Food is always delicious at a couple of good service,
I only find the lights are too bright so not really much to complain about you

Delicious menu - highly recomend the Reuben Spring Rolls.
This place has always had a great beer list.
And the roof top patio is beautiful

Waited for 1h with kids for the food and left since the kitchen didn't get to our order yet. The server didn't bother to re-fill our drinks or offer anything during entire time we waited

Came in on Tuesday for the $15 smoked wings and they are so good Sauce and fries are homemade, will be coming every Tuesday

The staff is very friendly here. There is a good selection of beer. The food is delicious, and the Wednesday $15 burger meal deal is great! The gravy for the poutine is homemade turkey gravy and full of flavour.

The waiter tried to short change me after giving him a 25% tip. I once thought this was the best place now I stay clear. I am just glad I didn't drink otherwise he would really rip you off

Food was good but great. Good selection of local craft beer. Somewhat pricey. Nice ambience. Good service.

Beautiful rooftop but a little pricey. Got the fish tacos, they were ok.nothing special. Cocktails are very good.

The drinks and food were great! If you're looking for a higher end twist to classic pub-style choices, this place is awesome. The Buffalo chicken wrap with house salad was very yummy

Not worth it guys! If you want to waste 45 minutes of your life for a meal welcome here!
Apart from that it’s fine. Waitresses are nice and the patio is good.
In conclusion. Don’t come in rush hours!

Mediocre experience. Waitress forgot half our order, but she was having shots at another table. I don't really care if you allow servers to drink on the job, but get the orders right. Got the special which was supposed to be seared tuna that day. It was overcooked and the vegetables on the side were inedible, literally soaked in vinegar. No price, expected it to be in line with other items on the menu, but was much more expensive when the bill came.

Feels like this place hit the covid-crunch hard, not the same as we remembered. Stick with a beer and a sandwich wrap if you decide to go here, the drinks and other food are not very good.

Had a really nice dinner with great wine and beer, the appetizer was a shrimp starter on rice, and my mother's salmon was the catch of the day. She was very impressed.

I had the chicken tacos and while they were satisfying and good I went for the turkey meatloaf. I ordered the turkey meatloaf. But the bartender had to come back and inform me they were all out. Disappointed, but not a huge deal. Will be back and will call ahead to make sure this signature dish is on stock.

UPDATE: . Returned last night with my parents! Victoria was excellent. She was patient and funny, personable and quick. Turkey meatloaf was in stock and I talked it up so much my dad had it as well and loved it. Excellent meal and service, can't wait to go back!

Went to churchills for the first time last night. Was very quiet at 930pm and surprised they were still open. Mike, the bartender, was a very kind and fun host for the evening. Lovely service and great drinks, definitely coming back and bringing my friends from work.

Dined at Churchills tonight. The smoked wings were crispy, spicy and delicious. The best part was the professional service from the bartender Mike! Had one of the best old fashions in a long time!

We were in at Churchills last night as a big group. We called ahead to let them know and were greeted by a rude server. We were ordering through a staff member who we know (Kingston) and the other man (Mike) rudely came over to take our order, interrupting our conversation with Kingston. We asked what time the kitchen closed and they said 11. At 10: 50 we asked if we could order food and they said yes. He was rushing us to order, telling us we had to hurry up or we couldn't order anything because he wouldn't punch it in. We said, can you give us a minute? To which he said "no you can get out of here, you're cut off". This is not the first time we've had a bad experience at Churchills. We thought we would give it another chance as it's been a few years since. Well, things have not changed. Very rude servers, impatient, and bad customer service. We ended up being a group of 30 who were drinking all night so they missed out on a lot of business and we will make sure we don't return.

Great location, vibe and service. Food is above average…I had the brisket poutine and the sauce was bland, but still good.

A nice little pub with a decent selection of local beers as well as a menu to suite anyone's palette. I particularly enjoyed their take on a Reuben sandwich. I will be back again!

I’m not gonna lie, I only went here because I’m pregnant and was having really bad cravings for Calamari. Which they did GREAT. Atmosphere was nice, they have a rooftop patio! Prices were as expected for somewhere on that street. Would go back!

Great roof top patio with a full tent top and heaters for cold nights. The food was really good, the service was friendly and they have a few good craft beer selections. I had their shrimp stew, which was delish, 2 others had fish and chips, which were very good, especially the fries. The other had their fish tacos and he said they were really good. We finished off with some cocktails. Perfect night.

Very friendly staff. I ordered the Cesar, and it was probably the worst I’ve ever had, which was unfortunate because I paid $15 for it. Then, I ordered the calamari, which again was very subpar. The atmosphere was pretty nice, and the facilities were clean. Overall I give a 3 star rating mainly because of the friendliness of the workers and the vibe of the place. The food/drinks were pretty bad.

Can’t decide what I liked more, the food or the staff! I always have a great time at Churchill’s and love the environment. I was served by Shneva and she was very friendly and provided great service! 11/10

Beautiful rooftop patio. It's like an oasis with a liquor licence. Our group had a number of dishes: salmon, burgers, brisket, and salad. Everyone was pleased with their food! Good beer list.

On the pricey side, but a tasty lunch.

Can't complain about the food at all, their Brazilian steak wrap was well done. The steak wasn't stringy as it often is when you get it in a wrap. The palm hearts were a nice touch and the flavor was good.

Good selection of beer and their rooftop patio was nice. Service is a little bit slow but I think that can be blamed on the stairs.

Very dissapointing. I called to make a reservation. They don't take reservations (ever!?) but the girl on the phone said there was plenty of space (on a Monday).
We rush to the restaurant and we're there within 5 minutes only for the hostess to say that they are full and there is a 40 minute wait.
This has happened before and I am tired of even trying. My business is now going elsewhere.poor handling of their customers.

