Went on a complete whim. Our kids (4&7) had never been before and had been asking to go for about a year now. The pizza wasn't bad and the kids had an absolute blast with the games. I wish longer passes were a little cheaper so the kids could go longer. The staff were friendly and helpful, the facility was clean and the kids got to experience something that they had been wishing to try.

One of the best places to treat children or so that they spend all the energy they have for good service, good food and the personal is one of the best I see. This place is one of the best in the area to spend 2 or 3 hours with your family here and your kids will be too tired to sleep I love it

The kids love it this was our first time going. It was bit overwhelming for our daughter shes 3 and didnt know where to start so we lost some time getting her going but once we started playing she loved it. She didnt want to do much other then riding the cars etc so we didnt get much for points. The lady in front of us redeeming didnt use all her points and asked us if we would like to pick something out. We were a few points short of what our daughter really wanted like 10 points. Lets be honest its 50cent junk but a kid wants what a kid wants. The guy working the counter could have said no but guess what he said. No problem its only 10 points and helped us out because of this kindness we will 100% be back your staff and other patrons are great. Your willingness to make a kid happy is why we will be back so i hope you understand.

Booked my daughter’s birthday party here on a Saturday and was beyond disappointed with how it turned out. There is no actual party room, just party tables. Each party is given a long table, all the tables and other parties are super crammed together. The tables are small and low. With the other parties happening at the same time, you barely have any space to move. You don’t receive a personal happy birthday song or dance from Chuck-E, all the parties together receive the happy birthday song at once. You’re rushed to take photos with Chuck-E and kids from other birthday parties are swarming him. It’s loud, chaotic and super over priced. The host kept trying to upsell everything, even if you say no or it’s ok, they’ll still push. The counter to collect your prize is so crowded and unorganized. The employees are clueless, if you ask them a simply question, they don’t know and have to ask someone else. I visited this place a few times and every time 2-3 toddler rides are down. I truly regret booking my daughter’s birthday party here. It is NOT worth the price you’re going to have to pay, you’re better off going to playdium or another kids place. They don’t even provide a return pass for the children or extra play points. They also didn’t allow my daughter to step into the ticket blaster. Once the party time slot is over, the hosts just start dumping whatever is on the table, even if you brought your own cake or cupcakes. I would NOT recommend having a kids birthday party here.

Staff has no knowledge of what's going on, bought 2 drafts and a personal pizza 51 bucks could have gone to Montana's and got two steaks and two drafts for 70 bucks. Went to find a table staff took us one area, other staff member said no not there took us to correct area three tables all of them filthy. Staff member said " I am sorry did not know table's were not clean" helped to clean our table, all and all the most terrible service I had after spending 51 bucks, even your pizza was no good terrible service!

Chuck e cheese is a complete rip off if you decide to have a birthday there. We had 6 children including my son. It cost about $300 dollars. We had a reserved table for 2 hours. We got 2 medium and 2 XL pizzas, unlimited pop (for the kids only), 45 play points per child, cutlery/hats/plates/cups, a visit by Chuck e cheese for 10 mins, and the ticket blaster for my son. They didn't even do the full animatronic show anymore.

That being said, the pizza was delicious, my son enjoyed the games, and our hostess was wonderful. She was very kind, attentive and deserves a raise! I believe her name was Aliyah, and I apologize if that was wrong.

Noah the manager is one of the rudest management staff I have spoken to. (Not sure if I spoke to him on an off day). When I spoke to him, he was quick to smile at me all while blaming staff. (He had a bit of an ignorant demeanour). If you’re having staff issues it is a poor reflection on how you train staff. I have been many time’s without issues. He definitely came across as a manager who would never take blame. This review is based on 1 out of multiple time’s at CC. Not to sure if I will take my children back.

