I got a tattoo from Varoon and he did a fantastic job. Exactly what I wanted. Very nice guy and overall it was a very good experience.

Michelle is a fantastic tattoo artist. So cheerful, talented, and made me feel so welcome! Will definitely be back for another tattoo with Michelle!

Dimitriy was an amazing piercer! He did my bridge piercing for me and did an amazing job with the placement. He was kind and fun to talk to throughout the whole process. He even followed up after the next day making sure everything was fine with the piercing and ensured me to reach out anytime I have questions or concerns. I'd highly recommend!

Really pleasant experience getting tattooed with Chou. One of the hardest working tattoo artists out there. Worked all night on my 2 large colored tattoos. Frequently checked up on me and even did leg massage on me when my leg got numb. Over all 10/10 with Chou!

Tattoo didn’t heal well despite following directions - lots of bald patches within the first month.

I was also told I can get a free touch up within 6 months, but upon requesting a touch up (4 months after my tattoo) they refused to offer me the complimentary touch up because they said their policy is 3 months, not 6. A side note: at the time of my tattoo appointment, they explicitly told me that coming in sooner than 3-4 months for a touch up was too soon, and that I have 6 months for a free touch up. This is why I waited until 4 months post-appointment.

This was my first tattoo experience ever, and despite me being given misinformation, Chronic Ink did not take responsibility nor try to make amends for my poor experience - they not only said “there’s nothing we can do”, they tried to tell me that I was the one who misunderstood them when I was VERY clearly told 6 months.

Very disappointed because I was planning on returning to Chronic Ink for many more tattoos, but I will not be going back.

Absolutely horrible booking process with sessions re-scheduled several times me and my boyfriend booked a session 2 years ago and cancellations made the night before with no reason. Clearly they have gotten greedy taking on too many projects without being able to coordinate them. Go somewhere else and find artists that actually care about your time

**EDIT: Excellent follow up from shop and looking forward to bringing my niece in once they open up again. Justin has been fantastic with communication and looking forward to being able to book an appointment once they are able to reopen!

Disappointing experience with miscommunication through the Chronic Ink website, reception and in person. Not sure if the brand is franchised or corporate stores but they need to set clearer guidelines for age limits & waivers on piercings. My 15-yo niece was gifted a navel piercing for her birthday and did a ton of research and calling to ensure she found a reputable place that would allow her parent/guardian to sign for her and when we arrived for her appointment, we were turned away. She had a clear discussion when booking the appointment over the phone about her age and was assured it would be fine. Maybe not a big deal to most but this was crushing for her.
The staff member at reception did do their best to offer free after-care if we wanted to come back when she was 16 but my niece had her heart set on it being that day.

I got my tattoo done by Patrick a few weeks ago, and he was a pretty chill guy.

Patrick is an amazing artist - he took the time to make sure I was comfortable with the tattoo, made sure I was okay with the placement and size of it, and took the time to alter the design with some different ideas he had come up with the day of.

He’s very dedicated to his art, and he’s got so many great ideas. We even spoke about some of my future ideas and he gave me some great feedback.

100% I would go back to him in a heartbeat.

I got my septum done a while back. The gentleman who work there are very nice and knowledgeable. They have a great deal on piercings almost all the time, I would definitely recommend them.

Very disappointed with the mask services Chronic Ink provides. I basically got a product that I did not request, poor customer service. I emailed the company for a possible return/refund/something and no answer. I want to share this so the owner/manager pays attention to customer satisfaction. I was patience with it willing to work something out as a basic unwanted transaction but instead I got no answer at all, In addition this company took my money for the "cause" and left me with a product I never asked for.

Zeke did a sweet job of a really simple walk in! Thought about another tattoo after too! Chronic Ink made it so easy to just get it done! Awesome love these guys!

I took way to long to get a simple lobe ear piercing done here. The confirmation email said that it should be 20 minutes but it ended up being an hour. I didn't know why it would take so long because I have gotten piercings done before at other places and it was a lot shorter. I booked online and no one was in-line to do it before me. I was told to wait 5 to 10 minutes for sanitization but it ended up being way longer. It was unfortunate because I had someone waiting for me and I felt really bad because I thought it would be done in 20 minutes.