Food was awful. Rice was over cooked and old, fish was questionable. The tacos were bland. Tried a cocktail that was more like watered down juice. Not impressed.

Great staff. Delicious food and drinks that go down a little to well. Looking forward to going back soon!

Awesome family owed and operated neighbourhood pub and eatery. Food is good, ambiance is awesome with a decent wine selection. They also have George Clooney tequila and a fun rooftop!

I needed comfort food on this grey dreary day and there it was, mac and cheese and bacon. Of course their 3 oz ceasar house special loaded with the portable salad pieces was a wonderful compliment.

One say I will remember to take a photo before I devour half!

Terrible experience tonight. As a longstanding patron of Churchill's I left insulted and regretful to have ventured out to support one of my favourite restaurants. A friend and I arrived and left our names being told it was a 30 minute wait which seemed reasonable. After 45 minutes of waiting we noticed a group of 4 people who arrived arrived well after us be offered a table. When I inquired to the bar tender I was coldly told that they were 4 and we were two. No apology, not a care in his voice. Had we been forewarned prior to deciding to wait that we would be offered a table along the restaurant's economical interests instead of first come, first serve we wouldn't have bothered waiting. Yes, they served four clients tonight but lost a local and faithful customer.

Fish is advertised as Haddock - IT ISNT (probably Tilapia or something of much less quality) - was also mushy and tastless.fries overcooked

Order a chicken wrap 13$, it was okay, nothing special. A tad expensive for what I got. The place is much like any bar you'd find in the area, good atmosphere for drinks and socializing.

They care about meat. They smoke their own meat and have great wings. Quality of their greens are also great. Bam!

Love the rooftop patio. Everyone taking proper safety precautions due to covid. Friendly staff and terrific food.

Great food, nice restaurant. Only thing was I couldn't book the patio for my group. During covid you would think you'd bend the rules so you don't have people waiting around to sit on the patio. But over all great time.

Came back to visit Ottawa after moving away a few years ago and this place is just as awesome as it has always been. Great beer selection, service, cleanliness etc. It is one of westboros little gems

Love this place. The food is wonderful, kids menu is great. They also have a good rotating beer selection.

Service last night was horrible. Ordered drinks for the table of 4 which took 20min to receive. The restaurant wasn't even full. Very disappointing. Kinda ruins the experience to start like that. At the end we sat for 20min with empty plates in front of us. That's kind of a big deal. Sorry, not rushing back anytime soon. Westboro offers lots of options to patrons.

That bar that's your second home. From a good selection of bar food, the culture that is a place to laugh and recollect speaks throughout this venue. The rooftop is a bonus but the comfort truly makes it a place for a communal gathering. Also, beer selections - can't go wrong at all here. So enjoy! Cheers!

Classic spot. Churchills is one of the holdovers from old Westboro and is aging beautifully and slowly. They have excellent wings, and the rest of the menu is decent too. The rooftop patio is a wonderful place to drink, and you feel like you're lording over the streets below. Service is excellent and prompt. Definitely a superior choice over the Barley Mow or other such competitors.

Basically our local.we spend far too much time here and the food and service are always great. Victoria is far and away the best server!

I find it is a bit overpriced and the food isn’t anything spectacular. I would rate my couple experiences here to be a B-. The decor inside is nice and beautiful. The staff is always friendly I’ve found. I wouldn’t bother making another visit though.

I love the food here so much that I went back three times in two days. I’m a huge fan of Southern cuisine and I’ve lived in the south for almost a decade and this is one of the few places in Canada that does it right. Generous portions and incredible food, the chef definitely has some creative and inspiring items on the menu. I love the wings here and they got me hooked to this place. I went back to try the buffalo chicken wrap, which was very good.

My favorite was the Reuben Sandwich, they made it extremely well and I believe they have their own smoked meat. Montreal style. I highly recommend trying it.

The portions are nice and generous, I really hate it when restaurants skimp on portions (especially when you consider the food mark up). I hate it even more when supposedly southern restaurants skimp on portions, however, this place does it well and you definitely won’t leave hungry or dissatisfied. The service was nice and polite as well.

I’ll be back and I highly recommend this place.

I have my lunch almost every Friday here.
Steak quesa, burger, fish and chips, chicken tacos, shepherd's pie, wraps. All very good, and best fries in Ottawa. If you have the room, upgrade the included fries to poutine. No they don't just add gravy/curds to the fries, they give you a full order of poutine. Extra of $3 only!

The upstairs patio is lovely, and there's a good selection of beer. The food was pretty good, though standard, pub fare. I love the option to do half dries, half salad.

The food is always amazing here. Cozy spot. Nice patio too. Parking is always a bit tough so try a side street.

Unfortunately not a good experience. We were four people last night for dinner and the staff were all running around.it took 10 minutes for somebody to finally acknowledge that we were there. The bartender came over and said she wasn’t our server but she could get us drinks so we started there. Then finally our server showed up and we ordered our meals. We ordered appetizers and main courses. We were only halfway through eating our appetizers when our waitress came over to tell us that our meals were ready and she had to bring them out now. She offered to leave them in the kitchen while we finished but they would have sat under a warmer. We were at a small table we had to make room and felt rushed finishing our appetizers and immediately came our meals. The food was very mediocre. Then the waitress came over and started clearing the table while people were still eating. Then she asked if we wanted anything else and We said not right now as we were feeling incredibly rushed. Immediately after that she brought the bill. It was a Saturday night and we came for a nice leisurely dinner and it was rushed and not a pleasant experience nor was it relaxed. We will not be returning.

Cozy pub atmosphere with a great shaded roof top patio in the summer. Food is good for the price and service is always great.
