We tried twice to book with 20 people with our dinner club and they wanted $125 just to make the reservation. I went to the Bar the day and time we wanted and the place was almost empty. Spoke with the manager asking why we had to pay just to sit in the place and she responded the owner wants the fee and that's it. We've been going else where, Chuck's must have it good. Won't see any of us again and we'll spread the word.
Have you tried calling them or making reso through OpenTable? Good luck Chuck! Edit: as they have a wrong number listed, no wonder you can’t reach them. Since then, i had many meals there and am very happy with food and service.
Home of the "almost full beer", need to take down the bottle display in the center so the bartender does not have a hiding place to play on his phone. Could be a much better place,
Olivia is great during the weekdays but unfortunately gets some really loud and drunk customers who drive other people away. She knows who I am talking about. Too many cosmos. Red and Brayden make a good Saturday combo!
Wonderful night eating half price apps with my girlfriend! We always get the Nachos and they are always delicious! Our server was Daniel and he was great and the Chef was Josh who did a masterful job!
Went in to dine today and very disappointed in their food. My husband had peppercornsteak with mashed potato. Mine was lamb chop. My daughter had marinara pasta. His peppercornsteak arrived rare (he wanted medium) and covered with cheese? Like why you cover cheese on steak? Mashed potato tasted like it is made out of powder mash. My lamp chops were very salty and had not taste at all. Fries were dry and hard. Even my kid's pasta were just awful! I mean value was good but it tasted like Mcdonald version of a restaurant. Never ever go there again!
My husband and I were in town for a doctor's appointment we looked for a chucks because we have never been disappointed until tonight the manager delivered our meals my stake was like charcoal my lobster was over cooked and rubbery my husband burger was burnt we waited over an hour I sent my food back ordered a beer for my husband and water for me 20 min later we still didn't have our refills ended up ordering apps and paid full price for everything the manager never even came back to our table
Great prices.but service wasnt the greatest they forgot our appatizers I had to say somthing and we got it at the end of our meal. Also my corn was freezing cold and had to send it back. Looks like a cool place prices are good but as a first experience wasnt impressed.
Not sure if I am going back or not. Went in last night and ordered a med rare steak. Came to me very well done and burned. Sent it back and got my new one and it was cooked medium. They apologized and said the cook is new and in training. WHAT? But my server was super and I left her a good tip. Wasn't her fault they hired a cook that doesnt know how to cook.
Had a great time. Good food. Great service. Was served at the bar by amanda and elysia. The prices are out standing. Two pounds and a pitched on a thursday was 23 dollars.unheard of!
Have been there a couple times now and the atmosphere is amazing and can't beat the prices. Met the GM Michelle my last visit and she was very friendly and made me and my friend feel at home. I have worked in the industry for a long time and can see this location we be fine with her as a leader. Will for sure be back again
Since their grand opening, service has been declining drastically. Today was the worst experience I have had to date. Waited for 15 mins for someone to come take my order. Once I brought it to management's attention I was greeted with attitude. Not professional at all. Rest assured I left without spending a dime and will have to think hard about returning for a while. Eating there since open, I have experienced poorly cooked food, some unfriendly staff and other issues. I guess you get what you pay for. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Not the first time.
Always great food and great prices. Consistency and service are always great for such a large establishment. The supervisor Lorraine and my server Bella are fantastic.
Thought we would try something new, and so happy we did. Chuck's Roadhouse in Burlington has GREAT food, AWESOME staff, and AMAZING prices. We will definitely be going back.
Been in a few times now (2 times for lunch and 2 times for dinner) and the food and service is great.however.the music is so loud that you can't hear yourself think never mind have a conversation with the person you are with. It seemed to keep getting louder and louder throughout our meal when we asked our server if something could be done about it she said unfortunately no that's Chuck's Roadhouse policy. That was the only part that was disappointing. Won't go back after 7 again will have to go in earlier when I can still hear a conversation.
Since the day 1 that my husband brought me here.it was fantastic and amazing. Why because the place the food and staff.its so nice, but the most of all why we are always to come here it's because the lovely amazing gorgeous and down to earth Manager Michelle Bradley. She's so loving and nice.she feel you that you are a family. The way she treat us from the table that you sit down, the food the drinks.oh my it's so good. We feel at that you are in your own place. So guys keep it up and Michelle congratulations! To all your hard working and relationship to your staff, we salute you and CONGRATULATIONS! See you next time
Visited Chucks tonight for the third time! Excellent steaks and can’t beat the price for both food and beers. Michelle the GM was amazing. Made sure that our food was perfect and checked in numerous times to make sure we were happy with everything and were having a great time.
Went for the first time on a Thursday night. Food was good and reasonably priced. Drinks also reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and accommodating. But OMG was it ever loud and there wasn't even an important game going on. It definently has the roadhouse atmosphere. Will I go again? With earplugs no problem.
You cant beat the quality of the food at these prices and the service is always awesome. I wouldnt mind though if they would turn the music down during early afternoon hours. It makes it a little hard to talk.
My family and I recently visited the Burlington location for dinner. We were promptly seated and then greeted by our server.
I ordered the bacon-wrapped Chuck's cut, rare with fries. The first time it came out, it was very, very charred on top. When I flipped it over to check out the other side, my steak had been cut into (almost all the way through), presumably to check the temperature. I have NEVER in my life, ordered a steak at a restaurant, and had it cut into to check for temperature. Most restaurants use a meat thermometer, or the seasoned cooks can tell by touch.
I asked for my steak to be redone, minus the char. It took 15+ minutes (which seems a little excessive for a rare steak with fries) but I did get my re-fired steak in time to eat with my family. It wasn't charred like the first one, but to my disappointment, there was a large cut on the underside of this steak as well. It didn't change the taste at all, so I guess I shouldn't complain - it was only $14 after all.
