Ordered the 7 oz sirloin and realized when I got the bill I was charged an extra 3 dollars for a baked potatoes. Will never go back this should be included with the meal.

Nice place to go for cheap beer and snacks. We did order rib meals and waited over an hour for them to be delivered. Not the best food, but I have had worse.
Fortunately the friendly bar staff, cheap drinks and atmosphere make up for the food quality.

Great food doesn't matter what you order. The atmosphere is positive, happy, and lot of TVs to watch. Sports everywhere. Service was fast and polite as well.

I got the spinach and goat cheese dip, for a starter, it was a very small portion and it was very runny, then I ordered the filet mignon and lobster tail. I do not recommend the lobster. It was not good at all. My steak was good. For the price of everything though, in my opinion, is not worth it at all.

We had such an amazing visit here at Chucks! We had Grace as our server and she was phenomenal! Grace was very attentive, quick, and very personal and was an absolute pleasure!

Honestly best night I have had in a long time, food was pretty good although probably the best customer service I have had, From our Waitress Grace was absolutely a thrill, continuing to check in on the table and brought the biggest smile along with the amazing service.

Grace definitely makes you feel welcome, and I will be back!
Make sure to ask for Grace! 10/10

We showed up to chucks after the gym to eat outside but we were almost forced to eat inside. We politely asked to eat outside again and they allowed us but not without attitude. We did not have any interaction with our server for 20 minutes then our drinks took another 15 minutes. We were very close to leaving before the drinks came. The manager and hostess were constantly talking about the previous customers seated at the front door (we sat 10 feet from them).

I will return because i do enjoy chucks but the hostess and manager almost made us leave.

Don't order curbside here. I ordered curbside and when i arrived, i called (many different times over a wide time frame) and no one answered. I got out and stood at the patio and the waitresses just walked past me. I didn't have a mask to enter, so i had no way to get my food.

Steak should tender not tough and corn should be at least warm enough to melt butter. The others had many complaints regarding their food orders. The manager could have cared less. Unlikely we will be back unless to see their doors locked and closed for business.

Me and a group of eleven went to the London Exeter St location. We tried calling multiple times to make a reservation, but after five phone calls the phone was only answered once. We started calling at 11am when they opened. The only time the phone was answered the staff member on the phone was very rude and we were told they do not take reservations under Anny circumstances. When we arrived at 5: 45 we were told they could accommodate our group. Ours orders were taken and after 25 minutes the drinks were delivered. The food we ordered did not come for a hour after that and only for half the group. The other half of the group did not get their food for another 30 minutes. The food also came out wrong and had to be sent back. After when bills were asked for the 25% discount that we were supposed to receive was wrong and the waitress was very rude and snippy about fixing it. Instead of a discount of 25% on the order like the manager had said, she discounted a single item 25%. Some members of the group had to wait for 30 minutes to get their bills. The waitress that took our order only came back to our table to bring the bills and never once checked of we needed anything. We had to flag down other staff to get refills and cutlery for the table. All in all it was a terrible experience, horrible service, and mediocre food.

Steak was undercooked and the baked potato was poring butter not the best meal I have had hear. I will give it another chance because I have had 2 great meals here.

Our steak was overcooked and the lobster tail was also overcooked the staff did redo the lobster but then attempted to charge us for it it would not recommend this location

We had been to this location with varying success before, but this past week, my Wife and I went there for our 21st anniversary dinner. Ordered the goat cheese and spinach dip app, and Steak and Lobster entry. My lobster was served cold. My Wife's Caesar was served without vodka (they did replace once asked). All this we were willing to look past because we both love the goat cheese dip, and can't beat the price.
But afterwards, the both of us had upset stomachs and diarrhea for 48 hrs.

We will not be celebrating at Chuck's ever again.

UPDATE: The GM reached out and decided to give us a whopping $40 gift card towards our next visit for the inconvenience. Although better than nothing, does not suffice in this case. Our business will still be going elsewhere moving forward.

