A bunch of us showed up after work for some drinks and apps. The bartender let me know that she was on her own for a bit and asked if we would be patient. Well, the service was great and even better when back up arrived. Thanks ladies and kitchen staff for doing such a great job! You.are.appreciated
Tonight at Chuck’s we witnessed an ignorant customer treat Brandy, our waitress with zero respect. The man ordered steak and lobster. He took one look at the steak then cut into the lobster and pushed the plate away. When Brandy returned to the table he was swearing at her saying the cook didn’t know what he was doing. He wanted his dinner returned to the kitchen to be cooked the way he had ordered it. Brandy returned his meal without hesitation to the kitchen and was very curtious to him. He asked for a second beer which Brandy served to him. He drank the second beer and then got up and left without paying. This guy was rude and obnoxious, Brandy handled herself professionally and at no time did she not try to offer good customer service to a person that clearly didn't deserve it. She should be commended for the way she handled a bad situation with minimal disruption to other patrons in the restraunt.
The food is outstanding! Service was spot on and the prices were very reasonable. They even offered really good deals. You don't see that, that good anymore.
Lovely place for the atmosphere. The service is friendly but the kitchen is slow (eg. Last time I was in, it took an hour to get a veggie burger and fries. It was not busy. The food is average. Prices are great!
Been coming here for about a year and I have to say, the place is just constantly getting better each and every time I come for dinner. I brought my daughter this time around and she was even shocked as a red seal chef herself, with the quality of the food. Honestly good food and beer, can't beat it! The manager made it a point to greet and visit every guest including us during our visit. The wings and nachos we got were beyond tasty, and the service even better! I should also mention the owners are very easy going people. I've just recently met them but they make my family and I always feel welcome and apart of the Chucks family. I really can't say enough good things about this place and the management! I highly recommend to anyone who watches the Leafs and enjoys reasonable beer and food.
This place is disgusting and should be renamed Up Chuck's I've been there several times trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but every time food has been nasty. It is clean and servers were polite and friendly but there kitchen staff really need to step it up honestly I could cook better meals at home in my microwave.
Horrible. We eat at chucks in every city. Never again. This one had TWO ppl running both the bar & restaurant. The waitress we had was only on the job 3 days. NO FAULT TO HER.she shouldn’t of been left alone on a hockey Sunday night. She came with a debit machine to get us to pay BEFORE WE HAD OUR FOOD. We didn’t get our drinks. Two tables walked out. We were brought ONE meal and forgot about the other TWO. The chefs were not any better. Hard cold fries. Bacon too hard to eat on the burger. Forgot sides of gravy. Then the bathroom. Absolutely disgusting. Broken doors, toilet seats and mould on all the lower walls. No one should never be ok owning this restaurant and having it be in the shape it is.
The food was really good, came out on time, everything was cooked perfectly. Staff were great, timely service, the manager came and checked on us which was nice, that doesn't happen usually at other restaurants, so it was a nice change to know we were being well taken care of! I will definitely be back, and telling everyone who wants restaurant suggestions to come here!
Very slow service, waited 15 mins for drinks. The waitress stayed at the bar talking about others rudely swearing loud. Asked for ketchup etc for our food. Goes back to bar to talk more wait until I’ve eaten my plain food almost all finished than she brings it. Worst service experience. Will not be back. There was less than 20 people there, sad. I don’t need a response from the manger that copies and pastes.
Had the filet mignon with lobster tails. It was delicious. Brandy was fantastic, courteous and charming. Top notch service. Definitely will be back again
It was right after the snowstorm, and we wanted something different to eat after a longer drive for NYC, we decided to stop here, and the place was packed, which was nice to see
The waitress made a mistake with my order, which i forgave her, but when the food did come after 30 minutes, it was cold, nothing to rave about nice experience but I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon
Went to my local bar and had this server named brandy. She welcomed me and was very polite. Every time my drink was down to one sip she had one in front of me just so my mouth didn’t go dry. That’s what i call a good bartender and as a bonus she’s friendly and very good looking. Always up the tips for her
If I could give this a 0 I would. Went in with a group of 3 on Wednesday night (Nov 9) around 7: 30. Not busy at all. Maybe 20 people in the restaurant. Seated right away but then didn't even get a waitress, we waited around for 20 minutes, even asked the hostess if we were going to see a waitress and she said "ok" never to be seen again. We then again waited, still not even acknowledged by anyone in the restaurant. Finally we got up and left right as the blonde waitress was walking by and she STILL didn't say anything. I wouldn't recommend going here unless you enjoy being ignored!
Beer was cold. Bathroom could use a good cleaning, you can almost smell the urine from the bar. Staff was friendly and kind but this place could use a little work.
Went at 9: 30 for half price apps (only after 9pm) found door locked and closed even though sign says open till 1am on Friday’s.guess they close whenever they want.
This was my first visit to any Chuck's. I had heard the Niag Falls one wasn't good and although we live in Welland lol, we were unfamiliar with them so we ended up in Fort Erie. My connoisseur Mom said it was good there and boy was it. Appetizers came out quickly, and the bruschetta was to die for. The steaks, although took a bit too long to appear were perfectly cooked and very tasty. Our waitress, Brandi, who was actually the bartender (?) was amazing, friendly, attentive and overall a delight. I really have no complaints and would definitely eat here again. It was delicious. I'll try the Welland Chuck's since I live in Welland lol, but it has much to live up to now that the Fort Erie location has made its mark on my stomach and heart. Oh.the manager came to our table to make sure all was well and was also a delight. Great experience!
