friendly and willing to help if I had any questions - which is rarely because once you get the hang of it, you're in and out in seconds! The rates are amazing and its the only reason I'm able to compete head to head with US-based sellers.

I'm over 500+ packages in using their service and only ever had a problem with one of them (keeping in mind "them" means both Chitchats and USPS)

This is only the second time I’ve ever had to go to this location. I called ahead to make sure they had what I was looking for and that was large bubble wrap. I was told on both occasions that it would be there when I got there. Both times they had sold it after telling me it would be there for me. Within an hour of making that call, I get there during rush hour traffic only to find out it was sold. I drove from Oakville to downtown Toronto. 61 KM EACH WAY. Nothing more than a sorry and that is supposed to be acceptable? No excuse. The lady that spoke to me on the phone is a manager and as far as I’m concerned she should’ve put my name on it right away so that other staff would not sell it. But of course that wasn’t done. Such a simple thing.

First of all this business takes covid really seriously and even with such, the service at this location has been very speedy which I appreciate. I run a little business, and often have 25 + packages which I save at least 50 dollars on shipping by using ChitChats opposed to going to Canada Post.

I send 500-1000 grams packages, which range in price from 12-16 dollars using this service. If I brought the same thing to Canada Post, it is 18 sometimes more.

Create an account, print your label and tape it on. Bring it here, and consider it done. I probably have over a thousand shipments, and the 2 issues I had regarding my parcels these people actually called me and we sorted everything out, worry free. Don't think twice!

I wanted to put in a good word for the ChitChats customer service rep named Jenni. Not only was she cheery and helpful, she called me back when we got disconnected. These days, customers are often left to call back and start over with a new rep, so that was really thoughtful of her to reach out again.

Terrible experience with these guys so far. Every package that's been sent through them has been very delayed. The lady in the downtown location was rude and unhelpful when I dropped in a package for the first time and had some questions. One of their representatives has advised me a package going from downtown Toronto to Mississauga (approximately 25km) which has taken 10 days as of today, may take up to 45 days to deliver or may be lost and she can't investigate the matter further to check the status. Take this review with a grain of salt as it is being posted during COVID-19 but I will definitely not be using these guys again. Really disappointing experience as the concept is great.

Costumer services is very disappointing, the front desk lady is not helpful, I always get a rude tone of voice from her since I started to use their service a year ago. The good thing is that Chit Chats has a very friendly system that allows you to get your package ready to drop off, so you don't have to deal with rude staff, i feel bad for the costumers that will probably feel the same way. On the other hand I'm happy with the shipment prices and deliveries.

Thank you for your service! Your employees have been working non stop throughout the pandemic and we appreciate them. When my husband told me the Toronto office was reopened, I rushed back there! Lol I like Mississauga and their hours, but Toronto is closer for me and I love the staff! With no childcare my 5 year old twins follow me in and can't wait to say hello to Cora (I hope I spelt her name right!) Amazing work implementing social distancing in both locations! You're helping a lot of small businesses out there including ours!

They won't let you print your own labels anymore and do drop-off, forcing you to use their system and paying more using their streamlined system. Bring back the old system. I've taken my business to competitors as a result.

If you are Canadian e-commerce business you should be using these guys. I've been with them for 8 years and they have never missed a pickup or lost a package. The agent at this location is especially friendly and helpful.

If you're using any other service to mail to the US, you need to switch! Been selling on Ebay for years and shipping with Canadapost the whole time. Had to send a tracked package to France last week; Canadapost price was $45, Chit chats price $11. Need to send small bubble mailer to the US under 500g? Canadapost'll charge you $7-10 non-tracked or $14-20 tracked, Chit Chats $4.50-6 (tracked!) delivered in half the time. I will deal with labeling and weighing my own packages if it saves me 50% + with tracking and insurance benefits. The staff are there if you have any questions and in my experience have always been helpful. The location is busy so keep that in mind. I imagine the people leaving negative reviews don't ship often enough to appreciate the value. I'm about 15 packages in and so far nothing's gotten lost or arrived damaged. Also for those unaware, Chit Chats is basically USPS (United States Postal Service). Only downside is they don't have a lot of locations.

Good and cheap shipping company. Staffs are so friendly and helpful. The system itself makes it easy to put in all information by yourself, paid for shipping online, come print out the sticker at the shop or print on the paper from home, bring the parcel to shop, give it go them and done!

I've been a ChitChats customer for over a year now and have been raving about them since day one. Coral and Dan are AMAZING. So helpful and friendly; above and beyond customer service. I love everything about the ChitChats service; shipping to the US, Canada and International through CC has been a lifesaver for my business. Cannot recommend more!

Used their service for the first time Dec 2nd 2019. The service was EXCELLENT and the staff was very patient with me as I am not tech savvy. DO NOT BE INTIMIDATED, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly, they will help you.

It is really hard to get to this place during open hours if you have a day job not downtown. And there's no midtown location. I'm almost real close to forgetting about this service because I literally can never use it. Shame too because it's a great price and service if they're not yelling at you that the computers are closed. Change your hours to 4: 30 because that's really the availability.

The front desk lady probably does mean to come off like this but I always get a rude tone from her. No sorry or thank yous. Has been this way since I started trying to use their service a couple years ago.

I have a package that should be delivered already but still after weeks the package was never received. I didn't receive any notification or call from them so I thought that everything was fine. What kind of business is this? You're wasting my time. This is really terrible.

Such a terrible service, even though you have a lot of loads to do, you still have to be friendly to your customers. That's not an excuse to be rude. I don't recommend this business.

Unprofessional service, I called in to ask about my package status but the staff kept me waiting then after minutes of waiting she just hunged up? So rude.
