Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill

Went in to chucks for lunch on Saturday. I sat there for 15 plus minutes. No waitress stopped to get me a drink or take my order. Very disappointed. I walked out no one said a thing.

It's a miracle this place hasn't had the labour board come in. The way the manager Ahmed treats the wait staff IN FRONT of customers is atrocious, not to mention he was scooping out over full urinals with a plastic drink cup when I went to relieve myself.
Wait staff is always friendly and cheery, which is a stark contrast from how they're treated.

Great place to chill out, watch the hockey game and enjoy drinks. Big screen TV's everywhere.

Our server is always polite and our steaks are always cooked to perfection I have to say there's Caesar salad is one of the best I've ever it was absolutely perfect with the amount of dressing

I had the Rib eye steak twice You can't get better steak One of the best steaks I've ever had.

Food was good but not at all happy about the 'honest to goodness' fee! I'm tired of going out and feeling like I'm getting gouged everywhere I go! So I'm sorry but that honest to goodness fee came out of the waitress' tip. I realize it's not a big fee but it just really bothered me. I'm just not going out to eat anymore cause I can't win no matter where I go. And yes I did give it 4 stars cause everything else was pretty good. Just had to vent about that fee

If I could give more than a 5 star review for the food, I would, best garlic bread and wings ever! But I don’t like when our waitress forgets about our table and doesn’t check in on us at all unless we flag her down and then we have to find her to get our bill… also I got a full view of our waitresses panties like 5 times at least, I was unaware before today that there was a bottoms version of hooters.

Dirty, was put at a dirty table and when asked it to be cleaned she wiped it with a napkin then asked me if that was ok. I'm sorry but these times we're in I don't think a wipe with a dry napkin is "good"

Went here for the first time. Was having a great time till they came out with my veggie burger, which then put me in a mood; They put a sad face on my veggie burger. Ruining the mood and atmosphere of the group.thanks.
Price was good as any Chuck's road house, but the staff treatment, not good at all.

Was way better as Crabby joe’s! The food is ok but they don’t have many options. I do not recommend the steak.

Went for dinner. Ordered the chicken and ribs. Chicken was dry, ribs were not good at all. My friend had the steak it was good and the chicken quesadilla was very good. It was packed and the noise level was just to much. Service was great! I won't be going back.

Great food, waitress was quick but too quick cause they were so busy, and it was pretty loud but over great time good experience.

Ordered to pick up thru Skip. Time tracker was excellent. Very busy night inside. Picked up what was to be my order and when I arrived home found out was completely different order. Called and they asked if I would come back. Went back to get me order and was assured by the waitress it was made again fresh. When I got home (4mins) away it was all completely cold and gravy for the fries was missing. Very disappointed!

We were here a few weeks ago and did not tip and received dirty looks from the server. We just came back today and ended up with the same server who did not welcome us and we were not treated great and it seems it’s because she remembers us from a few weeks ago. We waited around for over a half an hour to pay for our bill while she stacked chairs and reset tables for the next day. Glad she’s doing her late night duties but I find it pretty rude that she just left us sitting there.

We would have liked for the server to check on us in a more timely manner. But we also understand they had a big crowd, so it was busy

We were visiting Chatham from Toronto this past weekend. Our go to is Chuck's so when we saw there was a Chuck's we had to go for lunch. Honestly it was by far the best Chuck's we have been too! The food quality was great as was the service from Munchie Mike! My husband and son both got burgers. I ordered the Buffalo chicken quesadilla, and I was surprised when it came. It was fully loaded. I could only eat half of it. We actually came back later in the evening for 1/2 price apps and were again blow away by the food quality. We got the steak bites & wings. I find the steak bites at our Chuck's in Mississauga to be very tough and bland. They were so good at the Chatham location that we ordered a second order!

Takeout was delicious! Perfectly cooked steak FROM TAKEOUT. That's impressive! Everything was great!

My wife and I had a nice dinner at Chucks I Chatham. Pricing was was quite fair. Be happy to go back.

My wife and I ate here on Dec 3,2022 @ around 11-11: 45 am.
We were seated quickly, had our drinks immediately and we were served our food very quickly.

My wife and I both ordered "The big chuck" burger and fries.

At the start my burger was great about half way through i noticed what I thought to be pink meat. I figured it was the lighting as the lights are very dim. I continued to eat my burger about 2-3 bites left I looked down to see the raw burger not pink but raw. I stopped eating and told my wife, My wife had half her burger left at this point and she stopped eating after seeing how raw the inside of my burger was at this point.

A man who I believe is the "manager" or "owner" came around and asked how things were, I said honestly? And I showed him the remaining part of my burger which was raw and very under cooked. He told me that he would let his staff know. He took it to the cook, I heard the cook spout out about it and the man then returned and said at least it was "prime rib burger" and then turned to my wife and said you still plucking away and she said no not after seeing his burger. When you order a burger at any establishment you expect it to be cooked properly. Unless stated otherwise in the menu as I have seen at other burger restaurants. Regardless if this is a real "Prime rib burger" or not every burger should be cooked the exact same to the exact same internal temperature. My wife's burger was properly cooked and had no pink at all let alone raw burger meat.

For a manager to come pat me on the back and say at least it was prime rib so you wont get sick and not take my concern seriously is disgraceful for any establishment, We were not offered a discount, free meal or even a sincere apology.

Questions to "Chucks Roadhouse"
Was this burger or any other burgers in your restaurant internal temps checked before serving? The min internal temp should be 140 for a medium burger let alone a normal typical burger should have an internal temp of at least 160-165.

