Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill

Hanover location, 20 minutes to get our order taken, lengthy wait for food to come out, waitress asks if we need anything else I hand her my empty pop glas and ask for a refill, my meal was finished and had flag her down again to remind her of the pop, even though she walked past the table with the empty glass sitting there still, then waited for a waitress to bring the bill, 3% honest to goodness fee is also ridiculous, lucky I wasn’t paying or there would be no tip, update checked the receipt and a $43 meal plus a $5 tip somehow came to $61, poor service and got screwed over during payment

Sandy, Kat, Courtney are great people and they do their job really well. They really make it fun to visit Chuck’s in Hanover. Great personalities. Way to go guys!

Attended Chucks on a Saturday night and yes it was busy. Had reservations for 6: 30pm, for 6 adults and two kids.not seated until 7: 00pm. Took 10 minutes until drink order taken. Ordered apps and main course all at once. Took 45 minutes for food to arrive.chick parm was very cold and noodles were hard. One steak ordered was very cold along with the mashed potatoes. All around food was like it been sitting for a while. People who had arrived well after us began receiving their food before us. I had not attended this restaur and it was very disappointing.

My husband and i were there for two hours. After 1: 40 we finally got served. My chicken wasn't cooked. Fries were cold. They made it again which I wasn't in the mood to eat it, i took it home. You could see several people complaining about the wait time and service. One man said he waited 1.5 for french fries. You could here them yelling at each other in the kitchen. Felt bad for the severs who will suffer in the end. Get it together people I know for a fact you lost money that night.

Sandy at Chuck’s Hanover is an excellent bartender and server. I always feel very welcomed when visiting. Thank you Sandy!

Food was a disgrace. Over cooked, I believe my fish was bad and smelled funny, the batter was so cooked. Absolute garbage is my description. French fries were cardboard.
The server was very nice at least.

It was pretty good service and the atmosphere there was decent. However, the food was not the best. I ordered a chicken parm pasta and the chicken was processed into oblivion, did not even taste like chicken

This is my second experience at Chucks Roadhouse but at different locations. Both times, the food wait was brutal. The steak we ordered was good, but that's it.
Warning! They also included an extra service fee on the bill with no heads up, so look out for charges.

Very slow service, we waiting half an hour just for a drink and over an hour for appetizers. When it came to getting our bill, our waitress gave people who came in after us their bill and made us wait. Very disappointed.

Roadhouse and Sports Bar, great selections on the menu, steaks, burgers, salads, good selection of beers and on tap, others drinks to suit your taste.

Other than the flies at our table all was ok. Not a good place for people with food allergies.

Surf and turf lobster was over cooked and the steak a little dry. The service was good though.

Waitress great, but.
We had a wheel chair, this place does not have door openers on the doors, if I'm the only person pushing the wheel chair. Only one spot out front was taken and we had to park in the gravel area to accommodate the wheel chair van to open side door with ramp.
Second, they advertise free refills with pop. I had a root beer, which came in a plastic bottle. When I asked for a refill the waitress said no, only on pop. I said root beer is a pop. She said it was not her decision it was management's. She checked menu, and nowhere did it say rootbeer was not a pop.
Third, they have a tax on the food of 3%, waitress said it was to make up for increased food prices. So that they do not have to add it to the price of the food. Well, you just did add it.

The last who served us was amazing. She really made the experience special. I had the new York strip medium rare and they nailed it! Been craving another steak since then.

Went for a family supper. The server was excellent. I got the my strip steak, med rare and it was fantastic. Great char, cooked properly, really juicy and tender.

We were sat in the dinner area, and waited 20 mins and finally asked to be seated at the bar because no one came for are drinks or food. The only reason I give this place a 3 star is because the bartender seamed to know why we were upset and did a great job making the feast of our night good. One last thing, the men’s bathroom was disgusting, looks like they clean it once a week maybe?

Never had I had such awful service at a chucks before. We didnt get asked once for refills and couldn't get her attention to even get one. Ate almost our full meal without a drink. Came to us when our food was long gone asking if we need a bill. Still we were not offered any refills.

It is extremely cheap. Unfortunately if it's busy they are always under staffed. Great servers, just a lot to look after.

Today was our first visit here. I was worried based on the feedback but we had a great experience. Did go prior to dinner rush though. Service was great. Friendly and welcoming without being overbearing. Food was delicious! Big portions. Hot. Exactly as it should be. I had chicken fingers and fries with gravy. Five large chicken pieces! My husband had Montreal smoked meat sandwich and fries. And very reasonably priced. Very happy and will definitely go again! Thank you!
