Church St. Garage Bar

It was a cold, damp day (suitable for web footed friends) & I was damp & feeling peckish. The pleasant young waiter was bright spot that afternoon. Helpful with menu choices & attentive. The ravioli in red sauce with a Stella hit the mark.

Visited last Saturday while in town to see a show and had dinner here. It was absolutely phenomenal! Our server (not sure of the young man's name) was spot on, and that's high praise from another server whose standards are high. The food was fantastic best deep fried cauliflower I've had in my life! Will definitely be back next time I am in Toronto.

Nice patio. Good, polite, and prompt service. But the food was ordinary and the steak in the steak and eggs was definitely off.

Had dinner here the last night and had an amazing meal on the patio. I got the summer salad with chicken which was delicious (and was slightly bigger than the photo). Our server Mathew really made the experience outstanding and definitely made me want to go back!

Went for the patio experience and was not disappointed. Our server was incredibly polite and accommodating. Made sure I got my preferred drink of choice (Hot chocolate) and made it well too! The veggie wrap I got along with surprisingly good as well.

Just wanted a quiet place to grab some food and read and it was perfect. Server was attentive and friendly. Food was good.

Met a friend for a beer. We could sit outside & that's very nice. The beer was good, I ordered something they have on tap. We chatted, drank our beer & moved on. It's a popular neighborhood pub & ticks all the boxes.

Amazing staff and even more amazing chicken wings! Some other customers ordered and the aroma was so satisfying we had to order some ourselves. This is my favorite haunt of all time the place is comfy and the crowd is laid back.

Fantastic bar with a great ambiance! If Pierre is working behind the bar, order a Long Island Iced Tea! You will not be disappointed!

I highly recommend the Church St. Garage, as the service was excellent and the food was delicious. Manager T. J.and wait staff were welcoming and attentive. We will be sure to visit each time we are in town.

the music had us singing and dancing in our seats the entire time, our drinks were the best kind of sweet, the cake was mouth-wateringly delicious, and our server lindsay was nothing short of absolutely amazing— she definitely made our entire night!

I was visiting from Alberta the week of August 9-16 and had the pleasure of dining at Garage Bar. The food is awesome and the service from the saucy and very patient host at the door to the young woman who served us both nights. Thank you all for a job well done and making 2 cowpokes from Alberta feel comfortable.

First time eating here after walking by countless times and I was pretty disappointed. The food was not all that good. My date ordered a pasta chicken dish that tasted like it was starting to go bad and the fries were very soggy and soaked with grease. Alcholic drinks tasted watered down.

Came for a drink and our server Jeremy just made our night! He was AMAZING and so much fun, was just such a delight. Will definitely come back.

Door staff great, table service left bad taste, first waiter had to be brought to the table to show that this was his table, then we asked for of all things napkins with our fries and wings, wait wait wait oh had to ask host for to get us napkins. And they only tip 1% to host?

Melissa and Kaya are the only reason I come here, They're the most patient and kind server's! My group of 6 came here Saturday night and were so entertained by the drag performers! So if you're looking for a good time, Please come down to garage you won't regret it!

Don't show up if you're not in a large group. Waiter told us he had to "ask another server's permission" to let us (3 people) sit. Half the place was empty. The blond server was also very condescending to us throughout the night.

I got invited back for a group BBQ but in Toronto they call it a Spit Roast No biggie just as long as it tastes good

Maybe not the best place for food? I ordered a salad and it was really stale (chicken and the vegetables). Coke was flat.

I just wanna say that i had the best experience at this place! We met Jeremy Mizu he told us that it was his second day but it felt like he was working there forever! The vibe we got from him was the best vibe i have felt in a long time.after all this Covid stuff that has been going on in so happy that you guys added him go ur team! Jusy wanted to say a big thank you! AND HE NEEDS A RAISE ALREADY! We will 100% be back for him

I can't express how much I love this place. The staff are great, there's often drag or other entertainment and it's a small enough space that you feel like you are part of something special. Congrats to the entire Garage team who continue to make this space adorable and brilliant (P. S. They updated their sign on the front too and it looks SUPERB).