What kind of remedies are going to be put in place so this doesn't happen to another person?

Honest to goodness fee! A bland experience followed by a rip off. I will never go back to this chain. Dishonest, devious and sleazy.

French fries were not freshly cooked, they were dark and limp, tasted like old fries recooked, very disapointng.

Worst service I've ever gotten tonight and have been here many times already. Been to many different chucks roadhouses litteraly go to one 2 times a week minimum.this was the worst place I've been to. Shame on the staff

Perfect space for gathering with your friends or family after the game or for watching the pro's on the big screen. Great pricing and value.

The chairs where we were seated were very uncomfortable. They didn't even have it set up for the reservation we had. Had to wait for that. And the fish dinner I ordered could have been alo hotter. All in all I wasn't impressed.

The food is very reasonably priced. Great atmosphere and Makayla aways makes us feel welcome and comes straight to us soon as we sit down. She is very friendly, her smile is so welcoming. She is an absolute sweetheart and our favorite waitress. We love coming here:)

It's basically a steak house/ boys club. Went in for lunch with my aunt and it was packed with noisy men and the menu is pretty much steak, steak and steak lol. If it's a steakhouse maybe they should advertise that. Just saying

Very slow to get your order and very slow for food to come. Waited an hour for both. Very disappointing and horrible expirience.

I have had Chucks in other cities and hated it. The one in Chatham hits differently. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. Our server was wonderful. Place was clean and well designed for safety during covid times. Reasonably priced. 10/10

First our waitress was awesome. Our food was amazing. My mom loved as we celebrated her 75th birthday.

First time there since it changed from Crabby Joe's. Much nicer. Music not so loud. Atmosphere nicer. Great place to meet friends. Had the loaded fries. Yummy

Went to Chucks Roadhouse today and ordered the bacon wrapped filet mignon. Had one bite and the meat was spoiled. There was a taste and smell of rotting meat. I will not be returning to this restaurant. I have concerns about their kitchen practices.

It was not very busy however the service itself was excellent. My issue was with my food. It seemed to have it delivered rather quickly considering it was a full rack of ribs however I don't feel they were anything close to fall off the bone type of ribs. I rather had to chew them off the bone. My poutine was great but rather small in a bowl and did I say the service was excellent? Yes those stars are for the service that's for sure.

Sauce isn't cooked with the meat it is added after. Not the same flavours because it doesn't go into the meat. Fish had several bones in it. My son got one stuck in his tongue. Lucky he was able to pull it out and showed me and his brother.

Always have good food here. Prices are good for just about everything.
This is a family favorite for a quick night out

Their food was so good that we went back there for dinner the next night too. My steak was cooked (med rare) to perfection. I had the chicken wings the next night and they were big and crispy, which I love. I've eaten at the one in London a couple of times too, and it also was delicious, despite my daughter getting an overcooked lobster tail. They cooked her another one for her that was perfect. Great food at great prices.

First time visiting. Bar choices were very limited, maybe lockdown residual, I don't know. Prices and menu on par for your run of the mill chain restaurant. Nothing outstanding.

I have been here twice. The service and food was exceptional the first time; however, the second time we were actively ignored for 20 minutes while other people who came after us were taken care of. I even tried getting the attention of the young lady who seated us and she didn't respond, so we left. I'm giving 2 stars because our first time was a good experience, however we will not be back.

The first time I was at Chuck's Roadhouse was just last week and I would have give it a five star today on a Thursday I got the same Burger and I got a the kids meal Burger and I would say that both of them are overcooked and taste a little burnt but my wife's fish and chips were good I expect a place that's charge an extra 3%for freshness should at least know how to cook the food

Food was great, however got there late (patio seating only due to the pandemic) and the mosquitoes were horrible. Pretty much had to eat really quick so I can go home and away from the mosquitoes

I’ve gone a few times over the last week. Service varies each time. Last night was the worst service I’ve had in a while. Item were forgotten several times, mosquitoes were horrible and the manager had poor customer service and was very unfriendly. They were clearly understaffed which reflects more on management than it did our server who had several tables to herself.

This place is amazing. They have amazing steaks. I tried their new york steak and it taste so good.

The food was excellent and the service was promp, server cordial, friendly and helpful. She knew her stuff. Will be back.

The Buffalo chicken sandwich was pretty meh, but the $5 scooner I won't complain about. The garden salad was half decent too. Very friendly staff.

We were at Chucks in Chatham on Friday March 12th at around 12pm or so. The service we got here was fantastic they went above and beyond to make you feel comfortable in these crazy times we are in now. Food was hot fresh and delicious. I will say this is one of the best Chucks I been to by far. Thank you to everyone at this location for the amazing great food and service you provided you have been noticed.

Horrible manager! Extremely rude to us while waiting to be seated at front door, didn't even stay to eat, made a complaint to other manager and left.

Food was great! Service was swift, portions were modest and the price is on point! Awesome spot overall!

Wasn't busy so we were seated right away. Food and service was mediocre at best. Ordered a coffee and when it arrived with no cream was told "we don't have any" asked for some milk then I was brought a little condiment side bowl with milk. The fries were hotter than my steak. A 3% fee/surcharge was added to my bill with no explanation. Was not impressed. Needless to say we will not be heading back there anytime soon. I would have enjoyed fast food drive thru better than what I got from there.

Great food and service. The downsides are the booths are not very big so it's tough when you have big boned family it is tough to fit comfortably. As well the prices look good but they have a mandatory fee called the honest to goodness fee, this makes the cost for from a really good price to about the normal cost.
