Amazing service but unfortunately got food poisoning from the burger which really knocked me out for the weekend.

Went there today to enjoy some apps and drinks with two friends when all of a sudden a not so nice cockroach decided to walk along table heading to my plate. Totally disgusted by the creature who I killed and called over to the server, gave her the dead bug and that was it. No apology, no manager coming over to apologize. Just the bill. One of our favorite places to enjoy dinner but can honestly tell you I don't know when I will be back.

OK. So I ordered nachos as well as fries loaded. It was extremely affordable, and the waitress was so friendly. The vibe was a little grungy, but it was Hamilton, so I was not expecting anything differently. It probably made the food taste better. I definitely would go back again. I even had some leftovers for takeout.

We have eaten here on several occasions and have always enjoyed our dinners. Tonight, not so much. My son's steak was cold, but he was worried to send it back in case it was returned too tough. My burger was ok, but the bun seemed to be stale, and my fries soggy, as if they sat under a heat light for too long. The last time both were absolutely delicious. The Caesar salad was amazing though. Not sure if there is a change of staff in the kitchen, but things were very dissappointing tonight. I do need to mention that our waitress tonight was very sweet though.

My first time coming and it took them 20 minutes to even take down my order and a whole hour to get a burger the service was extremely slow people who came after me got their orders before and I had been here a whole hour before, the time I left it was 6: 10 whole staff had switched and new people in the restaurant I’m very disappointed in this visit, don’t think I’ll be making an appearance again

Good food and great deals. Washrooms need to be cleaned, but overall, the establishment is nice. If you want an inexpensive dinner, here it is.

This location routinely closes it’s kitchen 1.5 hours (or more) early whenever they feel like. The bartender is quick to tell guests off and does it with a smile.

Although, I was there this last Saturday July 15th and my friend order a steak medium well. The one she got was a charred Briquette. When she sent it back to the kitchen, the manager came back with it and said “this what you order - this is what you get”. Pretty shocking stuff.

Was at chucks for the first time. Brianne and Lucas were serving.food was cooked to perfection and the service was incredible. I will definitely be coming back.

Service was great compliments as soon as I walked in food is 10/10 would suggest it to anyone and everyone

Have been back to Chucks many a time. The service has gotten 100 % better. Lately our server Brianne has changed my mind on my previous review. Thank you Brianne for your great service. Management has also changed to create a better/ fun environment.

Wednesday ribs and daily burgers or steak when working in the area is fantastic staff always friendly price amazing

Went for lunch with a friend today, the server Brianne was lovely. She made us feel very comfortable and was very attentive to us. Food was delicious, portions were generous and the price was right! Would definitely go back.

Tried Chucks for the first time about a week ago. The place was quiet when we got there and they told us to just pick a table. Dishes and cutlery already sitting on table not a good idea during covid we had no idea how long and who touched them. My friend ordered an 4 cheese dip app, it was so runny and spilled all over the place with no real cheese in it, when she mentioned it to server she said yeah I asked the kitchen to fix it but they didn't and walked away. Her salad had so much dressing on it she couldn't eat it. Again mentioned to the server and she just fumbled over her words and walked away. Not expecting anything for free but an acknowledgment from the manager would have been nice, instead of the two of them whispering and looking at us as we left, which was rude. We won't be back well at least to Centennial location

Love this place! Brianne is always happy and amazing! Great staff, food, management and prices.

Good price to quality ratio. Used to go after 9pm to get 2lbs of wings for ten bucks. The food's been tasty but in more recent trips it's very hit or miss.

I love chucks road house the service is amazing and our family has been coming here since they have open. Paige our waitress was awesome so polite and when out of way to make sure we had everything we needed.
5 stars to her alone and all the wonderful staff.