Food was not good left with a stomach ache.also had a 3% charge on my bill! Would be curious to know where this 3% is going.says it is on the menu.but i think you should be told about it before ordering. Would never eat there again!

Our experience was horrible. Terrible service! We ordered take out. I sent my teenage kids (17 and 19) to pick it up. They arrived 5 minutes before the meal was supposed to be ready. After 35 minutes the food was still not ready. They had been ignored the entire time. Only after I arrived was the food all of a sudden ready.
All of the hot food was cold because it sat on the counter for 30 minutes. I spoke to James Lobo the Manager and he has promised a full refund. We will see!
Terrible customer service. Terrible experience. Terrible food cause it was cold!

We went to 2 different Chucks 3 times this week due to the proximity to our hotel, food quality, food cost and service (probably in that order).
Was surprised at the low cost of items. I’ll admit that the food itself is just ok. Nothing really stood out for us but, were very happy with the service, timing and temperature of the food. (Don’t order the overpriced $6.99 garlic bread for 5 dinner roll sized plain tasting bread - no garlic taste)
Was surprised when the bill came and there was a 3% “Honest to goodness tax” that gets slipped in after the subtotal “to keep the food costs low”. Not sure why this is not reflected in the menu item cost instead of hiding it till you pay your bill (12oz Rib eye goes from $19.99 to $20.59).
We took advantage of the 1/2 priced appetizers yesterday. Ordered Nachos and 2lbs of wings. Wings came to us in two orders for some reason. Nachos had all the toppings (a lot of veggies) on the bottom layer of the tray with no nachos underneath. Plenty of chips, cheese and jalapeños on top. Maybe they prep for the 1/2 price this way but it’s a strange way to put together nachos.
I find out when the bill comes that my 30 oz Coors Banquet doesn’t qualify as a $6.50 domestic draft as it’s actually a domestic premium beer. Nothing in the menu states domestic beers have to be non premium (wasn’t told that it was premium when I ordered). I also find that they charged for two 1lb orders of wings - not the 2lb that we ordered. This sub amount is an extra $1.39 when factoring in the different price X 3% “Honest to goodness tax” X 13% HST X Tip.
All told, we paid an extra $2.79 with the special pricing of the beer. The Manager has said it’s not his fault as Corporate is who makes the decision on the 3% and how to order the wings after 9: 00 pm.

Why am I upset about paying $2.79? I’m not actually. What I’m not impressed with is that I feel like I need to ask way too many questions for things that can be easily answered just by advertising the food and drinks properly.
I don’t like feeling that I should need to review the bill with a copy of the menu available to identify what the restaurant is trying to slip by me this time. Strange business model. If a particular item really was fantastic, I might go back but, there’s nothing that fits the bill. We won’t be going back to Chuck’s.

Very good experience after all the food whats expected from a roadhouse, steaks pretty decent atmosphere considering all that has happened lately. Well very good one problem doors are wide open and the amount of flies around the tables as you eat totally gross. This is the one big problem to be aware of.

The absolute worst burger I've ever had. And believe me I'm not a picky eater at all. The burger was insanely dry, tuff and the fries were old and cold. Wont be eating here anymore.

Wasn't the best. Service was not good at all took us 20 minute's just to get the check. Burgers come with processed cheese not real cheese and my bacon was pretty burnt.

First time there tonight and it will be my last night ever. The waitress was so useless and she was rude. I never got my order and when I asked what happen to my order she said someone else eat it at my table so I just payed for my drink and was gone. Chuck's staff needs some better honest to goodness training.

Sirlion and lobster tail came with only the shell of the tail and no meat.when we brought it to the waitresses attention she got the mamager to address the issueissue. 20 min later. He claimed it was highly unlikely as he reviewed security tapes of the food as well he claimed claimed it was highly unlikely that his cooks and the server would miss that sort of thing. No appology, No offer to correct the situation (all we wanted was what we were paying for.) so in the end he was saying that we were lying.and he was an absolute douch about the whole thing.

