****Update May 6,2023 visit: I made the mistake of going back to this location. First told we couldnt sit on the patio. (Which was all I wanted for my birthday) Then they didn't have crayons for my daughter's menu. (Not a huge deal) My daughter and I waited 10 minutes and no-one brought us drinks. Then my friends showed up, and after another 5 minutes, we left. I cannot believe how disappointing the customer service is at the North Highbury location. Will not return. **** Disappointed with our service today. Our server told me I could not have unlimited Ceasar salad because I shared a few pieces of lettuce with my 7year old daughter and 5 year old foster son. I've never had a problem sharing my salad with my daughter at any other location. Possibly revise your menu and say you cannot share a salad or your meals with your kids? Staff works hard, good table turnover, decent prices. My only complaint there’s no reliable sports sound, specifically for Toronto Maple Leafs games. Some days it seems to “work” according to staff and other times it doesn’t. If your promoting drink specials and the place to be for leafs games, reliable sound would be much appreciated especially when the bar is full of people in hockey attire.
Horrible Horrible Horrible, hair in my food, toast for my chicken clubhouse was rock hard, daughters chicken was so salty she couldnt eat it, seems to be new mangment from what I saw️ filthy floors with old food and dead bugs under our table, I'll never go back nor recommend this place to anyone!

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at your restaurant on Sunday, February 19th. My friend and I visited your establishment at around 10: 45 pm and ordered some beer and food. We went outside for a smoke break and returned. At around 11: 15 pm some of my friends came to join and I also wanted order a second round but were told by our server that you were closing soon.
When I asked about the last call, our server was unable to give us a clear answer and suggested that we speak to the manager. Unfortunately, the manager named Lumen was extremely rude and unprofessional from the start. He spoke to us in a condescending and dismissive tone and was unhelpful in resolving our issue.
Lumen claimed that a last call was made while we were outside, but I pointed out that this was not communicated to us and that the usual practice is to make the last call around 11: 30-11: 45 pm if you were closing at 12, his exact words were “Do you make rules? Do you own this place? ” When I mentioned that I had been a regular customer for the past two years, Lumen became even more confrontational and asked me to name someone who worked at the restaurant. When I did, he dismissed that person and asked me to name another. He have zero respect for his co-workers.
I found Lumen's behavior to be unacceptable and unprofessional. Not only was he rude and dismissive, but he also seemed to have a biased attitude towards me and my friends. I am deeply disappointed that a manager at your establishment would treat customers in such a manner.
I hope that you will take this complaint seriously and take appropriate steps to address this issue. I would appreciate a prompt response and a clear explanation of how you plan to address the behavior of Lumen and ensure that such incidents do not happen again in the future.
Wasn't very excited to go here, and was completely disappointed. Went on a Friday night, Jan 13,2013. Around 920pm. They were sold out of mashed potatoes, Caesar salad, and lobster tails. They were probably sold out of more things but those are what we came across. As for the food: The calamari and shrimp appetizers were horrible. Very bland, and cold. Was hard to enjoy a steak without mashed potatoes. But they were able to give me a medium Chicago style steak. They charge a 3% "honest to goodness" fee which they say is to help them keep prices low. 3% is nothing, but I would rather have that built into the price. Instead of deceiving customers for you to make 3% more, add it to the price, the most expensive menu item is like 35$, @3% that's a 1$ increase, it won't make a difference. Your 8$ bland burger becomes 8.24 with the 3% right, just put that on the menu, or do you think that someone will not order it because of the. 24 increase. This is such a money grab, cause at 3% no one will even notice it on the bill. Shameful. Service was great. The waitress was attentive. Suggestions: They should probably add grilled salmon on the menu.
This was our first time coming here. Claudia was our server and she quickly took our drink order then soon after took our food order. She did a great job being the only waitress and the restaurant was quickly filling up. My husband's peppercorn steak was a cooked right but there were too much peppercorns on it. Overall our experience was very good.
