Came into this modern, luxe, and contemporary twist to a steak house. The decor is quite warm and inviting with an intentional choice for each furniture, misc, and design.

We were seated promptly at the lounge which was fairly quiet. It was a nice dinner to catch up with my mom. Our server Josiah was kind, personable and timely in his service. I loved how patient he was with my Mom when ordering. When Josiah suggested us food, he did it in such a kind manner without the hint of rushing service! This gesture was well welcomed in a time where hustle and bustle seems to be the norm.

I ordered the NY Centre Cut with Cauliflower Rice and Greens, whilst my mother ordered the NY Strip. We found that this CHOPS and the quality of the meat miles better than other CHOPS in the city. Keep it up with the quality of your cuts! The chef did a great job with his sear and seasoning. I prefer my steak on the cooler end and they hit the mark. The cauliflower rice had a tinge of lemon and garnishes that fused the flavours together.

Food was mediocre and overpriced. The main dishes (steaks) were not cooked well.
Service was alright. Overall the place is very loud and feels like a sports bar, not an upscale restaurant. The hostess with an Afro was straight up mean. Not sure why. Will not return

I’ve been to this restaurant twice with my boyfriend and the steak was good, atmosphere was beautiful and the money was well spent. However, service lacked the second time around as one of the waitresses wrote there name down on the receipt for my boyfriend prior to handing it off to him as if I wouldn’t see the receipt. This is disgusting behaviour and I will for sure never return after this. To Breanna, hi it’s Vanessa:)

Patio looked really nice. Nice dinner and super service. However the night I went there was a patron who was way to drunk to be in a public place. Shame.

I almost never write restaurant reviews, but we met a waitress there who had to be recognized publicly. Rosa was phenomenal. She was prompt, smart, caring, and knowledgeable about the food. And she just had this friendly demeanor about her that made us all happy.

We were surprised at the quality of the food as well. The decor is trendy and the price very reasonable. I would recommend this to anyone and will visit again. The atmosphere is very cozy, with nice design and intimate lighting.

Had a great anniversary dinner at chop! Estee was very attentive made our anniversary very memorable.

Great place for food, drinks and a great time. They have a DJ as well and overall the ambiance is on point. The food is absolutely worth it and the cost is very reasonable! Highly recommend

Was my friend and I first time at chops and from start to finish we had such chilled and cool experience. Atmosphere was clean, chill and service was smooth. Mai our server was amazing she gets a 6 star from us.

Went here for our anniversary and the food was delicious. The prime rib roast was perfectly medium rare, fries and tuna were great apps (the dipping sauce for the fries has cilantro in it for those like my husband who think it tastes like soap) and we got a creme brule dessert on the house. Service was great as well. Overall had a great time and would go back.

From the food to the service to the ambience, Chop Vaughan has it all. This is one of my favourite spots, especially for business meetings.

My wife chose Chop Restaurant because of the good reviews and also it was our wedding anniversary as well. We were very impressed with the host; she was very polite and helpful. Our waitress, Christina was awesome to us. She made our night very special with her gracious and kind nature, she was very professional and patient. We were surprised with a dessert that she prepared just for our occasion and we were floored with her generosity. Christina is by far the best I've seen in a long time and if I was a competing restaurant I would snatch her away. Great experience.food was great and we will be back. Food was good, staff was very friendly, but, it was very noisy, difficult to have conversation.

The atmosphere, the food is just right, the staff are friendly welcoming. Love it had an amazing time with my husband.

Nice place, the prime rib steak that I ordered was soggy with a lot of fat, next time I will try the sirloin.

Ambience is nice, their placement/seating of patrons method seems to lack diversity though ;)
Smoked Rib-eye was worth it, tried the bone in as well. Drinks were subpar for the price point.
Dessert was served with no utensils, took 10 mins until the waitress checked on us, provided them and apologized. Overall it's more location than quality, in my opinion of course.

Spencer was our server on the patio. We came for lunch on a Friday. He was very accommodating with our 1 year old. Food was great, thank you kitchen staff! We loved the patio

Bad service. We come to Chop often, but tonight wasn't the night.
Steak meals came late and already wrong temperature. One dinner was Oscar steak and came out without scallops and shrimps. Server didn't even ask if we want anything to drink when dinner came out. We finished dinner and had empty plates on table for 15 minutes. Server nowhere to be found. Had to ask another server to check on her. Had to ask for glass of water twice after dinner. Not happy this time.

