Awesome tasty food. Went with family and started with Veg platters and chicken appetizer they are really tasty. Coming to Chicken biriyani which is real authentic Hyderabadi biryani flavour. Really liked the food. Thanks

We ordered karivepaku chicken, Apollo fish, chicken biryani and some other items. Food was very delicious and was delivered on time. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. Most importantly, girl named prashanti suggested us the right items to try. Worth your money.

Food is Amazing… We ordered 2 biryanis and Non veg starter… Taste is good… Mutton biryani is Paisa Vasool…. Must recommended for Biryani fans…

Worst food ever that I have tried so far. Very slow service and even the person deliver the complete order, have to ask again and again.
Naan was dipped in oil and had weird taste, even none other food taste good.

Ordered Bezawada Spl Chicken, tasted more like chicken 65 biryani with additional flavours. Flavourful chicken and good quantity but extremely dry.

So far I have been fortunate to try several of the dishes at this restaurant on two separate occasions, everything is flavourful and very tasty. Have tried so far:
*egg masala
*butter chicken
*goat malai
*gongura chicken biryani
* shrimp fried rice
*paneer butter marsala
*several naan's and roti's
* corn & onion samosa's
*mango lassi's which was reminiscent of a mango cheesecake (delicious!)

Four of us dined for roughly $20 each two adults, and two children, before taxes/tips

The food is so delicious must try paneer Tikka and gongura chicken. Very satisfying and thoroughly enjoyed.

Delicious Indian foods in town. An excellent menu with a wide range of options and should say their Mutton Dum Biriyani is top-notch! Good service and extremely generous portions.

Butter chicken was amazing, delicious briyani rice, and customer service was caring.

It was very tasty very attentive staff if you have any concerns or questions.

In short- unprofessional staff, low quality food and pathetic service.
We went here for dinner on 24th. The servers were confused as to what to recommend which is fine. When the food arrived no cutlery was provided as in none. The dish came with just one fork. Had to ask for cutlery and water. Chicken65 dry which was recommended by the server was salty and gobi Manchurian was way too spicy without any flavour. As we are working through our plates nobody cared to clear our tables and everything just piled up on the table. Dal tadka was decent but the breads (naans) seemed to be frozen which were heated and served. Asked for a split bill and specifically asked the server to split items based on who ordered what into 2 bills between four people which isn’t much to ask. Yet we were presented with two bills just split in half of the total amount of food ordered. When asked again to split it based on who ordered what, the server refused and said its not possible.
A really bad experience.

Since this place is new and they have authentic food. Tried chicken 65, chicken dum biryani, egg fried rice, karvepaku chicken biryani, and tomato kaju curry good quality, quantity and reasonable pricing in midtown toronto. Best place to go and try with friends and family. Highly recommend this place. Thank you Chowrasta for opening your new location in midtown toronto.

I went to try considering the reviews but from service to food very disappointing.
I ordered and they literally forgot me despite there were only two other customers. The biryani i took was so bad. Rice tasted as they were old rice and weren’t even cooked with chicken

Wanted to try chowrasta from long time at other locations thanks for opening at younge and eglinton. Shrimp ghee roast biryani and chicken 65 appetizer both tasted delicious great service and staff. Thank you chowrasta. What a big menu will visit again.

*** update 12/16 - the manager did call back and follow up based on the review and they showed great regret on the incident. The management offered full refund.
I often refrain from leaving a negative review, but this time I had no chance but to share my experience with this management. Since it's opening, I have ordered food from multiple times and never been disappointed but except this last time. Last Friday, I went to place an order for take out and was told to wait for 30 mins. I came back around that time and patiently waited to get my order. After almost an hour since I placed order, I finally asked for my order as I noticed ppl after me got their orders on time. I guess at this point, they realized my order is back tracked and make a rush on it. I get my order after 1hr 10 mins. Sadly, when I got home to eat, the appetizer Gobi Manchuri is raw and the paneer gravy is semi cooked as I can taste raw spices. Having already been disappointed with long wait and poor food I decide to not follow up that night. Only highlight of the dinner was the complimentary dessert they gave for the delay. However I call the restaurant after 3 days to follow up and their manager has not returned my call as promised by the person who spoke to me and took my details. I even followed up asking why manager has not called me back. If this is how you treat your loyal customers, I will think twice before ordering from there again. Thoroughly disappointed.

