What an fantastic restaurant! Authentic Portuguese food and an excellent wine list. Great for an intimate meal or dinner with friends. Highly recommended.

Their chicken and salted cod is delicious aa always:)

Will be back to try their seafood platters - heard some great things about them and hopefully will redeem my -1 star from a perfect 5.

Adrianna was our server, she absolutely killed it! My moms birthday we celebrated here we ordered a sea food boat, my mom has very serious celiac issues.

Adrianna has a very nice approach to her customers with funny jokes, very fast service and taking in the extremely high factor my mom has celiac and talking to the chefs
& making sure nothing is cross contaminated.

The food is really good, as is the atmosphere, but we waited almost an hour and a half for the dishes to arrive.
We were in a group of 20 people, with a predefined menu. Lucky for us, the waitress (Melanie - thank God for her life) was very kind and patient, because when we asked for the bill, it was the biggest inconvenience, since the establishment does not allow division of the bill or even dividing the order by family in advance.
We arrived 1: 15pm and left 5pm

But, if you are a patient person and love a really good food, I certainly would recommend this place.

We had the grilled seabass, delicious. The waiter was very courteous. Will definitely go back

If you're looking for a great authentic Portuguese style mean you gotta try this spot. We were a party of 6 who all tried different dishes and not one complaint. We started with the seafood platter and OMG the sauce they cook the seafood in was incredibly tasty. We had to order a second bread basket just to keep dipping that sauce. The seafood was very fresh and cooked perfectly. A couple of us ordered 2 different steak dishes which were also tender and cooked perfectly. The fish was also fresh! There were also 2 clam dishes (each dish had a different variety of clams) that were so tasty it had people eating beyond there capacity lol.
The restaurant had a very home style feel that resembled many restaurants I have been to in Portugal.
Over all we will say it was worth our 1.5 hour drive to this restaurant and will be coming back again.

One of my favorite spots to eat when in Toronto and craving a good portuguese meal. Carne de porco à alentejana was superb!

Not worth the price. You would think with such an expensive menu you would get a $0.50 bun cut up with butter for free, but nope! I paid $20 for half a chicken and plain rice. The chicken was just your typical Portuguese style churrasqueiro chicken. My husband had a steak meal and again, boring rice and the vegetables I’m sure are pickled jarred and not fresh. Save yourself money and go to a place like Bairrada that knows how to treat their guests. Free bread and you get potatoes and rice with your meal for a fraction of the price.

This was our first time here. The food was very very good and our waitress Maria was very attentive and very good at her job.
Will definitely be back.

Delicious, authentic Portuguese food with a wide variety of choices, good service, and great atmosphere

First time here. Soo yummy. We got vegetable rice, potatoes and piece of crispy fish. Everything was very flavourful and perfectly cooked.

First time here and OMG what a lot of food! Had the family pack which had a whole chicken, potatoes and rice! Great food for the price!

I placed an order via uber and unfortunately this is the second time I ordered from here. First time received cold food and chicken was extremely dry. Tried to give them another chance and again food was very cold and chicken was very dry like it has been sitting out for awhile. Also they didn't even provide any hot sauce. Unfortunately I will not be ordering from this place again!

Would like to thank Martin's from catering my parents 50th anniversary, spoke with a kind man name Eliseu who took my order and I was reassured that everything was going to be amazing, he even called over the chef (sorry can't remember the name) 2x so I can speak with to make sure everything was going to be special for that day. Food arrived on time, hot in their thermal bags and was delivered by the owner. Thank you so much, the food is what we already have experienced and was absolutely perfect.

Best fresh grilled fish in the city. They cook a whole fish perfectly. Never overcooked like most places. Piri piri shrimp great. Excellent chicken. Prices are reasonable

I've had a ton of Portuguese chicken places across Toronto but this is definitely my favourite one! The chicken is really good, pretty made over charcoal grill. Fish is also really good, cooked perfectly each time I've ordered it. Portion sizes are pretty generous especially the sides like potatoes and fries. Last but not least their peri peri? I could swim in it, its so good. This restaurant is a must try if you like grilled foods.