Took grandkids 1st time in 20 years was ok kids liked it was expensive for an hour good for party's
25 July 2022 0:59
Creepy start - they make you take a selfie on entry, and when we tried to leave later on, the staff member stood blocking the exit gate until we showed her our selfie. They didn’t ask us to share, but non-verbal coercion? No thanks. Games and mini rides for kids aged 3 and up. All machines require 1-2 tokens. They used to have a free playground apparently, but that’s gone now; everything is pay-to-play. All games run on a timer, generally lasting about 20 seconds; player skill has no effect on the timer. Video Games are mostly low quality, no name. We bought the 42 tokens for $17, the cheapest option, and it lasted a bit under 30 mins. If you’ve 2+ older kids aged 5 and up, definitely buy the 30 minute timed pass, as it’s better value. Compared to real arcades, this place is awful low-rent depressing; the games are peak ADHD with their fixed 20 second windows, and always end prematurely resulting in disappointment and anger for the kids and adults. The only good thing I can say is that you get to choose a lot of different games to play without it costing too much. The kids seemed to love it, I hated it, and the selfie thing was off putting, so it’s 2 star for me.
02 July 2022 5:57
My son loves it and it was definitely fun. Loved seeing the Animatronic standing there. My only issue with the place was the kids pushing others out of their way for the games. But I don't blame the restaurant for that. This place is so fun and I'd happily come back!
20 June 2022 13:27
Had an amazing experience today at chucke cheese’s, good food and even better service 10/10! The male employee with the glasses, we wish we remembered your name but thank you for making our experience one to remember! <3
25 May 2022 23:13
Our kids first time there ages 9 and 10 and visiting from Ottawa and they loved it! A lot of fun and we opted for pay for time play and it was as many games they wanted to play for entire hour, great value.
20 May 2022 15:21
Omg! My daughter and I love playing the video games here we have such a good time and there pizza is muahhhh! Only thing is it costs an arm and a leg.
07 May 2022 19:14
It was fun for kids. Place was clean and tidy. Staff was friendly and helpful in getting answers as it was our first time at a Chuck E. Cheese. In addition to the video games, an indoor play area would have made it a perfect place for kids. Food is a little expensive but fresh and tasty.
01 May 2022 16:06
Spring break for my son. I hear every single day “Chuck E Cheese Chuck E Cheese” so my husband and I finally make the trip. We drive all the way from Montreal to give my son his dream visit to Chuck E Cheese.

Pizza was amazing and well worth the price. From when we entered to when we left, the store manager named Noah had us totally taken care of. He even went to get Chuck E so my son could take some pictures together for memories. He was so patient!

We got him the collectable cup which is no meaning for us other than the memory, but Noah gave my son a Chuck E stuffy to celebrate our first visit to this place. AMAZING! Give this man a raise!
30 April 2022 22:21
Clean, newer and large venue. Not too crowded, great for parents who are concerned with covid. Servers do not wear masks to serve food, which concerned us a little but they gladly put on a mask when asked.
06 April 2022 5:27
Awesome location, I started to think there are no clean Chuck e cheese locations. Very clean and decent crowd I tooky kids there in March break but still was not too busy
02 April 2022 3:29
Fun for the kids for sure. Monday to Thursday, you get an extra 30 minutes when you buy 1 hour or more. I hope they don't have any temporary out of services machines.staff is very friendly and energetic.
02 April 2022 2:17
Nice place for fun with kids they can enjoy there time they got lota of games place is big nice and tidy you have food option as well there you can either choose between time or points to play game for 30 min is like 16 plus tax you can play unlimited games but for card you have to pay 2 dollar extra for the for the first time you can take kids there for fun activities nice place for families to visit.
27 March 2022 23:52
Haven't been here due to COVID in over 1 ½ years. Pizza was never too rated, but it has certainly dropped down even further. Stuff crust with cheese barely had any cheese, just alot of dough.
20 March 2022 7:17
A few of those games kept breaking down and way toooooooooo many people. Felt like everyone in Whitby was there that day.
08 March 2022 18:22
Good place to spend 1-2 hours with kids. They are now open for general public at Whitby location, new rules - need to take a picture of family going in/out and no food/drinks allowed from outside.
28 December 2021 12:10
Fun Boo-tacular event! Costume contest and was fun being dressed up. Fun haunted house dance party! Great warm cookie dessert. My daughter had a great time.
08 December 2021 3:16
Chuck E Cheese is clean all the games were working & my 6yr old had a blast. A little pricey but the smile n joy on his face made it all worth it.
15 November 2021 5:32
Kids friendly. Staffs are super nice. Place is being maintained very clean. They check temperature in the entry. Had a nice time. Food tastes delicious.
06 November 2021 3:08
Very expensive for food and games. Although there is a good selection of games to play, it looks a bit like an arcade game graveyard. Pizza was really good but was around $30 for a medium pepperoni, no drinks. At the end I was really disappointed with the prizes. The basic prizes consisted of pencils or small figurines or blank note pads. We had 4 people playing for an hour and only had enough points for the basic level, no chance of getting any type of stuffed animal or toy.
27 October 2021 9:33
We were there for almost 4 hours and in that time frame did not see a single employee sanitizing anything. Won't go back.
22 September 2021 13:48
Lots of people today. People don't social distant. Some machine are closed to male more rooms. Tickets don't come out anymore. Now it is etickets. Do go to their website to get coupon. There was a ctowd at the entrance. I has to ralk to the manager. They need to train their staff better to manage crowds.
24 August 2021 23:52
Changing my review. Had a birthday party here a little over a week ago and it was AMAZING! We weren't rushed. Our hostess was great and took care of all our needs.

