Church's Texas Chicken

Came on a Sunday at 6PM and no wait. Great experience and the server was able to accommodate a special request of mix of mild and spicy chicken. We ordered the 12 piece family meal which included 2 sides and biscuits. Their biscuits are delicious, so much better than Popeyes! They're sweet, buttery and crumbly. For the sides we ordered the crinkle fries and onion rings. Both sides were really and would get again.

Would recommend and would come back.

The greeting was welcoming, ordering was easy. The delivery of my completed order, failed. I paid extra for my sauce for my chicken tenders. Didn’t even get 1/3 sauces. But I certainly got ketchup… gross. Spicy chicken with ketchup.oh fun. NOT. Not a good experience being my first time.

I usually go here for my breakfast and dinner because the chicken and tenders are really good and fresh they take only 2-3 mins to give orders which is there speciality. Besides that they offer free biscuit when you rate them and you can choose the part of chicken you need the Mexicana sandwich is worth every penny however i can say that because i am regular customer here and 9.5/10 times my experience is top notch please visit and give it a try far better than popeyes

Had to ask if the food was halal first certain things u have to make sure u do first the thirst in temptation be so little compared to staring at blazing fire bowling underneath u may Allah make this whole ummah of Mohammed able to cross this bridge with the duas they made for Muhammad S. A. W. May Allah bless this place if the food is halal and if not halal curse this place as bad as it may become bankrupt i dont play when seeking the truth crocodile teeth or tooth i cant wait to dive in this chicken again CHURCHS CHICKEN CONVENIENT FOR THE FAMS FOR Lunch AND DINNER.

Positives and negatives out of this experience. On the one hand, I can not fault the service or the biscuits; however on the other hand, I found the buns on my Mexicana to be a little stale/dry and the chicken also a little dry.

WHY on EARTH does this chicken ALWAYS taste and smell like it has been soaked in RAW FISH water? I never learn, actually…. I do, I just I made a mistake and order from this restaurant online instead of the one on Weston road ofcourse the food was disgusting, i have diarrhea ALL night! What’s Is happening with this restaurant? ! Gentrification?

Order your food and go for a LONG walk, when you're back MAYBE it'll be ready.

They really need to work on speeding up orders.

Edit: they've really upped their service rate and I don't have to wait too long anymore. Highly recommended.

$13 combo with two pieces of flavorless chicken and a very small portion of very soggy fries to go with it. No side salad either with that $13 combo? To my surprise, besides hot sauce they have no chicken sauces to offer unlike every other chicken joint! Their butter biscuits are the smallest I've ever seen and looks like a child's serving!

Worst experience ever both times, there’s these two girls with the worst attitude with no manners they rush you and don’t even get the order right and they hardly give you ketchup. The food is sometimes a day or two old if you bite into the chicken it has this disgusting smell n bad taste, never again please do not waste your money at this location.

Worst church’s chicken ever I’m sorry it was not it. Gave me stomach issues for days. The chicken felt undercooked and no flavor. The coleslaw made me gag and for a small family meal $50 yea, that was definitely not it. Go to a different one.

Got food here last night. The serving staff were very rushed, I asked if everything was in the bag, they assured me it was, got home and there was no gravy that I payed for. There was no one behind me and the cashier was rushing to take my order. Pros and cons of food…Con-The chicken was dry, my thigh was under cooked, and the fries were soggy. Pros- jalapeño poppers, Mac and cheese bites, and biscuits were amazing. For a chain doing a major rollout I found the overall experience very lacking and underwhelming. I wouldn’t recommend going here.

My name is J Wright and I purchase food from this location bI monthly and I normally do not post a review (good or bad) usually for any business, however, I 100% felt compelled to post one for this location, I was attended by an employee a.k. A "Jass" who went above and beyond the call of duty. She was very polite, courteous, knowledgeable and was very empathetic and sympathetic to my needs and wants. I was short 5 cents and she said don't worry about it. I was very hungry and I knew what I wanted. They ensured I got what I asked for and then some. I even called the store to thank them for a great meal after a long's day work when I finished all the 10 pieces. It was a great experience being served and a better experience eating DDDDEEEEElicious Texas Chicken. I highly suggest and recommend you, your loved ones, family and friends order from this location. 5 STAR ALL THE WAY! ! !

Literally the BEST chicken I have ever had! We got the spicy 16 piece, Spicy chicken sandwich and wow! Let me tell you, fresh and tasty food! The Jalapeno poppers were amazing and the biscuits! I could go on and on. The service was friendly so we'll 100% be back! The mac n cheese bites were great! Onion rings and crinkle fries *chefs kiss* I wish I could give a higher rating!