The seating did not feel ideal, as we were seated at a smaller round table with uncomfortable chairs. Server was friendly. We were served very quickly and the food was tasty. However we needed to leave promptly after dinner and the server had disappeared completely, and we had to rely on another staff member to obtain our bill and finish off for the night. This made the experience feel awkward and rushed. I hope this was just an unusually busy night and not the norm at this place.

Always good food and friendly service. Prime rib was on point tonight. Also was able to grab a table right away.

Had an amazing experience and delicious food, served by Selina who was an absolute doll with such positive attitude! Most definitely coming here again and asking for her.

Server was outstanding, clearly having issues in the kitchen because the manager came by the table twice to say the food was on the way. Food was luke warm and not that good. Won't be returning

Food was very disappointing. I ordered the steak sandwich which arrived in good time but about 1/4 of the steak was inedible (hard nerve or something that couldn’t even be cut) and the remainder was incredibly salty. Service was alright- no real complaints but equally not outstanding but timely overall. I did not complain or bring to anyone’s attention as this was a business meeting and did not want to draw attention, but I was extremely disappointed with the meal, especially for a place like this.

Absolutely great food. The staff was very friendly. We are visiting from out of town and it was a great place to have a nice dinner. Next time we come to another festival, we'll be sure to stop in.

I went here in the summer, the patio is very nice and the food is delicious! Service at times does take long.

Came here last Saturday for a date night and Had an amazing server Selena! She was very knowledgeable about the food and drinks and had such a huge personality! Loved her service she deserves a raise no doubtttt!

Good food got their appetizers. Their sangria pitcher is so bomb! Its not on the menu so you have to ask for it. The servers were also all so nice. Very good service. Overall great atmosphere, food and staff.

Had my birthday here with a party of 8. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Everything from the moment we got there till we left was amazing. One person had and an issue with his burger and the staff took care of it right away. My regret is not taking a picture of my food. It looked amazing and tasted even better. 200% would vist again and again

I hesitate to post a poor rating however they really need to get their service levels back up to standard. It certainly wasnt for lack of people - where other restaursnts are struggling to find staff, this location had plenty of people.the problem being the training. We had nobles that 5 different servers manning our party of 7.1 was semi competent. Young guy who brought the drinks didn't have a clue as to how to serve. Just put all drinks on end of the table for us to figure out who had what. Also couldn't poor a beer correctly. So bad the first Guiness was ruined and had to be replaced. Meals were fine, nothing special. Steak was cooked correctly but over seasoned. I'm hoping they can correct what is wrong as we do recommend this restaurant to business partners on a regular basis. Will hold off sending people here for now until they get their act together.

Best dinner I had last night in this location because the server (Allisa) was super nice friendly professional and helpful she deserve more then 5 stars.

If I can give a 6 out of 5 I would. Went yesterday with a long time friend and we both loved the experience. The reception was incredibly friendly and the fillet mignon was the best I had. So juicy and perfectly seasoned and I didn't even the knife to cut due to how soft it was! The whole staff was incredible. Loved our waitress. Wish I remember her name. We are definitely returning

Me and my boyfriend went the other day for dinner on there patio! Overall service was good but they were not following any of the Covid dine in rules, our patio table was not 6ft from the other tables, all the customers were walking around maskless indoors and outdoors and no one would tell them to wear a mask.

There are other people eating around them and that’s not safe even if it’s outdoor patio, germs can still stay in the air. Even when people were entering the front doors nobody was told to wear a mask and there was no social distancing happening anywhere not even the bathrooms. Basically saying they don’t care about ur well being. For that reason I gave them a 1star!

Really great place and especially amazing outdoor experience with very large heaters. The service was amazing, friendly and pleasant dining experience.

One of the best steaks I have ever had was in this beautiful restaurant. Kind and professional staffs, beautiful decore, amazing and tasteful food. Definitely recommend this place.