They didn't have the balloons that were included in our birthday package but compensated us with extra tickets for a prize.
23 August 2021 21:53
Lots of fun, a little expensive but nice to get out and have some normalcy again.

The staff were continuously cleaning which was nice to see.

The ability to buy minutes instead of credits was great, kids had a blast being able to play every game in the place.
11 April 2021 5:16
We can't wait for reopening always a great time. We went for the Halloween and winter event and the treats were just as pictured. The staff at this location have always treated myself and my kids well. Mine are now 9 and 11 and we've been going since my eldest was one. If anything ever went wrong they were always quick to fix it. Such amazing people.
23 January 2021 11:25
Went to Chuck e Cheese at 2 p.m. Today and it was closed. Didn’t find any intimation on the door which would tell me why it is closed and how long will it remain closed. I can see a big brochure though which suggests that it is open.
12 January 2021 1:08
Chcuk r chese is scarey he gived my nightmars when i goed there for my brithday so yea also he isnt a real muse he is fak i saw them chaning in the changerom of chucker cheese
02 February 2019 7:03
Always a fun place for the kids and adults. The pizza is really thin and dry (not enough sauce, cheese).
27 January 2019 18:07
Not the same as it used to. Since they switch the cards it honestly sucks. Little kids don’t understand the concept of swiping once
25 January 2019 6:25
Good deal on price "time" packages for games. Great place for kids. Ask for their bday party package too.
19 January 2019 17:10
Everytime we go there, there is nothing new but the place is so friendly that you want to keep going back with your child.
11 January 2019 0:32
After they got rid of the coins, we tried going and it was not worth the money at all.half the games you got to play for the same price as we used to with coupons.

I have to say though.they have redeemed themselves with offering the options of playing by the hour! THAT is worth it.

They also have SO many new games to play!

I'd also like to say that they offer sensory friendly from 9am to 11am on every 1st Sunday of the month! That's when we go as my son is autistic and he loves going there, but it is so overwhelming during normal hours.
10 January 2019 21:54
Used to go here almost weekly, but we hadn't been here for a while since the prices were doubled.
We decided to try it again when we found out about unlimited play. It was a totally different experience. Extremely fun and pretty intense. We thoroughly enjoyed our one hour play.
The only issue I had was that the experience perfectly mimics gambling. For this reason it is not something I would do too often.
10 January 2019 5:05
Overpriced extremely busy. Half of our pizza had no cheese and was dry. I don't know how someone could mess up on pizza so bad. I thought the card would be good but in reality it literally lasted 5-6 games and it was over in 10 minutes! I felt so bad for my son he didn't get to play many games and we got terrible pizza. It's so sad because he really loves chucky cheese. But I'm so unimpressed I'm never going back again. The bathrooms are also filthy dirty tables are dirty they didn't even clean it when they brought my food: (and they were very rude to me!
07 January 2019 11:51
Ride timings are 30-45 seconds which sucks. It should be increased. Its not a good value of money. Have complained couple of times but no improvement
06 January 2019 5:14
Everyone that has a brain on top of their shoulder should realize that this place makes kids on track to be serious gamblers later on in life. Bringing my kid for the first time, analyzing the reaction to all the simulation in the environment I knew instinctively something was wrong. I will never go back and dissuade anyone from participating. I do give 2 star instead of 1 for the brilliant business model. Some people thinks its the best thing. That's just not how I plan to raise my kids. No casino future for you kiddo.
01 January 2019 22:51
Looking for all the fun of casino but don’t want to drive out to Ajax? Mr. Cheese’s is the place for you! It’s got the bright lights, cha-chinging of coins, and the funky carpets that got you hooked to the one-armed bandito in the first place. Plus, it’s kid friendly! So they can gamble their little hearts out right beside you!