Went to Chuck's Roadhouse at Highbury & Huron Street in London, ON. We were seated, handed menu's & sat there for 25 minutes. The waitress didn't even offer us drinks. The place was dead, hardly any patrons during this time. Poor service, will not be returning to this location. As my spouse & I were leaving a waitress said, thank-you have a nice day. My response was. Thanks for the lousy service. AGAIN the restaurant was quiet as in, not busy at all.
UPDATE*** Thank-you to the owner of Chucks Roadhouse for reaching out to me. I cannot reply for some unknown reason. You requested a guest receipt, this is the issue, there is no guest receipt because no one offered us drinks. A young lady who was doing some cleaning up, sat us at our table & gave us menu's. We sat there for 25 minutes with no service or even acknowledgement that we were even there.
Good food, fast service, just can't give you 5 stars with the HONEST TO GOODNESS tax on the bill. Both the person i was with and myself would rather pay a little extra in the price of the good bought, than see another tax
I went to chucks with a few friends for some half price apps. Brook made sure we had drinks whenever we were empty, and always checked on how we were doing. The apps were great as well as the service.
Sky was our waiter, he was very polite, I liked how he read our order back to us for accuracy. The food was great, and reasonably priced. Chucks is our favorite restaurant.
Terrible service. The place wasn't busy and I've been to Chuck's at Locations all over Ontario in several different cities and never had a problem with service ever. I can not believe how we were treated at this location. Maybe it's because we are people of color but it is how you make people feel. Go to a different location is the best advice I give. We left and went Crabby Joe's not far from here. Please don't waste your time to be ignored.
Great food, the burgers are always a good choice at Chucks. The service from Benji and Aerial was fantastic, love the smiling faces. The entire staff worked great as a team, cleaning and resituating tables to get ready for the popular 9: 00 1/2 price app rush!

Our group was not allowed in so we have now moved to an alternate establishment. Twice a week we had a group attend but for some reason the waitresses decided they didn't want to serve us. Surprised they would give up significant tips during a dead period mid-afternoon. Only complaint we ever made was about a burnt black flatbread that was served. Their loss.
This place is amazing! Service, food, atmosphere- everything is great! Brook was our server for the last 3 times we were here and she’s very attentive to detail, fast and polite! We’re always very pleased with the service provided. Highly recommend it!
I absolutely love this location! The staff is so friendly, the facilities are impeccable, and you cannot beat the prices. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is fun.
On 2021-09-11 at approximately 2210 hrs, my wife and myself attended this bar to have some food. We waited for 50 minutes for the food. I understand the restaurant might be really busy at the time. However, the food was not even warm, I do not understand how come the food was like that. Secondly, due to the long waiting time, we were unable to finish all food. As a result, we asked to take out the food we could not finish. The server denied the requested as appetizer were half price at the time. She offerred us if we would like to pay the full price, we could take out the rest of the food. I do not know if thats the rule of the bar or we were not welcome there.
We experienced racism at this place. We waited over 1 hour for the food and the food served was not warm. We were over hungry due to the long waiting time and the food was cold out that we could not finish them in time. We asked to take out the food but the server denied our request. Really feel uncomfortable for the server‘s attitude and words.
Wait Staff is beyond incapable. I asked about food options that were soft, or if the kitchen could assist, and the answer I got was "I don't know". No offer to check with the kitchen, no offer to confirm if an alternate was available. Just "I don't know". I explained that I couldn't chew, and needed a soft option like mashed potatoes, and she peopled with with "oh", then went on to take the rest of the orders from our table. I drank a pop and didn't eat because asking the kitchen any questions is apparently too difficult of a concept.
First time at chucks roadhouse on high bury location. I have to say. Great service by Marci and great food too. Ask for Marci when you visit. She knows great customer service. Thank you for the great time with my family.will be back for sure and tell friends too. Get the pastry.it was fantastic.