I went here with my parents and friends. I ordered the steak and garlic shrimp which was delicious! The staff were all very friendly and courteous. Food came out quick and was done perfectly. It was not too dark or loud so we could hear each other talk and see each other.

I have just had my baby shower in there and I couldn't have been any happier. They were very accommodating in adjusting their set lunch for my needs with very fair pricing, and the service was fantastic. The food was delicious, and I am looking forward to coming back there again. Also, the decorations and the atmosphere were very cozy and the music was reasonably volumed that we all were able to have proper conversations without screaming in each other's ears. I would highly recommend the place if you are looking for an afternoon event option.

Very tasty food (tge best crab cake and legs ever) amazing service and very friendly and efficient staff. Zuzanna my server was amazing.would definitly go back.

Food was ok. My meat came overcooked so I sent it back to the kitchen, took 30 mins to get the second one and it was still overcook. If I’m giving 3 stars was because even overcook it taste great but as a steakhouse I find it rare that twice my food came overdone and then they try to tell me that their terms of cooking are different than in other restaurants.hmmm I’m like medium rare in Canada and in all the world means the same come on! I went for a party so I try not to make a big deal about this.still sadly I had an over cook fillet mignon: (

Regular but made the mistake of going there on a Saturday for a date night. Service was sub par, food took forever and the bar staff were rude and condescending. I wont be coming back!

The food was awsome and the service was amazing thanks to Anthony and his staff my birthday party was amazing, I would recommend this restaurant to all once again thank you so much for hospitality.

If I could give 6 stars for today's service, I would.
Tonight, I came in with my family for a late dinner bday celebration. The ambience was nice and dim - perfect for dinner. We ordered steaks from the Chop Experience as it was an amazing choice.
The food was divine, excellently cooked (to our liking) and very delicious.
In terms of service, we had the pleasure of being served by one of the best servers we have ever gotten - NICOLE. Nicole has a personality and an attitude that we have never seen before- treating us with absolute care and respect. She described the menu very well and she was very accommodating with all of the questions we had. She even went out of her way to make my birthday feel special and we left with nothing but laughs and smiles on our faces.

To anyone coming to Chop, please request her as she will make any night, a great one.

I never ever had salmon so good untill i had one in Chop Steakhouse & Bar. Good ambiance for date night, office gathering or dinner with loved ones.

Good, contemporary atmosphere and great space without being too loud. Excellent steak and friendly service.

Came by on a Friday night with the buddies. We were celebrating a stag in the lounge. Great drinks, great laughs and a great time. The restaurant even gave us some complimentary appetizers for our time being. Our server, Nicole, was definitely one of the best servers to serve us - keeping our night with laughs, jokes, and some stories. Couldn't have asked for a better server. Thank you Nicolettttta! We will be coming back for sure.

Great and friendly service, and one of the best Steak I've ever had. The Dessert wasn't the greatest, but I can look past it. Overall Chop was a very good experience at my first fancy restaurant.

I went yesterday with my husband and mom for the first time and our experience there was truly incredible. Our waitress Melissa gave us such an amazing service it was impressive, she also made us feel very comfortable being there. We ordered the French onion soup, cesar salad, and steak bites to start the soup was truly amazing and the Cesar salad was yummy. Our main dishes which were the New York steak well done it has great flavours and that’s pretty rare to find when you order your steak well done one with mash potatoes and the other with fries great sides as well. We also ordered a top sirloin medium rare, it was so juicy and flavourful and for dessert we got 2 New York Cheesecake with Seasonal Fruit it was the best cheesecake I have had my mom got the Crème Brûlée it as equally amazing. The service and food measures up to the price of your meal. We most certainly will be coming back again

We had a great time at Chop tonight, Daniela our waitress was amazing and truly made our experience memorable. She was knowledgeable about the details of the menu and so accommodating. We will definitely celebrate our next family birthday there.

Quick dinner before my flight. Food was great with reasonable prices. The restaurant was full but gladly we found a spot in the bar area. The staff told us that she will serve the bread first, but no bread came. The food and drinks was served. Each table had their bread served. I didn't bother to ask where's our bread since am in a rush to catch my flight.

I simply enjoyed their food. I always get excellent service there. The place is always clean and the cashiers are always very friendly. Keep up the good work.