All the hyderabadi biryani and dishes at one place wow what a menu. Great quality good food in one roof. Happy holidays

I recently visited Chowrasta Indian Cuisine at the Yonge & Eglinton location and was thoroughly impressed with my dining experience.

Upon arriving, the staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The ambiance of the restaurant was also lovely, with traditional Indian decor and a warm and cozy atmosphere.

As for the food, it was absolutely delicious. The food was packed full of flavor and just the right amount of heat. The portion size was also generous, leaving me feeling satisfied after my meal.

I also appreciated the attention to detail in the presentation of the dishes, as everything was beautifully plated and presented.

Overall, I highly recommend Chowrasta Indian Cuisine for anyone looking for delicious and authentic Indian food in the Yonge & Eglinton area. The staff, atmosphere, and food were all top-notch and I will definitely be returning in the future

Best Briyani I ever had in Toronto, and chicken dum was the best with all the Indian spices and flavours, need to try again and again for the Briyani and friendly staff experience over there

Tried tandoori chicken, shahi ghoast biryani loose prawns, karivepaku chicken. Great quality and quantity everything halal and never got bored of these dishes. I recommend everyone to try these. Wow so authentic.

I ordered a Karavipakku Chicken Boriyani for my dinner and it was awesome. The Flavours were really fascinating and I really want to taste it again.
I had a apollo fish as a separate dish. It was not matching with this briyani. But i tasted it separately where the taster is very unique. I had a new flavor ckmbination to enjoy in it.
Portion size is well adequate for 2 persons. Keep it up!

Worst experience! Being a South Indian, I was excited to try this restaurant and expected a better service from them. But such a dissappointment!
Quantity is tooo less for the price. After waiting 40 minutes, they served cold biryani. They charged 18% gratituity charge for three people and the chef said we can double check the rules on the back of the menu. Their menu stated the gratiuity fees starts fron 15% and above for 5 people. But we were only 3! I have never expected such a disastrous experience. Hope they improve this!

First, on the positive, the food was pretty good, particularly the Naan bread.

However, we ordered lunch for pickup through UberEats; when I left to pick it up, the app showed ready for 12pm; when I arrived at the store (5 min walk) they'd updated it to 12: 25pm, so I left. After I got notification the food was ready, I returned to a very quiet restaurant, but was left waiting 15 minutes for my food.

No apologies, no explanation.

Similar to another review, if it was a matter of it being very busy and they were overwhelmed, it would be one thing. This seemed to be general disinterest.

I hope the restaurant can get some management in place to turn it's service around, otherwise, I don't see this location lasting.

The biryani you get here is the authentic world famous hyderabadi biryani. Seems like They also have other flavored biryanis just like what you find in hyderabad (house of biryanis).

Tried Chicken 65 biryani, kondaveedu chicken biryani, kaju panner, chicken Hakka noodles and gongura goat curry where so authentic and spicy very friendly staff and customer service.

Great Quality, Quantity and Service.never miss a chance to try their butter chicken and chiken tikka masala along with masla dum rice.wow so authentic and full of spices.

It would not be an exaggeration to say that the food here is outright inedible. All the dishes had excessive salt in them. We could not eat more than 2 bites of any dish. In spite of being the only customers on a Sunday evening in the entire restaurant, the server did not bless us with the required attention or inquired whether we needed anything during our entire meal. Although we ordered the food in the correct sequence, our main course was brought first and starters and drinks much later during our meal. Chowrasta is a horrible attempt at masquerading garbage as Indian food.

Visited chowrasta for the first time in Toronto and enjoyed their biryanis and starters… I recommend their chicken 65 biryani
