We are new immigrants to Canada, and wanted to open our first bank account in CIBC. Compared to other CIBC branches in Brampton, I was able to find an appointment at this branch for an earlier date. I called a day earlier and they were able to accommodate us the same day at a short notice. The branch is supposedly an advice center, so there won't be any bank tellers compared to other branches. Bhakti was our financial services representative and was helping us out with opening our bank accounts and was very patient in answering all our questions. She went over all the details and made sure all our concerns were met. Overall we had a good experience with CIBC.

I needed to refinance my mortgage. 3 months ago Agnesa at CIBC Argentia Branch introduced me to Rajat Sehajpal. He is very informative and professional. Here's what I can tell you about Rajat.
1. He got back to me right away if I had any requests or questions.
2. He took the time to find out the best rate for me.
3. He was with me through the whole process and provided constant updates.
I appreciate his work. I will come back to him for my next mortgage needed and introduce him to my family and friends.

Do yourself a favor, DO NOT BANK with CIBC, get passed around different departments for just about everything, terrible communication once you speak to the department you needed to, and have no issues charging you fees for there own mistakes.should have left CIBC 25 years ago, 3 months of there fraud department telling me to wait until your contacted, "we've escalated your case, you will be contacted with a few business days". After a week i would call for an update only to hear the exact same line. 3 months of this, and all the accrued overdraft and insufficient charges thanks to a CIBC and hacker combo, I was met with, and I quote, "well you owe CIBC this money". To anyone who reads this do yourself a favor and take your money elsewhere, I certainly will be.

Each time I go to the branch the staff is so helpful. Went for a draft today and Amit and Preethi were fantastic! Excellent customer service and support!

Worst experience ever in banking with CIBC. I need to send money to my friend in emergency (with cibc as well). The front guy asked rudely to show my ID. I presented GOVT ISSUED ID and all cards I have with CIBC and they said we can’t do it with this IDs. Thing is that I have updated that govt ID with them when I did my last transaction in branch and still he said it’s not updated in our system even in a month. WTF isn’t it their systems fault! Front guy went to his senior and he rudely said we can’t do it even if I presented all id with same address. So upset!

I don't even bank with CIBC but very good experience I had here. Stephanie the manager was very helpful
