Used to be good but getting worse and worse now. Ordered chicken, wings, burger and fried. Diet Coke is the best

Purchased 3 piece chicken, last night.chicken was fresh and the fries were fresh too. BUT you would expect the dessert which is there lovely golden brown biscuit to be nice n fresh instead it was HARD AS A ROCK.you could even bite it or even break it. DAMN i was sooooo DISAPPOINTED. NEVER AGAIN!

I don’t normally eat fried chicken but once in a long time may have a craving. This place did the job of fulfilling my craving with a good price. The chicken drumsticks pieces are large and spicy ones are particularly good. I just wish the sanity could be improved with proper usage of gloves by the staff.

It was good, was, until today. Either the chicken or the cooking oil was not fresh, or maybe both. The chicken tastes soggy and the oil smells unpleasant. I feel sad because this was my first choice for fried chicken.

Best place for fast food. Food is very delicious and fresh, juicy chicken. Amazing customer service by Sandeep and pallavi. They both treat everyone with polite and humble way. Love to visit this place again.

Worst fried chicken i ever had in my life… first of all we should have left the place seeing no customers at all… we ordered the 4pc chicken combo with fries, biscuit and coke… the chicken was dried inside due to continous heating and was not edible at all… plus the spice coating had a wierd taste… anybody planning to order from here…my sincere advise - DONT!

I have been to this location few other times but this time is the customer service was really very disappointing. The girl who was manager im not sure was so so rude was throwing stuff here and there. She messed up with my order. Really disappointed

Very rude staff, slow even when it’s not busy. Food was peak mid, go to Popeyes or Hmart for better food and more polite staff

Worst customer service. The two girls working there had no idea what my order was i ordered two and she gave me only one.

Horrible experience. Chicken was so dry and was probably old. Gave wrong dipping sauce, the fries portion was a tiny little handful and they were soggy. Wish I looked at their other DoorDash reviews before ordering.

Refused to serve me the daily special because the franchise owner said they aren't allowed to serve discount food after midnight.

The girl who was managing has no idea how to talk with the customers. If u cant do long shifts go home and take rest rather than yelling on customers

I have ordered from this location several times in the past and it was delicious, but the most recent order was so bad that I wouldn't recommend it. I ordered the 8pc family meal (spicy), it came with a large fries, and 4 biscuits. I added jalapeno poppers and onion rings. This is what I regularly order from church's.

I specified spicy for all pieces of chicken, yet they gave me an entire box of non-spicy, which was not what I ordered. Half of the onion rings were either old, or overcooked because they were stale. Some of the jalapeno poppers also tasted like they've gone bad; I had to toss them. The biscuits were great as usual.

When I tried to make a phone call to ask about my wrong order, they never picked up.

I will not be buying from this location moving forward.

Ordered 12 pc's chicken through ubereats and mentioned in the notes that I need spicy along with hot sauce. Ended up getting all mild and not even a single packet or hot sauce. I am not a picky person but the food was for some friends who wanted to try decent spicy fried chicken. Highly disappointed.

Tried the BBQ chicken sandwich. It would have been good if not cold (and it being cold has me concerned about safety). The chicken was cold. The Kraft slice was cold and unmelted (this tells me the chicken was never hot, that there was no way it had started hot and cooled on my way).
It was also unpleasant because it was cold.
Do better.

Tables were dirty ketchup on floor chicken was bland and tasteless will probably never eat at this store again. No washroom hand sanitizer empty a very poor experience

Not tasted the same. Less salt and more over no explanation even after asking. Previous experience was good but today it was disappointing

If you like fast food fried chicken church's is an excellent option and imo better than the other chains.

Honey butter biscuits are the best in the game and this location did them exceptionally well!

Friendly employees, quick service and good food. They were out of root beer and iced tea when i showed up and the manager ran back and changed it as fast as he could

Legit thought I caught covid because the chicken I got seems unseasoned. I don't know if it's just forgotten for this batch. It's easily fixed with some sauce. The chicken are generous size and beautifully cooked. The biscuit is the best honey butter biscuit I have ever had! It's crispy outside and moist inside.

It serves fried chicken, and since I love fried chicken I had Churches. It needs to have honey and hot sauce, to me that makes a more perfect fried chicken

This is one of the most unprofessional locations I've been. I went tonight to get the daily special but the manager told me that the daily special doesn't start until next day. I literally went on a Saturday and the manager says Saturday specials don't start until next day and he wanted to charge me full price. The manager was extremely rude to me as well.don't go here!