Overall the experience was okay - in this case it's true, you get what you pay for - which is the main thing going for this place.
First I should say the servers were super nice. I gave this place 3 chances, but they lost me. The food takes forever to be brought out. My lingest wait was 80 minutes and it wasnt until we were about to leave yhat we were told that the kitchen was backed up. It would have been bery helpcul to know this earlier. The other times we still waited over 30 minutes to get our food and we Ordered stanfard burgers. Not steaks. When I did order a steak it was overdone. Then there is the environment, the music is so loud my small group couldn't carry a conversation, plus the place was freezing. I woukd definately call this place cheap but in my opinion not worth it.
Really good food for such so cheap! Unbelievably affordable, because it just opened it's a wee bit understaffed but all the waitresses are very friendly and nice. Best quesadilla I've ever had and I was not expecting that at all for 12$. Ligit great place
It was my first time going to Chuck's and I have to say it was a wonderful experience. The food tasted great and the staff was very friendly. I loved the atmosphere and the vibe.
3rd Chuck's Roadhouse that we've been to. Another great location! Food was great. Service was friendly. Expect a bit of a wait as these places are always busy and it takes time to prepare thick steaks like the ones served here. You'll most likely agree that it's worth the time! Especially for the price! Thanks to the staff for the great outing!
Okay, it just opened, but the staff is still tremendously inexperienced and overwhelmed. Just went for drinks so can't comment on the food. I was told you can't get wings without breading, nor the ribs with just a dry rub instead of bbq sauce. This indicates to me that a lot of the food is brought into the kitchen already premade. For a place that specializes in meat, low-carb or gluten-free friendly it is not. The atmosphere was okay, plenty of room at the bar. However the entire time we were there two toddlers were screaming bloody murder in the dining area and not one server or manager had the guts to talk to the family. All the patrons seemed very uncomfortable about the noise. Won't be coming back until they've had a year or so to get into a groove.
Came to chucks last week and it was PERFECT. Service was quick and the roast beef sandwich tasted absolutely phenomenal ️️. Big thanks to our server Maddie (better knows as muggs) she made our experience a great one and we will be back! ️️️ Cheers!

Ate here for the first time tonight and it was pretty sick. All the staff was lovely and we were offered free dessert because we waited around 30-40 minutes for our burgers. Would definitely go again! Also Renee was the best!
First time trying the Burlington location. The guys had the hamburgers and the wife had the chipotle pulled pork. The pulled pork could use a little more sauce but the rest of the meal was great. Our server Maddie was fantastic and helped make the outing fun. The only down size was the volume, hard to hear across the table. We will be back.
Went with a friend to Chucks on opening night a couple weeks back, as well as last night to give it another shot. Our first experience was horrible as the food took over 30 minutes to come out and when it did arrive, it tasted freezer burnt and/or over cooked. We ordered a burger, loaded fries and steak. The service was sub-par.
Our experience last night was very similar. Decent service, but our sandwich buns were hard as a rock and the fries were freezer burnt once again. When we informed our server, she was very polite and explained that almost all of the kitchen staff did not have prior experience and their was only 1 corporate cook and 1 head chef. Obviously they can't be in everyday, however they need to share there knowledge and experience with others.
Our server was very apologetic and said that they have been getting a lot of food returned to the kitchen because the lack of experience in the kitchen. The manager comped us for one meal. All of this was handled professionally, but I will not be returning as the food is very disappointing.
I would not recommend dining at Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill in Burlington.
Have been there numerous times since they opened. Beer prices are the best in town. Rib day (today) was an incredible deal. Shannan and Olivia are the best servers. Michelle the manager was attentive. Did they opening snags. Yes. But they recovered well. I'll be back.
I had the half rack of ribs (delicious) for my first of many times at Chuck's Roadhouse. The waitstaff were friendly and checked in many times during our meal on Father's Day. The food took a long time to make it to our table but it was very busy and the quality of the food was definitely worth the wait.
Food was okay, you get what you pay for. After two of the hostess and the front of the house manager (she was helping the hostess seat customers) checked our buzzer, we still waited for almost an hour. When I finally complained, they told me that they’ve been looking for us. What? ! 3 people checked our buzzer and didn’t find us, how does that make sense? Even after the front of the house manager was informed about the mix-up, she proceeded to seat 2 other group of people rather than prioritizing us. Anyways, while waiting for our table, I observed that they prioritized groups of people with more than 2 people. Instead of breaking tables and following the sequence of who got there first, they look for the largest parties and seat customers that way. How do I know this? We weren’t the only group of 2 that has been waiting for a table that’s been there for quite a while. Food was okay, however I felt that the front of the house manager didn’t care to resolve their error. Noone apologized and rather she decided to ignore the issue even though it was brought to her attention by seating other groups of people. We won’t be going back and I suggest if you’re going to this restaurant go as a group.
We decided to give them another chance, as our first time experiencing them was on opening night - and that was terrible. Tonight we ordered sandwiches, mine being a hot roast beef & his a Montreal meat. The wait wasn't too bad, the server was kind. However, the food was just as bad as the first time. My sandwich bun had been over toasted and turned rock hard after sittiing on the table for a couple minutes. I poked the buns to see just how hard, they crumbled as if I was trying to make homemade croutons. My food went back entirely. But we weren't the only ones sending back. The manager was actually walking around asking how it was, to which I got too angry and had to leave. My friend explained to the server and they comped what they could. But we won't be going back after paying for cheap frozen fries and subpar dishes.
Great prices, good food, slowww service. No checks backs and she barely came to our table. I found it very loud and hard to have a conversation. New restaurants always have to work out the kinks. I’ll give it another try.