I am so incredibly happy with the service I got from Courtney L this week. I got a cartilage piercing at another tattoo place and they did a bad job and put in the wrong size post which made my ear irritated. Courtney took such amazing care of my and switched up my post, explained exactly why it wasn't healing, what to expect, how to really care for it and even wants to see my in a few weeks so she can change the post and make sure it is healing properly. This was all done without cost, hesitation or expectation. Because we were so happy with the level of care and professionalism, my daughter got the same piercing and was taking care of amazingly by Courtney. Her level of service and care for her job should be the standard across the board. Thanks Courtney and see you in a few weeks for our follow-up with you!

Ive been to all 3 locations and dont have a damn conplaint with any.these people are all amazing in theyre own unique way.ive been able to see at 6 artist danny ong, AK, steveio, helen, amber robyn, everyone of them do amazing jobs amd you can totally trust them to with any idea you throw at them.i love giving them free rain to change up the style or design becuase at the end of the day they know what they are doing.always an amazing time going to see the shop and always leave with a huge smile on my face.thanks again for everything chronic ink i will always come back when i need a new tattoo

I got my ears pierced at Chronic Ink on Sept 2,2018. I got my second lobes and a helix done. I was very pleased with service I received at this establishment. I was confident in my piercers (Ian) knowledge and abilities by the way he answered my questions and provided information. The shop is incredibly clean and unlike many other tattoo shops, i was not intimidated by the atmosphere. After everything, including the service, jewelry and aftercare my total was almost $300. Although the service was amazing, I do believe they are very over priced. Since I am only 13, I was extremely nervous to get these piercings but I wanted them so badly. I am glad I went to Chronic Ink because they made my experience great. The staff was kind and informative. And I once again have to commend the cleanliness of the establishment. Chronic Ink is excellent but make sure you in the position to spend a good chunk money

Communicating through the customer service email as requested by the artists who work at the shop has not been a good experience at all. I sent them an extremely detailed set of emails and each response I received the person replying ignored fundamental pieces of information that I presented at the start of the process. It just kept happening. I haven't heard from them since I had to remind them that coming in for a consultation isn't feasible because I live 8 hours away from the shop in the US and asked them what their procedure for clients out of the area is. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth especially when they lead their first email with "before we can match you with (the person I specifically researched and picked out) we need to know more information about your idea". I'm emailing to request a spot with a specific person not your shop in general.

Got my septum pierced here by Gina. Absolutely in love with it! I received and continue to receive so many compliments! I was hesitant and a little afraid of the pain but she was very professional and super nice. I didn't experience any pain (just a sting ofc) and my septum healed beautifully. Also she gives out really cute stickers! I will forever be a chronic ink fan! I am planning my future sleeve tattoo and will be coming here! Thank you Gina ️

I'm very happy to have had my very first tattoo session done at Chronic Ink. I'm beyond happy with the outcome of my tattoo and the overall service I received from their staff. It was a super breezy and welcoming process, and their staff made it a very comfortable experience. From emailing inquiries down to finishing my tattoo, my experience was greatly positive and I'd highly recommend Chronic Ink to anyone looking to get tattooed. They have so many amazingly talented artists in various styles, and their locations are very well kept and clean, also aesthetic. I booked my appt at the Downtown location and was tattooed at the Eglinton location. Both were great environments, surroundings & friendly staff. My tattoo was done by a guest artist they were featuring at the time, Mumi, who did an absolutely phenomenal job on my tattoo. She was very gentle and took her time, made sure I was happy with the design and if I was doing well during the process, which I greatly appreciated. I couldn't be more happy and satisfied with everything, and I'll definitely be coming back to Chronic for my future tattoos!