You can even get an unlimited play pass and play any game as much as you want and not worry about running out of coins. It’s kind of like a credit card but your wife wont question where that $782 went at the downs.

Pro-tip: If you have the unlimited play pass play the machine in the photo, it’s probably the only way to beat the house.
23 December 2018 9:19
*VERY* expensive! Pizza is okay, not worth the money, but the refills on the drinks are free.

The kids love it, so yay to that, but be prepared to spend a lot of money.

Free parking, no wifi, and it's very noisy.

I'd give 2.5 stars. I doubt I'll be back.
16 December 2018 17:44
Great place to have a party for the kids, expensive of course but worth it to see the smiles on their faces!
12 December 2018 19:09
Your pricing model has tripled. $25 use to buy me enough games for the day now I'd be done in less than 1 hour. $25/h is really expensive.
19 November 2018 3:10
Where a kid can be a kid. However we didn't like the new card point system over the coins. Takes away from the arcade type atmosphere and feeling.
18 November 2018 23:41
It was a nice place to take the little one. A bit pricey if you don't have coupons or go on a day with a special.
17 September 2018 12:40
We had my son's birthday here today as we have many times in the past. I was looking forward to having 12 kids total and that they could play for two hours.

Things have changed at Chuck E Cheese since last year. They have now replaced the coins with RFID cards. Each child is given a card with a certain number of points on it to play games. What they don't tell you though is that if that child scans the card more than once it will continue to take points from the card even though they only play once.

For example. One of the kids came up to me after about 20 mins of play time and told me his card was empty. I went and checked the transactions on the card and it showed that he had played a single game ten times in two minutes. Ten times. It would be impossible for this child to play this game ten times in two minutes. When I approached one of the workers at the restaurant he said that he would put the points back on the kids card but that I was advised to stay with the child so they didn't keep swiping.

I told him how ridiculous that was as I was hosting the party, ten kids were dropped off and how was I expected to be present with every child at that part. He said that this is why they recommend that the children get the unlimited pass. Well of course they do. They know this is a problem and the unlimited pass earns them more money.

I don't know about you but I budget for my child's birthday party. I have a number in mind that I am willing to spend and this "option" would have put me well over.

I further stated that these were children using these cards and the manager again said that is why we recommend the unlimited package. So you know this is a problem and the only way to manage this is for me to either buy the unlimited package or take each of the 11 kids in my party hand in hand and all go the machines together.

Additionally. We chose the 11 am on Sunday time slot for this party. Chuck E Cheese opens at 11 am on a Sunday. Thus is the time slot we always choose. Before, when there were coins, when we got there the coins would be on the table and the kids could begin playing right away. Today we wasted 15 - 20 minutes waiting for them to load the cards. The kids were just standing around watching other kids play while we waited.

I don't know about you but wasting 16% of my 2 hour party time waiting for them to get the cards for the kids was very upsetting.

When we got the cards I gave them out to the children and literally within the first 20 minutes kids were coming up to me saying that their cards were empty. When I checked multiple cards they all have the issue of the machines deducting multiple play credits for one game. I didn't have the time to run around and bring each child to the machine to get their points corrected so instead I ran around and told the children to swipe once and then wait. Not only do they know this is an issue but the also failed to inform me that this was an issue so I could help educate the child before they started playing. Again, something they know about but have no solution to correct.

Finally, we sat at our table waiting for pizzas for ten minutes. The "host" told me that this was because they were so buys that they didn't have the pizzas ready. I told her that we were a party, we had booked in advance, and that we should have been served with priority over the drop in guests. She said they were just not prepared for this many people and that they had too many parties going on. I told her that was a problem then as they do this all the time and they should understand the limits of their ability to properly take care of a party and should not allow so many to book at one time.

When the pizzas finally did come (only two of the four we should have had) they were covered in grease. Literally pooling. I was dabbing it off with napkins.