My daughter's dad took our family out to eat. On our visit not only did we wait a long time for our food but, while changing my 1 yr old on the change table in the washroom. There was a needle with a lid on it located where the change table sheets go. Told the Manager and told me they clean bathroom every half HR and there was nothing they could do. Ohh nevermind he offered me A desert. My family and I were not happy when we left. I just wish the manager's apology was more sincere about that very nerve wracking situation. I do not have to say what could have happened to my daughter nor do I want to think about it. I would like to thank the waitress she apologized more and more sincerely then the manager. No, I do want not want your desert! I like Chuck's Road house I'm just very upset with the manager.
Couldn't tell if this place was racist or ignorant, left undecided, but after being first ones seated in the restaurant before the 9pm appetizer rush, completely ignoring our drink orders (either not bringing them or taking them). After 9 we ordered half priced apps, other tables started being filled as well. We didnt receive spin dip till 10: 30! Something every other table received twice over even after they "apologized" at which point i couldnt tell if it was intentional or complete stupidity, being the only 2 brothas in the place. Plus side, cheap (but limited) drink selection. And some of the best spin dip and calamari ive ever had at a roadhouse. But racist vibes here so avoid.
Wouldn't serve a family of 8 because we all didn't have our "vaccine papers" took our buisness elsewhere. They lost our buisness for life. Went to a restaurant that wanted our buisness.
Went here a few times, slow service the first time, and refused to serve me the second time, because they were closing in 40 minutes and they already closed up. Was bummed, came home late from work and figured they were still serving, wouldn't even give me a drink cause the bartender took off early too.

After talking to them. The way they solve is discount half priced the steak I don’t ate? Are you seriously? After that we get the bill and they charged full price for the appetizer. And this is how they solve: They asking for the free appetizer next time?

Not a bad place at all. We sat out on the patio and were entertained by some random person in the adjacent parking lot who was vogue-ing to the music for about 30 minutes. Portions were large, onion rings are great. The only thing I didn't like that I ordered was the steak bites that were small and hard.
I understand that they're working on a reduced menu but was very disappointed very disappointed when I ordered a sandwich to come on a bun and it arrives on a piece of toast. When I questioned about this when it arrived at the table I was told that's all they had. Tried to order a fancy salad all they had was Caesar. Would not waste my time going back.
Servers are very polite considering the ongoing pandemic. First time I've been out to a sit down place since it all started. We were seated quickly, and served quickly as well. Our server Kyle was incredibly polite and accommodating. Food was tasty, no issues whatsoever. Would definitely eat here again!
Actually not even one star deserved. We ordered takeout last night. They don’t even sell the $6 burgers claiming they only have cheeseburgers for about $9. Fries were cold and stale. Cannot ascertain when they were cooked. Cheeseburgers were same. We drove 5 minutes to eat at home. Caesar and steakhouse salads were a few pieces lettuce with two tiny pieces of tomatoes. Steak pieces were very old and very dry salty and tasteless. Extremely overpriced. DO NOT order from this restaurant until someone has posted a better review.
Good food, good prices, good service. Servers were very friendly. I am going back and would recommend any of the Chuck's Roadhouse Restaurants as a destination.
Took my mom here today for her 73 birthday lunch, first time out for her since the pandemic. We had the steak & lobster was amazing an service was great to the young hot guy who bought my mom a tequela shot thank-you so much for helping her when she fell on the way out lol it wasn't you it was the beers were still laughing about it
Today my friend and I went for lunch. I am 74 and my friend is 82. We registered at the door as they had the 10 people capacity already. There were two people ahead of us waiting in their car. As we stood there a lady came in boisterously claiming to be diabetic and needing to eat immediately. The waiter took her to a table ahead of us and others waiting to be seated. I mentioned to her that she wasn't being fair and she continued to insist on jumping the queue. She could have gone home or to somewhere else. Once we were seated we had a nice meal with good service. Everyone counts and no one is exceptional in these times. The restaurant closes tomorrow. I think the waiter made a mistake in this instance.
Great staff, we go there quite often We find Roman the manager very rude and ignorant. Twice with no line up we were asked to leave. Now with covid limited to 10 customers he targets us and only us to leave right at the hour owner needs to know why people have bad experiences. Roman is bad for your restaurant.
