CIBC Branch (Cash at ATM only)

Had an appointment booked with Merey Slibi today and she was so friendly and helpful. Guided me through every process smoothly and helped me with my doubts. I was so happy with her service and will definitely prefer her for the future banking needs.

I originally gave it 1 star. Called to book an appointment during business hours. Got the voicemail recording so I left my contact. No one contacted me. Called the next day and the same thing happened. In the evening when I was on the highway there was a call from them, which I wasn't able to answer before it hang up. I called back in 5 minutes and got the voicemail again.

Decided to try my luck and went there by person. It was 5: 15pm, there had been 1 client standing in front of me and talking to the only receptionist. For about 20 minutes I was just standing behind him without the receptionist or any other clerk paying any attention to me. Finally the receptionist asked me if I had any question. NO, I WAS JUST STANDING IN THE LINE WATCHING YOU GUYS, RIGHT?

Finally a lady went out from her office and made an appointment for me with Osama Agha for the next day. I met him and he was very helpful and friendly. He is the reason I change the rating of this branch to 3 stars.

A branch in such a high traffic location with only 1 receptionist and no tellers, definitely is not the correct answer for clients' requests.

Extremely slow branch. The advisors just sit in their room and stare at you rather than coming up and offering to help clear the line.

Their systems need to be upgraded and be more efficient, atleast for business clients who are short on time.

Pooja was extremely helpful however, it’s not the staffs fault, when you have 1 person attending to questions and there’s a full line. Every advisor should get up and help in times like these. I’m glad I don’t bank with CIBC

Make you wait all day only to tell you they can’t do what you requested something as simple as making a draft. Can only use atms here otherwise stand forever at the main desk. What’s the point of this branch?

I don’t know why this branch is open there’s no tellers. The staff directs you to use the atm. I don’t like the direction the banks are headed. By having atms replacing staff you create longer wait times and bigger issues. Also why is this branch closed after hours?

I am pleasantly surprised by the service of this branch. I am new to Canada. But I am very glad that my first experience with the bank in Canada was just that.