I started a blackout piece on my right arm in May of 2017. My artist was Sarb. He told me that the tattoo needed two weeks in between in each session to heal. I was told this would take 6 sessions to complete and was quoted at $900 per session. In total I paid over $4000 for half sleeve. There were multiple occasions where Sarb cancelled my appointments on the day of because he was up all night tattooing other artists from the shop or helping setup the new store. I also said I wanted all my appointments at the Markham location and he told me to go to the Gerrard location for my final sessions. All my sessions were finally completed by October.six months after my first session. By the end of my tattoo I was left with two different shades of black, and clear line of separation through the black. I went to chronic ink despite their extremely high price point because I was sure it meant I was going to be happy with my tattoo. A year later I'm regretting spending so much with an artist who didn't really treat me well. The reason I'm giving a two star review instead of one is because everyone else I dealt with at chronic ink was very kind, the shop is very clean and their other artists seem very good at what they do. I would reccomend looking at other shops before you book anything with chronic ink because there are many great artists around the Toronto area for a much better price.

Amazing experience here. Walked in to try and get a tattoo I wanted and was seen immediately by an artist. Within 40 minutes of me walking in I was getting my tattoo started. I highly recommend Lynsey, she was incredible and worked well with me to make my tattoo look amazing. Can't wait to get another piece done here.

My first ink with Chronic but neither my first in general, nor, probably, my last. Coming up with an idea and design for a tattoo is hard work. I know I want to do something but I’m not creative and so I pull together references, mull it over and bam, five years later I think I have what it should be. I know, not the most productive timeframe. This tatto was script. The reason for the tattoo was memorial so it needed to be perfect. I sought out Chronic because one of their areas of highlight is fine line and script.

I originally went to the Yonge location, the Yonge man that helped me on my walk in referral session was not really helpful creatively. He kept asking ‘what do you want’. I explained that while I have some clear ideas I don’t know what is possible. Anyway, he matched me with ALISON at Eglinton. While the young man had implied that the font I chose was great, working with Alison, she took time to explain to me that the font, would likely over time, bleed and not the best choice. We looked at some other fonts that I had brought and found one that we both could be happy with.

She was meticulous in her set up. She took so much care when placing the stencil to ensure that it was positioned perfectly. She understood my motivations and worked with me. I really appreciate that.

I woke up this morning, day 2 and I love my tattoo. It is exactly as I imagined it and having a thought, caring, creative artist, like Alison, is what made it come together. Thanks Alison!

Really bad customer service. Just went in for a consultation and it was not beginner friendly at all. The consultant did not even bother to introduce himself and the whole time it felt like we were a bother to him. Would not return and definitely would not recommend to anyone. (This was the 378 yonge location.)

Shoutout to Ethan for his super beautiful sketch for my tattoo idea, for his patience with not only the fact that this was my first tattoo but also that I had an anxiety I had to keep in check the entire time and he calmed me down throughout the whole experience. The result is exactly what I was looking for! So happy with my experience with Chronic ink - from the consultation to the tattoo itself, I felt welcome from the get go. Thank you!

Hello. I got my septum peirced by Alex at the @pierced.conceptstore in upper canada mall today and I love it, and he handled an issue with the jewellery really well (the clicker part got stuck and broke off in my nose! But he assured me all was well and was able to repeirce and put a seond ring in). I am very happy and cant wait to get more work done and jewellery as well. His drive from T. O to Newmarket is worth it and appreciated. Thank you for sending him up here

By far the best tattoo shop I have been too so far. The shop is very clean and the staff very friendly and informative. I got my fourth tattoo here and my first color tattoo, which I had been nervous about. Christine who was the artist, was wonderful in explaining how the color would appear on my body, and in the design of my tattoo. She made every moment that I was there comfortable and her work is very well done. I love my tattoo!

Went with my daughter for her tattoo. Had Gail as her artist. She took meticulous care of my daughter and was very professional. She did very beautiful work. Very happy. Thank you so very very much.

I got a tattoo of a boat done by Michael Hsieh and could not be happier! He did amazing artwork on my arm and was a really nice guy, he asked a few times how i was doing throughout the tattoo and i appreciated that, the atmosphere of the shop was really cool and clean. Was an enjoyable experience, i will be going back there for any other tattoos that

I had my first (and only) tattoo done here. Once an appointment was made, things went smoothly. My tattoo artist, Jeff, was careful, gentle, and very good. Even my daughter enjoyed her ear-piercing experience. I would recommend this parlour without hesitation!