Friendly staff great food and can't miss the $4 beers on game day and 1/2 price apps everyday after 9pm.
I enjoyed the time very well and close to my house too. Definitely coming back

Tried calling order for pick up from your Centennial Pkwy location in Hamilton this evening. Lady that answered placed us on hold for 10mins. Hung up and called back to hear voicemail not set up. Had to venture to the restaurant to put in order. No apology for the trouble when calling, just fluffed off. We then literally waited for an hour and 40 mins to get our food. A couple staff members apologized as they walked by a thousand times, but no manager ever came over to apologize for the wait or with an offer of a free drink or appetizer, nothing deducted off our bill for our troubles. Get home to eat, all was cold. As you can see we got maybe 2 tablespoons worth of spinach and goat cheese dip with 10 chips, for $12.99! Husband had very little fries with his steak, which were hard and cold. Such bad customer service. Very disappointed for the money we paid and lack of attention. Will not return, to this location at least.

This place is a great! I have tried a few menu items everything has been perfect especially the price!

The food was good. The service was just ok. It took over 10 minutes for someone to come to your table to ask us if we wanted drinks.

The fish was over cooked and dark brown. Got sent back. The wings were suppose to be light in sauce and were cold and arrived swimming in sauce. My ribs and chicken were gooped in sauce. The ribs were tough dry and over cooked. I have yet to get a decent meal. No management around just a bunch of young kids in kitchen that can't cook. Out server was super nice but that's really all I have to say. Won't go back

Today was my families first time at chucks, and we will 100% going back! From the time we were seated, until the time we left I was impressed with everything. Our server, Paige, was the most delightful, funny server I’ve had in awhile- my kids just loved her; she definitely made our trip! We will be telling our riends to check it out; we we’ll definitely be back to see her, and for those to die for ribs keep up the good work guys!

Normally the service is decent and quick, and the food and portions too. Today put me off though. The calamari was a tiny portion and very oily; not worth $11.99. Also, the burgers (which had a half slice of bacon on each) we ordered came after 1 hour and 14 minutes with only 7 individuals ahead of us. The fries were decent however. I'm going to avoid Chuck's here for now seeing how management didn't attempt to make any reparations.instead the server was very apologetic on the behalf of his employer. Oh well, their loss.

The Good! The fries are excellent and we were not charged for the mayo I asked for, which seems to come with a charge at many restaurants these days.

The server was polite and prompt, just seem overwhelmed at being the only one servicing the tables during our time there. As we left more staff was seen hovering.

The not so good!

The burger (Chucks Burger) was overcooked (I know there are temperature rules in Canada) and had a sort of gamey/spongy taste and texture. The tomato and onion didn't seem freshly cut or at least cut for a few hours (or day) before (no big deal?).

We asked for the steak (PEPPERCORN NEW YORK
10OZ. NEW YORK CUT, GOAT CHEESE, CHUCK’S PEPPERCORN SAUCE.) to be cooked (they asked) medium rare, yet it was well done. That said, the server did remove the item off our bill. The topping wasn't all that great as it had a sort of sweetness that did not go well with the steak. And like the burger, there was a weird texture to the beef as if it's been modified with meat tenderizer.

As mentioned above the service wasn't bad, just SLOW.we waited for 45+ mins to get our meal.

I don't believe in "you get what you pay for" (the menu items are cheaper than most spots), as I believe that if you're selling something and YOU determine the price, a level of quality should follow.

Absolutely the worse meal we have ever had. Went labour Day for dinner, first time there. Burgers were as hard as hockey pucks, fish was borderline burnt and hard, onion rings were a joke. Service was horrible. One rating is much too high. Never going back.

Service is a bit slow but reasonably friendly. Steaks were all cooked wrong but the real negative about this place is the other customers. Rude people yelling at staff and random old ladies trying to make friends with your table all night long.

We recently decided to try Chuck’s after hearing positive things from a family member. The first time the food and service was amazing. Our server was extremely attentive and he’d have our drinks refilled before we even had to ask. We were impressed!