Man fry chicken have never taste so good it like having for the first time in your life. This place you want to be church chicken. Come with your hungry stomach grantees satisfaction. Yum yum

I ordered on Ubereats, and the food and drink all are wrong! I ordered two combo and only send to me 1 combo and drink was wrong too.

Almost every Monday I'll get the Mexicana Sandwich. Today I've called for more than 30 mins and kept getting their voicemail. When I reached there I question the guy and he just brushed it off.
I ordered my usual and got it in 5 mins. It was cold, bun was stale and the chicken was hard. Only the vege was fresh.
This is the last time I'm getting anything from this outlet.

Chicken was different. Fries were not amazing but that bun omg! Buttery, honey and crispy deliciousness!

Not bad for a first time try. The fries are amazing, but I believe the strip are better than the bone in chicken. Again just my opinion. It was a little on the salty side.

I have ordered several times from this location. The chicken is always juicy and crispy. It has always been take out. I will ordering from this location it is way better that other chicken restaurants I have ordered from.

The chicken and Oreo churros were delicious! I personally like Church’s Chicken more than Popeyes, KFC and Jollibee’s. However, this location forgot to give me the four biscuits I ordered through UberEats.

I tried this to compare with Popeyes as well lol. I like this more! I haven’t tried the sandwich though so I can’t review that. Spicy chicken was perfect! The biscuits were the best. A lot fluffier than Popeyes and with a sweet crispy crunch. The Jalapeño poppers are for the brave. It’s quite spicy but perfect if you normally eat spicy food. I don’t think I will go back to Popeyes after trying this. However, the fries are a bit on the basic side but still very good.if you guys season your fries with mild/spicy seasonings it will be even better. Thank you!

Tried it out. Chicken was good. Got a family deal. 12 piece chicken 2 sides and 6 biscuits. Only tried the fries. Would have liked to try other options too.

Only con is I find it quite expensive for what it is and only slightly better than its competitors. Lots of the menu I have yet to try

No issues with the food, but several with the service. Every time I have ordered at this location, I've been met with awful customer service. The employees have an attitude, they always forget something in my order, and unnecessarily long wait times because they're busy standing and staring rather than preparing the one order they have. Never coming back.

Needed to try to compare to Popeyes. The classic chicken sandwich didn't have much crisp to it and was underwhelming in flavor. Biscuits we thought were better than Popeyes. Rather than just buttery flavor, they were extra fluffy and the honey top was a yummy touch. The Jalapeno poppers were a tad spicier then expected but we're actually good, super crispy on the outside and do pop when you bite into them. All in all might go back to try the fried chicken one day but would probably stick with Popeyes.

Preferred " church's chicken". Texas chicken has way too much batter on the chicken. Most of the chicken is batter

Amazing food. And fresh. Affordable too. A cross between KFC and swish chalett lol. Only better.

Positives - Chicken pieces were large and the serving size of fries was generous (see negatives). Price was in line with Popeye's. Honey biscuits were an interesting change.

Negatives - Fries are nothing to write home about. Look and taste like frozen McCain's crinkle cut. They were soggy, although that tends to be the nature of takeout fries!

Service was a 2 - I ordered 2 of the 4 piece combos, each 1/2 spicy and 1/2 regular. I noticed she rung the order up as 1 spicy and 1 regular. I specified to please have 1/2 and 1/2 in each box because they were going to separate houses for dinner. Server said ok. Time to wait was 15 minutes, came back in 20, the order was boxed up with all the spicy in 1 and all the reg in the other. I explained again what I needed, she responded that that is how it was. Thankfully the manager was nearby, he overheard and understood and came to rectify the issue, which was nice. I also had to ask for my drink cups and when the food was opened at home (s), one meal was missing the biscuit.

Overall, I would have Church's again if I were in the area, but certainly wouldn't go out of my way.

I was in the area and saw a new restaurant of Church’s Chicken in Jane Park plaza.
Tried their sandwich and tenders combos. Spicy tenders were delicious. Tax supreme sandwich was also very tasty (fillet in the sandwich was fresh). Biscuit and sandwich were much much better than Popeyes.

Absolutely amazing chicken burger! The patty was tender, juicy and huuuge.price wise it’s a steal. Also the biscuit was delightfully tasty. Highly recommended. Try it, and you’ll know where Popeyes and other’s stand. Was my first time, but will definitely come back soon and then keep coming back.next one to try is the jalopeno poppers.

Bought 2 ribs cost 9.00 a little pricey but I noticed they aren't pulling the fat off the ribs so it looks bigger how ever its really noticed when you peel off the skin to eat doesn't look the greatest so please remove the fat off all pieces. As a former KFC manager in the 80s we always pulled the fat off all raw chicken before cooking. Over all good friendly staff and location was much needed in our area.