Nice to see Church Street Garage Bar and Restaurant open and always love the patio and the atmosphere. The servers always perfect and a overall pleasant spot to sit and watch everything in the village. With the warm weather coming tomorrow couldn't think of a better spot for lunch. Drinks and good company.

Most disappointing burger. They put so much fillers in the patty that it does not taste nor resemble beef. Burger was dry and we got the ends of the Stella barrel when they were changing it over.

Pretty disappointed in the quality of the food. I don't know if it is always like that or just that day. At my table someone had to ordered twice pancakes and it was raw inside. So she didn't eat.

I eat in this spot a lot since I work in the area. I must say their customer service is always good and they keep the place neat regularly. Prices are fair and they serve sizeable portions.

I placed an order on a popular food deliveryapp however the food that was listed on the app was no longer available on the.when I arrive to pick up my food the staff informed me but were quick to offer a alternate suggestion that ended up being better than what I originally wanted.

The stars are purely for the entertainment, which was great. The service was awful. Possibly the worst waiter I've had in my entire life.

Wow the worst service and the most basic tasting food I’ve ever had. Wow just wow.was edible and we were starving coming from a long day of running around. The food was so bad/ bland that I felt the need to write this review. I’ll say it one more time.wow just wow. It always disappoints me that a restaurant that has a prime location in the heart of a community can put forth a value offering that is so below average standards. I actually feel a bit offended by that - you should know better Church street Garage.

Great music, karaoke, drag, drinks and food. A good place to chill out after a typical day at the office.

We just try it out to get 1 drink and we end up staying.we're blown away when they have the drag show too. 2 thumbs up. Must try their calamares, one of the best calamares i ever tasted.

Awesome time, kevin our sever was on point, made us laugh. Very attentive. Great customer service! We were. Visiting and he made us feel at home!

This place has a great patio and often hosts drag queens who out on a great show. It can be intimate or quite busy depending on the day. The beer selection is not great.

So firstly we come to the entrance and 2 serves just walk by us. So we ask if table for 3 is available in patio. 1 looks back and say.yay yay just anywhere. We the wait just a few mins and the server brings us menus. No eye contact no engagement and just takes drink order and leaves.after we got drinks.we had to ask our table to be wiped down as it was so sticky. Comes back 2 mins later and wipes and leaves.not 1 word. Then the chicken fingers and fries.yeah.let's say not finished. Then after saying no more beer.left.empty glasses and we had for bill 20 mins later. I am not cheap.a SERVER!

Food is usually good. Disappointed that the food took a long time and the Fries and onion rings were cold, they refunded us $2 towards this! They weren’t even busy.

Good food, good drinks and great atmosphere. What more do you need? Other than love from a significant other. But I am sure you can find some love here too.

So much fun. Such a cool place. Watched a drag show, ate nachos and sipped on a martini. The service was great. This is a very charming place with a lot of personality. Highly reccomend.

Tuesday night performances with Ms Jada Hudson are always fun. Their wings are mediocre but I come for the super chill and fun drag performances. Very relaxed atmosphere.

I really like this place. Food is good and not expensive. I love nachos from here.mmm yummy and huge amount. Friday and Saturday they have really nice performances.

This fun atmosphere features live performances of drag queens that have great sense of humor and great moves at that. They're all you can eat wings on Tuesday features great options from the chef's imagination and their drinks never leave you thirsty

Not bad, pretty popular place. The staff is kind and the customers are aswell. Some of their drinks are kinda over priced tbh. I had their pasta with chicken and shrimp and it was yummy. Over all it was an okay visit

We visit here every few months and it's always a good time. The patio is great in the summer and Purple Rain is a fun cocktail to try. We had burgers this time and they didn't disappoint.