Unfortunately, in the two times we’ve returned since, we’ve had some pretty awful experiences. We had the same server both times and I’m not sure if she's new and inexperience or what, but she is quite honestly the worst waitress I have ever been served by. On one visit, she got our order wrong multiple times and argued when we corrected her that she had brought us what we ordered. Someone the chicken wing and ribs combo she interpreted as as appetizer. Then she came back three times to confirm the correct order and still got it wrong. Each time she was corrected, she got belligerent. I’m sure she was frustrated but this wasn’t the way to handle the situation. The food was just okay, at best, this trip.

On our third visit we decided to go after 9 PM for half price appetizers. We had the same waitress as the second visit who was less belligerent but very inattentive. We noticed that this time appetizers were about the half size as they had been previously - apparently half price means smaller portions? Not the end of the world but annoying. But the worst part was when we attempted to order chicken wings. She informed us the restaurant was out of chicken wings (how?) but that they had boneless wings. This wasn’t our preference but we figured what the hell, some restaurants have great boneless wings and ordered them anyway. Big mistake. Friends: boneless wings at this restaurant = chicken nuggets. And not even good chicken nuggets. We seriously wondered if this was a ploy to avoid selling chicken wings at half prize. But they were awful and under no circumstances would you call what we were served ‘boneless chicken wings. ’ Seriously, never order them.

Overall, we’ve been extremely disappointed by Chuck’s. The first visit was amazing and we thought we’d found a great new restaurant to visit. Now we’re ready to write the restaurant off and tell our friends to stay away. Fingers crossed Chuck’s can get it together.

Amazing food and amazing service food was delicious this is first time I go there it was very good experience am going back again soon very friendly workers I recommend don't believe people who say bad things about this restaurant go and check it and the price is very fair and the have very Cold beer and cheep go and enjoy

We ordered 10 oz New York steak, and 1lb chicken wings (honey garlic) over the phone for pickup. The service was nice, but when we got home we are sure the order was mixed up. We got 7 oz top sirloin steak, and chicken wings with bbq sauce on them. Because it was late and we were hungry and at home already, we decided to eat what we got. The food was ok but it was disappointing to get something else then we ordered.
And since we paid almost $40, I assume we paid for 10 oz steak? Receipt was not provided so could not check either. Not sure if we will go back.

My wife and I went to Centennial Dr location for lunch on Sunday. I ordered 12 Oz steak and my wife ordered smokehouse burger. I was asked if I wanted anything else. I said how much for a ceasar salad and was told $1 extra I said ok I’ll have the salad to. When the steak came there were no fries I said what about my fries she said you got a salad instead. I said I wanted a salad as well as the fries. That’s why I asked how much extra for the salad. I spoke to the manager who wasn’t really interested in my complaint. She just kept saying If you want fries you’ll have to pay extra that’s the bottom line. We go out every Sunday for lunch most times with other couples. I’m glad we were by ourselves this time. We won’t be patronizing this establishment again. Besides being humiliated over a $1 order of fries. The steak was very tough and fatty

Worst experience ever! Was Sitting on the patio for almost half hr before someone attended to me, ordered a hamburger & a beer which came 45 min later, no ketchup/mustard bottles, no napkins, no follow up on any drinks. The sad part is the table next to me was serviced three times while I was sitting there. However, the bill came in less then five min.

Finally able to see some friends and we went here. Was a good experience. We mostly were just having drinks but decided to get a few apps as well. I'd heard mixed reviews about the food here but I have to say that it was quite good. The cheese fries were really good and the wings had a decent amount of meat on them. Hot sauce and buffalo sauce were tasty. The server was pleasant and prompt. No doubt because the manager/owner (I'm not sure which she was) checked on us twice to make sure everything was good. Will definitely be back

Took a pick up order the phone, told me 15 mins to come pick up. Gave 20 and waited at the bar another 20 mins. Waited for one of my items not to be available. And would have switched it if told me earlier. Food tasted just ok, not wowed like other Chuck's. Sad to say won't be back.