Though my cesar salad was typical, but my business partner's grill squide and lamb was amazing.

Very good food! Quality is always on point. The reasons for 4 stars instead of 5 is sometimes the service is off, I know they are a busy place but sometimes it feels like they can't be bothered with your business when you call for a table. But if you can get a table - absolutely a great place for Portuguese food.

Just tried my very first sandwich @ Yonge & Dundas.time to hop in the car and make this place one of my favourites.

July 2, I was there for a lunch with my wife and baby child. Order everything all at once and didn't get decent service at all. Just for grilled lulas and a basket of bread was 25 mins, not to mention the place wasn't busy. I've been to this location so many times and I'm shocked how bad the service and lack of care for our table, another 40 mins later I get my steak and sides not cooked to the desired tenderness (medium). While eating no server came to check on us, top up my beer or even asked how everything was. After a discussion with a staff member about how bad of a day/meal everything was they said sorry and they felt bad offering a dessert. We wanted out and just didnt wanna be there anymore, especially when people are getting food before us after ordering later then us. Wasn't impressed today with Martin's spent good money for poor service and care.

I ask for full chicken BBQ and it comes 3/4, potatos recooked many times and terrible taste, brown rice not tasty. Real regret.

I have no relation to the business, however this place is the spot in Toronto for Portugese food. Their chicken is awesome and so is the steak.

Ordered takeout and the baked potatoes were highlight. Meat and chicken were good, got them with fries and beans too, nicely seasoned.

The food here is incredible - some of the best Portuguese chicken. The rice and potatoes were delicious. They handled a last minute change to my order without issue. Would definitely eat here again.

THEY CAN NOT READ ORDER NOTES. IT'S A SAFETY HAZARD. ORDER AT YOUR OWN RISK. I've ordered from them 3 times on UBEReats and every time they give me UNDERCOOKED food, even though I always tell them I want it well done. I called the restaurant several times and they never pick up the phone either.

They used to be good. Extremely disappointed that they changed their packaging. It’s expensive and quantity is so much smaller now. It’s half of what you used to get with their white foam containers. We got their “family package 2” and it’s a bit laughable at what they give as “large” rice and potatoes.

I’m thankful there are plenty of Churrasqueira restaurants around the area because I’m 100% sure you can get better quantity with quality for your money.

So I've had the food, amazing. But I'm also gonna talk about the music. I'm sure this is where it comes from and emanates throughout the parking lot. Just gotta say, whoever is playing that music has amazing taste. If I have the wrong place, please let me know lol and I love the food here, always come back for more.

I've had my share of portugese grills and this one fell short. Maybe because I ordered takeout an hour before closing time or whatever the reason, the quality of the food suffered. I ordered the quarter chicken, with extra side chicken, rice, salad and sumol. The chicken was stale and over-salted. All i could taste was the salt and hard chicken (not juicy or fresh). The rice was ok. I think I only enjoyed the salad out of this whole meal. Very disappointed.

Always cheap and reliable good food. Usually very oily so if you have issues with lots of oil then it's not the place for you. I usually get the quarter chicken plate.

I came here with a party of 5 for a birthday dinner. The restaurant was very busy but we were lucky to get a reservation later in the evening. We ordered 4 dishes: a special, a seafood appetizer, a seafood rice bowl, and an octopus dish, all of which were very delicious.

On top of the service, I would recommend this place because the food was definitely worth the price. It may seem like an expensive restaurant, but the specials are very reasonable in my opinion. Meals come with bread, balsamic vinegar and olive oil. I honestly don't know if it was an authentic Portuguese experience, but it was good!

Bread was very doughy, and not in a good way. The mussels I had for an appetizer were not very good. The mussels were gritty, and the sauce was bad. The seared tuna steak was quite good. A large wine selection was also available. Atmosphere was cozy. Overall, it was okay. Would come again.

Horrible service, food wasn't good, and so over priced. Save your money and your time, and go elsewhere!