I will never give another dollar to Chuck E Cheese and I truly urge anyone reading this post to choose some other organization for your party. Chuck E Cheese is overpriced, unethical and unprepared.
12 September 2018 18:03
It was always expensive but kids had fun, however since the introduction of the playpass you get at best half the play you did before, for example $25 used to get you around 100 tokens and most games were 1 token, now $25 gets you 1000 play tickets and all machines are between 20 and 45 tickets, if you play only 20 ticket ones that's only 50 games, so at best you get half the play. The only good thing about the system is you can transfer leftover play tickets to another card. Chuck E Cheese was always a rip off but now they've gone too far with it.
15 August 2018 8:15
Chuck E Cheese has recently changed the way you can play their games. It now costs more than before to play, you get less tokens, and the prizes cost more. Very disappointed with the new system. It's no longer a good or cheap option for a day out with the kids.
02 August 2018 12:01
Great place to take the kids. If you have a group of 4kids or more make it a party and get 2hours unlimited play per kid, and food It's a great deal.
30 July 2018 1:14
We were a bit disappointed with our experience hosting a birthday party here. We arrived and were brought to our table at about 10 minutes before the party started.
We waited until 5 minutes past the start of the party (between welcoming the parents and keeping the kids settled as they had no tokens and were getting anxious) to ask someone to help us.
We were told we had a party host that would be meeting us at the table. I asked if she could go find her since the party started five minutes ago. At about 15 minutes past the start of the party we were “found” (at our table).
So I’m already annoyed that the we lost 15 minutes of our party.
The host then begins to tell me that the package I purchased will have the children running out of tokens and I should upgrade. I bought the base package. I asked why it was even offered if it isn’t even sufficient for a party? She told me this is my last chance to upgrade and they’ll get about 15 minutes of play time only if I don’t.
I didn’t upgrade. The tokens were out about in time for the pizza but she was right.we could have used more.
We then get our cards and bracelet for the birthday child. Within 5 minutes my youngest (4) lost his card. Obviously. It’s just a card, nothing to keep it to him.
I search for and find our party host and am told the bracelets are only for the upgraded package, I would have to pay 1$ for each bracelet.
Chuck E Cheese called me a few days before the party. I specifically asked the differences between the packages by the way and wasn’t aware of this. What kind of kid wouldn’t lose a card in this environment that isn’t attached to them?
I was then made to feel like I was being done a HUGE favour by having the card replaced and told numerous times they aren’t suppose to.
When she brought me my new card I was told the manager told her I was not allowed anymore refunds. I found this insulting.
I was also surprised that your child is essentially sharing his party with 5 or 6 other birthday party’s. The show, happy birthday song ect is all combined.
If I did a party here again I would buy the full package. They shouldn’t offer any others. It’s a great place to have a party I just feel like it’s very unorganized. I was asked to arrive 10 minutes early and having not been greeted until the children and parents of those children had been sitting around for 15 minutes was a huge aggravation. And then to be made to feel like I was the annoying one for losing a play pass.
It isn’t worth doing a party here if you don’t pay for the full package and your host doesn’t stay with you at all. If you need them you have to search for them while watching a bunch of kids on a sugar high.
I also tried to get ahold of the actual store to review the party and it’s a call centre situation.
I also asked questions in the comment section when registering for the party which was never responded to.
23 July 2018 22:58
Not what it used to be. Over priced, and now they got rid of the coins, I stead you need to purchase a card for the kids to play games but they raised the price for games.
30 June 2018 5:01
Kids love it. A tad pricey for what you get. I'm not a fan of the new bracelet system.seems to cost more to play games.
15 June 2018 4:07
Son enjoyed everything
Live mouse shows very energetic environment awesome for kids not so much for adults. But the enjoyment of watching your kids go nuts makes it all worth while. Next year we are holding our son's birthday party here:)
29 May 2018 10:13
I usual visit this location during the day on a week day so its super quiet and super clean. Staff are amazing. I will say however that Iam extremely disappointing at the price hike. I spent almost $200 and it only lasted 2 hours. Usually that amount would last me double the time. I will now only be going to Nebs World. More bang for your buck!
27 May 2018 7:20
Staff looked like they all wanted to die. Maybe working at Chuck E cheese's is not your dream job but you're working with kids and are supposed to excite them and dance with them!
29 April 2018 2:06
Food is bad.the place isnt clean and its just a money grabber for parent. I remember going as a kids a thinking that the game are boring and they still are. Plus u gonna spend over 50$ in game get a bag full of ticket. And only gonna end up having a 2 $ prize.