Normally I love this place. Great food, staff and prices. Today unfortunately we had Cindy as our waitress. Very rude and was constantly rushing us. We wanted to know what was in our burgers and her response was "the normal" and that we make it our selves. We wanted to add things extra or remove things but as she was talking to us she kept walking away. If we she was busy I would have understood but the place wasn't busy at all. The food still tasted great and the price was perfect. Just wasn't impressed by Cindy at all.

Our visit was meh. Nothing special. Ehich is sad cz it was my birthday dinner.we waited more than 40mins for the food. Waited more than 30mins for our appetizers! We ordered our usual the salmon smoked plate. However, it was not to our expectations and we notified our waiter he was like oh really. Nothing more or less. Which was worse than the meal itself. I dont know of we will be going back again.

They nickle and dime you with added charges to the prices. I do not agree with these business practices. They are not ethical or fair. I will not go back.the food is below average. It is very clear that they cut as many corners as possible and cheap out on quality. The meat tasted like shoe leather. I am surprised I did not break my teeth off.
Will not return ever. Zero stars should be an option to rate this place.

We just came back from a beautiful meal good service and a very helpful waitress you cannot beat the prices for the food you get. We were stuck for New Year's so I called at 6 and they said if you come right now will give you a beeper number we got their 15 minutes later we were seated 10 minutes later. I don't understand some of these negative reviews I just know that I've been there three times and will continue to go back

I rounded up to 4 stars, but I would lean more to a 3.5. The food is decent, but the prices have had to go up over the last couple years. The drink specials are still some to best in London. I mean $4 for domestic pints!? Daaaang. Service is hit in miss every time we go. Better training could be used.

There was a bit of a wait to be seated but not unbearable, maybe under 15 minutes. Our server was vert polite and service was very good. I ordered the 14 oz. New York steak with a loaded baked potato and "all you can eat" side of ceasar salad. The meal was delicious and the steak was just as ordered. One thing about the atmosphere; it is very loud. There was a Hockey game on and the sound overpowered conversation. Another thing that I'm going to note here is there was an older casually dressed man who kept walking around in the staff area looking put out, (I realise now he must have been management) but at first I didn't know if he had forgot where he was sitting or he was in urgent need of using the washroom facilities and there was no vacant stall, at any rate his pacing back and forth was a little unsettling. Maybe in the future be a little more discreet about surveilling the floor area or hire staff for this task (i.e. Security). Other than that the meal and experience was very good.

Love the place and the food. But those fries! Seriously guys. This is a place known for its steak and you've changed from great steak fries to shoelace McDonald's fries lacking even McDonald's taste and consistency?

I tried to take my father out to lunch to chucks as we go to one In Huntsville and the service and food was always great. Ever since coming to this location 9/10 times we have terrible service. Today was again one of those days, the bartender was completely unprofessional approaching the table rolling her eyes and asking “what do you want”. There was no introduction and no welcome to the restaurant she promptly took a beer order from my father and walked away from the table not even regarding myself and that I was even there. When she came back she was extremely rude to my father who tried to explain that she walked away before even asking what I wanted to drink, she rolled her eyes again and goes what can I get you, I simply asked for a water as I felt like a COMPLETE INCONVENIENCE, she came back within seconds slammed the water down and took off again, we were planning on ordering food but she took off again before we even got a chance to speak, then a NEW waitress came to the table and said we were handed off and she didn’t know why. The new waitress was polite and kind and took the time to treat us like customers instead of making us feel like we were an inconvenience. The new waitress then did grab the manager who was great too and apologized but I still paid the bill and tipped the new waitress even though I myself didn’t eat at all. I was so thrown back by the approach I am still asking myself what I did wrong to deserve this type of service.completely unprofessional and I wouldn’t advise anyone to go here who is looking for good service and good food.it’s unfortunate this place has so much potential but treating your customers like their garbage just makes them walk out the door.