I am very upset with how we were treated upon arrival we asked if we can be put on a list for next table we were advised that they don't do that as we were right there waiting. 2 girls come next they get seated a table for 4 which could have been us. Waiter so rude no manners I don't think we will go back again called manager all we were told was WE WILL TALK TO HIM like really we wanted a seat to sit an have dinner WE USED TO LOVE CHUCKS. 2ND THINKING

Great prices, decent food thats about all.ordered steak and lobster. Steak even though ordered rare was delivered medium. Had to send it back. Had to send it back. Service was slow. And the 3% fee was ridiculous. 3% isn't about to break the bank but it will make me never return as its not address prior to receiving the bill. Literally will not return die to the extra fee, that amounts to nothing more then 1.47$. Sorry but the honesty goodness tax is not very honest and we will never return due to principal.

5 of us went to lunch on Mon. June 12,2021. My husband ordered steak with a side of mushrooms ($4.00) His steak arrived with 4 pieces of mushrooms. After speaking to the gm (who was helping bring out our order) she brought back a small bowl with a decent amt of mushrooms. My daughter ordered fish & chips, the fish was overcooked and the batter hard. I ordered a half rack of ribs which were extremely tough. I ate 2. After the problem with the mushrooms I didn't feel like I should complain again. Not sure if we would return. I must add that the staff and gm were very polite and friendly

We ordered a porterhouse and a 10oz New York, cooked medium. They brought out dried and burned steaks, cooked way past overdone. The New York was actually a Sirloin, which is worth a lot less. This place has no respect for a steak, and it cost us far more than a typical dinner out by about $20. Never coming back, ever.

Edit (Oct 13) : I did follow up with them and nothing happened. I want my money back. This was not worth paying for!

Edit (Dec 8) : Absolutely no resolution or refund given after following up with them twice. If you are going to spend this kind of money, go almost anywhere else. You will get better food for your money. Tried to give them a shot to own up, but they walked away. You should too.

Orders were plated wrong.we had to take food off of one plate to make the meal right for everyone. There were 4 of us and only 1 got a plate that was correct.the food was cold.when we told the waitress.she said I'll get the manager.however it still remained cold.

Always a good meal, service can be a bit slow but its always worth the wait! (It's not crazy just slighlty slow) Food is delicious well flavoured and in my opinion comparable to the Keg.just sayin" also the lobster is always delicious!

Ordered on skip. The roast beef was like eating a leather bag, I didn't even receive mashed potatoes but I'm sure now that they probably did me a favour by leaving them out. I'm also fairly sure that the au jus is actually the same gravy they use to make dog food, based on smell and consistency. Disgusting.

If i could give a zero star rating i would. It took more then five minutes to be seated and when we finally were seated they were out of ice tea and romaine lettuce. It took 50 minutes without any one letting us know about our order and to see the kitchen staff go on break and them finally tell us it will be out shortly. Worst experience at a restaurant I've ever had. Do yourself a favour and steer clear of this place.

My experience here was very very poor. My sister and I ordered the surf and turf I ordered my steak rare it came way overcooked my lobster tail was mushy and on top we waited over an hour for our meal. On the plus side they have cheap domestics 11: 00 to 5: 00 daily.

I came here with my children and mom. My mom and I ordered steak, my children ordered a ceaser salad, mozza sticks and a burger.after quite the wait and serving a couple who came in after us, I was not happy. Their response was I ordered my steak well done. It took them an hour and a half to bring me our dinner. Btw, my steak was bloody. She apologized and said they were taking the steaks off my bill. I received the bill and there was only a discount on the steak. I was so disappointed as chucks was my favorite dinner in the falls.

If this places closes? Its not because of covid! Tough steak over cooked. Cold fries. Cold gravy. Then get told sorry. Here's a coupon for your next visit! Great response. I'll rush back to use that coupon

We waited to get the menu then the food arrived. The burger looked and was tasty but the fries we awful. Flat tasting not crispy at all. It was like cardboard. The fish and chips was equally lack luster. The fish was well cooked but it wasnt made in house.