This location is one of the most horrible Church's chicken locations I've been to.
I walk in the store and was just waiting for someone to help me, no one greeted me or offered help, they were chatting in the kitchen and the other person was busy on the ipad or tablet, they didn’t even care that a client was there waiting. I waited over 4 minutes then said " Hellooo do you see me here" to be actually helped!
This is not the first time I experience this at this specific store, they never greet you and don't really care about their customers.
Aside from that, I have placed an order on Uber Eats for pick up, my order on the app was suppsoed to take 10 to 20 minutes, I was advised after I placed the order that it will take 19 minutes, which is fine, but then it took over 40 minutes from the time I placed the order to say it's ready (this is a FAST FOOD place, it shouldn’ttake that long!). I was waiting outside the restaurant until I got the app notification saying my order is ready, when I went inside the store after all that wait, I found out that my order wasn't ready nor packed! I had to watch them preparing it in front of me and waited extra 9 minutes for the order.
Horrible, horrible staff and store. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I called in at 2: 27am for a pickup order and I was told it would take 10-15 mins. It’s currently 2: 58 and I still have not received my food. I work a night shift and only receive a 30 minute break. My whole break has gone into waiting for food that I made sure I ordered before I got on break. This is absolutely unacceptable

Food is pretty good. They said the chicken would take 10 minutes to be ready but it actually took 21.

The best chicken franchise with the most friendly staff! Food quality is amazing and the place is very spotless! Love this place and I can’t stop going back! Everyone needs to definitely try it!

Waited 20 mins for chicken that they told me would take 10 mins. Very short on staff and it shows.

The lady at the front tried upsold me on a combo. Said they don't sell Individual pieces even though I just bought a piece the week before. We went back and forth for bit because she was lying to me. She charged me for an extra chicken breast even though I had asked to change it back to thighs. I love church's chicken since I was a kid but this place is ruining its name. The chicken breast they gave us tasted dry like it was deep fried twice to rewarm it up. The jalapeño poppers were underwhelmingly small in portion (6 pieces) and not spicy. They only have 1 washroom stall so waiting just to wash my hands took some time. When its dead, the lady goes and socializes in the back and you have to wait until she comes back out to ask for sauces because the chicken was so dry. Subpar service. Maybe try their other location but this place is not worth the money. Highly disappointed. I was so disgusted with the place, I didn't take pictures of that meal. Pictures reflect one of my first visits.

Found this little restaurant while walking down the Yonge street corridor.
It caught my eye and decided to give it a try.
The place is nothing special, very narrow and might feel a bit claustrophobic to some.
To my surprise the staff were super friendly and informative.
I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, side of mashed potatoes/gravy and a coke.
Oh my God, the sandwich was beyond delicious, piping hot, juicy and spiced just right. The mashed potatoes were great and even though the biscuit was sweet it was baked to perfection and complimented the saltiness of the sandwich perfectly.
15 minutes into my meal a staff member came out to ask me how my experienced had been?
I couldn't lie, I was blown away by the taste and freshness of their product.
I told her I was pleasantly satisfied and will be coming back for a second helping in the future.
Give it a try, I think you'll be blown aways as I was.

So glad to have them downtown. Great quality fried chicken and biscuits. I don't remember them having the same recipe for the biscuits since I think the ones they have now are so much better because it's a little sweet and the texture is great. Beats Popeye's on so many levels. The staff were also friendly and pleasant.

8 peppers chicken pieces cannot be purchased without being forced to get a side. Manager confirm it isn't possible. Canada doesn't work that way guys. If I want to buy chicken why are you forcing me to pay for fries.

Being my first visit to this establishment I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff. I made q comment about never being here before and they gave me a biscuit to try and omg so good. Food quality is way better the KFC and Popeyes hands down. Keep up the good work

Fries are crinkled style. Crispy. Right amount of salt. Right amount of crunch.
Chicken is made in large batches but still fresh tasting. Has a crispy outter, with juicey and tender meat.
Chicken was greasy but not overly greasy like kfc. *ran through 2 napkins turning them transparent* Comparable to popeyes but better in my opinion.
The honey biscuit was soft, warm and tastey. I got the 2pc meal with fries and honey biscuit for 8 bucks. Enough to feed an adult. Ppl with large appetites may consider the 3pc combo.
I found the combo to be very filling. Next time i will opt for a sandwich & no sides. As the 2pc combo was alot of food for me (petite adult female).
Would be my first chain pick for fried fast food chicken on the yonge strip.

Finally a friend chicken place that isn't KFC or Popeyes.
Tenders are great, fries are good, and the biscuits are really good. There's a nice little glaze on them that makes them just a bit crunchy.
Haven't tried sandwiches yet so only 4 stars for now.
It's a very clean place too. That's partly because it's new, but still, cleanliness is why I don't ever eat from KFCs or Popeyes on Yonge St, they just always seem so dirty. This place is almost spotless so far.

I must say food was fresh and taste amazing.
Also staff was very friendly and helpful.
Overall it was great experience definitely will visit again with family.

Ordered via skipthedishes. My order was still hot and fresh. However, they did screw up and forget my biscuits. HOW DARE YOU FORGET THOSE YUMMY HONEY BUTTERED DELIGHTS?
