This place is okay. Service is pretty good for the most part but it's hard to hear them over the super loud music. I wouldn't recommend the veggie dog. It doesn't look as advertised and isn't appetizing. The pineapple ade is really just pineapple juice with ice. They're not cheap with the sauce which is nice. No indoor seating so you will have to eat in your car or outside on the benches.
I ordered sweet potato and Gamsung hotdogs with their recommended sauce combinations. It tasted well balanced with crispy hot dog itself and sauce. Very convenient package for take-out as well. Love it!
I called to place an order as I was on my way to work and craving a dog. The guy was about to take my order then passed the phone to a lady who said they can’t take my order right now and call back in 20 minutes because they’re busy.
Loved the prices.the hotdogs were so different and very delish.loved u could make it ur way and they had many sauces and shake to put on top of the dog.very filling and the cheese pull is insane
Yes yes yes! Tons of flavor! Beautiful and tasty! 100% would recommend the potato corn dog and original. They are freshly made to order. It was super packed but only had to wait about 10 mins for our order. So that was awesome. Atmosphere was a bit cramped inside but it flowed eventually. Overall I would go again!
This has to be one of my favourite places when you want to grab a snack that is filling! What we ordered? Vegetarian - cheese rice hotdog - mozzarella and marble cheese
Amazing food and portion size is awesome for what you're paying. Wait time is only a few minutes even with a full store. Wl definitely be returning soon!
I am addicted to chungchun rice dogs. I eat them for lunch or dinner, sometimes both. My favourites are the potato and original. The cheese filled ones are great too - only if my tummy is feeling brave.
I always get butter garlic powder, sweet chili, and spicy mayo as toppings.
The pineapple juice I tried once and it was super sweet and refreshing however pricey considering the volume.
Only minor downside is the wait time is sometimes pretty lengthy. It is a popular spot and each order takes more that a few minutes.
2nd time ordering from here.tried the chicken sweet potato, veg sweet potato and chicken nugget rice hotdogs.they all tasted excellent and the hotdog is big enough to go as a meal. I will buy again.fully satisfied by taste, price and the service!
This is my go to whenever I crave for a snack! I always order their Gamsung (potato) corndog, it's so yummy and crispy and with the classical korean sauce (ketchup and sugar), it's the best combination for me! The sausage inside the corndog can be made better but its still very yummy! We also got the half Mozzarella cheese corndog, the cheese inside is melted and that cheese pull! SO yummy! It is freshly made but it takes a bit for them to make it. I think its worth the wait though!
Small Korean hotdog place by the university. No dine-in, and the place is always packed. The food is pretty good. They've got a vegetarian option, which I found to be below average as far as vegetarian food goes. The biggest plus points for this place are the different varieties, seasonings, and sauces they offer. Price is decent too.
The portion was astonishing, perfect amount. Korean corn dog >>> American corn dog. Very crispy. I do have one problem. Rename the volcano dog, it does not live up to even the lowest of standards. Do better. But overall great job guys keep it up
Food was a fun experience! It was yummy BUT, not anything more than what I expected. It was roughly 5 to 10 bucks for a hotdog, so it's average for cost.
The food felt a bit heavy and greasy, but overall it was good! I had a lot of fun eating it, but I don't think I'll be going again anytime soon. It's more of a "once in a while" place for me I think.
Small shop, no seating and all the outdoor benches are in horrible shape.
Service was a tad slow, but its made fresh so who can really complain. I'd rather fresh and slower than gross and quick.
I had the double cheese hot dog. There is nothing wrong with the food except it is just horribly bland. The only flavour comes from the sauce they squeeze on. If 95% of a food's flavour comes from the sauce then the recipe needs to be altered. I'm glad I tried it once but wont go back again. Otherwise the service and everything else is fine.
YUM! A friend notified me that these hotdogs were delicious, and omg they weren't lying! LOVED. I got the sweet potato dog and the chocolate for dessert with a pineapple ade. So good. The taste is unique. I will definitely be back to try more flavors! I highly recommend the pineapple ade. Employees were friendly, the prices were good, and the food was ready to go in 10 minutes. Perfect
Went here for the first time last night and didn't know what to expect and I was blown away at how good these dogs were. There's a good variety of dogs and then sauces & seasonings. Will definitely go back. My takeout box had some fun art on it too.
Great shop, super clean and crips layout. No seating but great takeout. Definitely a 5 star food but the lines are unbearable at times. The sauces and service are top notch and if you’re looking for a delicious hotdog, I’d highly recommend Chungchun
I ordered two hot dog, one chicken hog dog with all chicken but it is all cheese no chicken at all. The second one is Half Mozzarella hot dog with toppings is crispy flake And they gave me ramen and all cheese This is my first time at the store and will be last. So disappointed.
For some reason this restaurant believes they are the only place in town where they "can't take pick up orders" because they got stiffed on a couple orders one time (not by me). I can call to any restaurant in town and place a pick up order the phone. In fact, MOST restaurants prefer this rather than forcing someone to use Uber Eats (or equivalent) because they don't have to pay service fees. Also, it is MORE money to order this way than their menu to order through Uber eats (I'm sure everyone is aware of this, even if you are picking up). So either the owner does not value the time of their customers by making them wait for their order in doors (yay COVID), or does not respect their customer's resources by making them pay more for the same item using an over priced order system.
Here's an idea, just allow someone to order direct through your website instead of making us order through uber eats. OR take a credit card over the phone. OR just like EVERY other place in town, just take pick up orders.
Also, to the poor delicate soul that answered the phone and thought I was rude by saying "please let me talk to your manager", I was not rude, it is perfectly acceptable to ask for a manager specifically because I know you can't do anything about the situation.
This location is ok, I tried the one in Toronto and it was much better. I usually get the half-half, it tastes good. But last time, I topped it w sweet potato on top, they overcooked my corn dog, and it was burned all the outside layer. Will recommend not to top your corn dog w too thick layer outside.
