Christian took $2500 from me to help my girlfriend and only reviewed the case and gave a a few recommendations. He did not fallow threw with what we agreed and he would not send me a receipt or a refund. I would consider this to be fraudulent. He was rude and and angry when I expressed my concerns. I would stay clear of his services.

Totally ignores the fact you are in jail and treats you very rude on the phone. Gets his assistants to do most of his work including court appearances. The only reason I gave him 1 star is because I can't give him zero. Do not use him, everyone I met in jail either told me he was unknown or he was a dumptruck. I should have known when I hired him over the phone when one of the first questions he asked was what color I was.

Worst lawyer ever! Waited over 2 years to go to court. 2 days before my court date, he said we don't have a case and he wouldn't proceed with my case. I was hurt bad and now I can't stand for more than a minute without my entire body shaking and feeling like I'm going to fall over. I could have used the settlement money because a few weeks later my husband died. Now I'm alone with no money and going to loose my house. I have 3 children. Very unprofessional.

Mr. Levien is very punctual, honest and more importantly has integrity; finding out first hand couple days ago I was lucky to have the great council of Mr. Levine to get me out of a ruff position with the crown. I must say mr Levine clearly has professional experience and respect from the crown and certain judges ; something to think about when putting ur life on the hands of any lawyer, if you reading this I would like to say if your looking for a reliable lawyer with a proven resume history this is the guy!

I currently have an open complaint with The Ontario Law Society against Christien Levien. He showed up to my trial late and even worse not prepared. He attempted to adjourn the matter but the judge disagreed. Its like he forgot about my court date all together. This lawyer left the entire courtroom in a confused state. I did not know what to do, my lawyer was not prepared to proceed and the judge stated that he must if I choose so. As a result Christien lavien was removed as my lawyer on the date of my trial by the judge. He felt my confidece in my lawyer was in conflict and it would not be fair to contiue. I was given one month to retain a new lawyer. This lawyer promised to return money and now refuses. So I basically got ripped off. I had to hire a new lawyer and start all over again (Benard Cugleman).
Im Surprised to see any good reviews on here. He made it seem like he cared about my situation, then screwed me over royaly. I was already off work for 5 months due to an injury and was extremely short on cash, Lavien promised me he would help and instead took my money and ran. Even though he never represented me in trial (which is what I paid him to do) All I can do is warn others Be careful out there with lawyers. This was my first experience and it was a NIGHTMARE. I will update once the law society contacts me again