Arrived around one yesterday afternoon, ordered two apps and our mains about fifteen minutes later, apps arrived about ten minutes later, so far so good, 45 minutes after that our waitress comes back to let us know she forgot to put our order in, so we tell her what we want again, we haven't even had our drinks refilled or anything at this point, we were about ready to leave, but were told we would be getting a discount for the inconvenience so decided to stick it out, got our mains a half hour later, still sitting there with empty cups all around, food was good, can't complain there, bill arrives, still full price, we ask about it and were told they don't do discounts, she did go back and manage to get about $6 knocked off our $50 bill.i don't think we will be back

We had great service in the London location from Cassy and the meal came very quickly. I was worried after reading some of these reviews but we were very happy with our meal and extremely pleased with the fast and friendly service.
There was a 3% fee added to the bill which I don't understand why that is not just built into the prices as it seems sneaky. They're presenting prices as so low but really they're 3% more than indicated. If I hadn't read reviews and been prepared for it that would have really pissed me off. I still think it's wrong to do that to cover your staff wages and unfair to them to have to constantly explain it I'm sure. Change the sneaky factor and you might get 5

First time there and I was very pleased. It was super busy but we didn't wait long. Service was absolutely amazing and the food was just as good, if not better.

The prices are also incredibly fair.

Will definitely be returning on the near future.

Usually amazing food and experience unfortunately our regular waitress was switched out after we finished eating without an introduction to our new one.we casually finished our drinks with our empty plates still on table and proceeded to wait 30 plus minutes after finishing our drinks, (a can placed in a glass as signal for the bill,) we asked for bill twice by two other waitresses and I’m positive it was the owner clearing our plates when they finally did. Very Unimpressed, will make sure to only ask for specific waitresses next time.

Love this place great burgers and bottomless salad. Tried a steak and was not thrilled, Medium rare is not the same as well done. A tad overcooked but I grumbled to myself and ate it anyway. Should have had it redone as I am sure they would have happily accommodated. Love this place.

Dined here once when it first opened. Was terrible. Emailed them & no response. Thought we would give it another try. Terrible food again. Server was nice but first server seated us with no menus or cutlery. Told us she would be right back & never did return. They charge you extra for cheese on your burger and it’s fake cheese. Kraft slices, disgusting.

We ordered an appy to come out first but it came same time as the entree. Told server we asked for the appetizer to come out on its own first. She said nothing at first then asked if our entrees should be put under the heat lamp! Said for her to talk to her manager and either remake the entrees to be served when we were ready for it or take the appetizer off the bill. In the meantime we tried the fries that came with the entree and they were just barely warm. And of course the server didn't return for more than 10 minutes. And when she did return, it was in passing. She said that she had the appetizer taken off the bill and then took off and totally ignored us while we ate our cold dinner. We should have just gotten up and left but it was almost 10 pm and we were starving, so we stayed and ate it. The fries weren't very good and was disappointed in the medium rare steak (chewy). Needless to say, we didn't tip the server! This experience will definitely make us think twice before coming back again!

Was a great place. Now the staff are slow and they have no problem over serving alcohol. Food was cold and over cooked. The staff seems to just take the orders and forget about it. There for the tip when the time comes to pay.

This is the first time we've come to eat here. I had french onion soup to start (the temp was warm to cool; bland) and a burger with fries (the fries were very old & tired, not hot at all but the burger was tasty). My husband had a 10 oz steak with fries & gravy which he said was good.

The wait for food was slow; nearly 30 mins to arrive. Finally, when it came, the manager delivered it and asked if we wanted anything else. We asked for a tea and water and he never came back.

We only saw the waitress three times; once to get drinks, once to order food and when the bill came. Disappointing for 3: 30 in the afternoon. Other waitresses were certainly more attentive in the room. It's too bad cause she seemed nice.

I am not a fan of their 3% "honest to goodness" tax/fee. The waitress said that the money went back to the company to make sure that food prices didn't increase; is this true?

Why not just jack the price of the food by. 50¢ and call it a day instead of doing that cause she said it doesn't go back to wait staff or cooks. Seems unfair.

I felt like I was visiting Niagara Falls and was being taxed 8% for tourists fees just to stay in the area. It should be disclosed before you order. Let's be "honest and goodness" here guys