Good food and atmosphere. The formal restaurant side is an updated traditional space with great service and food. If you're up for a quick bite, you can still get lots great food options at a great price on the take out side, pick what you want and get table service for your beverages. Note that during the holidays, they are especially busy with large take out orders so I would avoid going.

Over rated full of Portuguese people speaking there language and smell like fish good service but not a place to go
I can go elsewhere and get same quilt food

This is a nice Churrasqueira located in the west end on Rogers Rd. They have a pretty decent menu of fish and meats. We tried the chicken and I'm not going to lie it was amazing. Very tender and perfect on the inside with crispy and hits of salty skin on the outside. Their fries are exactly like Swiss Chalet fries which were great too! Definitely recommend giving them a try!

This review is about the St Clair take out location. After a poor experience a few months ago we decided to try it again and give it a second chance. The restaurant was empty so we ordered two fresh rotisserie whole chickens for $30, not cheap. It was extremely dry, bland and without any sauce, even after being asked if we wanted any. Probably was cooked too long. The staff was disinterested and took their sweet time. Look elsewhere. Maybe their Rogers location is better but better choices are close by.

Amazing Portuguese food! They never disappoint. I’ve come to this restaurant many times and their service and food are always wonderful. One thing I must say though is their prices are a little bit on the expensive side.

Best sea food I've had in Toronto. The place is fancy for the area, it was a real surprise. The house wine is delicious. It's expensive but well worth it. However their specialties are better than their pub fare.
The deserts are heavenly. The service is good, the food is amazing. I will definitely be back.

Love this place. Seafood heaven. Amazing steak, chicken. I usually order the sea bream, grilled squid or pork and clams. This time I had the $25 surf and turf special which was amazing and included grilled lobster tail, grilled lamb, grilled steak. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is it's always busy and service can be improved.

Solid Portguese-style hot table. Great, tasty food - some a bit on the oily side. There is a seating area with decent tables. Service is fantastic.

Big portions, good quality - depending on the day, wait staff might be overwhelmed or stressed out. Overall, great food!

I have heard about Martin's millions of times from the Portuguese community. I was told that they are Simply the Best and I must admit it was amazing very very large portions and the chicken on the charcoal was fantastic. They're hot sauce or as it's called piri piri was excellent. I'm used to the other Portuguese restaurants with two sides this place overloads the sides so one is enough very good experience very good service. Was told by one of the owners to try the restaurant next time will definitely be going back.

We got catering from here based on a referral for an event we were having. Unfortunately the feedback we got on the food was not positive - we ordered the roast beef and it was tough, smelly and not really edible. The chicken and sides of potatoes and rice were good, but nothing extra ordinary. I would not order from here again and definitely would not recommend them for any parties or events catering.

Delicious! The food was perfect. The service was great. Definitely coming back. Their piri piri sauce is a delight.

We heard so many positive things from this restaurant by so many people that we decided to give it a try. We visited couple days ago and we were definitely not disappointed. Food was beyond DELICIOUS!

I reserved a table of 8 weeks ago for March 2nd dinner.
This was a significant birthday dinner for my mom.

The food was great.

The atmosphere and service is horrible.
Music is too loud.

The service team is not attentive at all.
We planned on an evening of dining and drinking and we barely saw our server. Infact, we commented that we only drank one bottle of wine and the reason was because the server never came by.

Also never served the wine.

We decided to have dessert somewhere else

Also the tables are way too close and tight.

The complete layout of the restaurant is very unsophisticated and a mess.

I would recommend treating your customera with some class and not as a bunch of sardines.

Big portion, lot of options great take out food BUT my husband (not Portuguese) and I went to the restaurant side for dinner when we walked in everyone stopped and looked at us, I asked for a table we we're told there was none available even tho there was an empty table in front of us, I'm guessing if ur not Portuguese your not welcomed. Seemed more like a members only restaurant.

Food was good but had to send back my steak was not well done like I asked but was great when they cooked it to my liking.

Had a bad start when 3 dishes we selected from the specials were finished for the night. But the dishes we ended up getting still managed to wow us. Prices were on the high side but the portion was generous and high quality. Will return for my grilled octopus and suckling pig.
