I feel like the last thing this branch needs to worry about is customer service. Please focus on customer wait time. It is too slow. I waited 45 minutes with 3 ppl in front of me.

Worst experience! They don’t care about your questions, your waiting time, the front door lady even don’t care about your money. Sad, you don’t want my money, I will give to other banks! Worst hiring decision, worst management!

No help from the workers and they always seem to mess up something. My husband and mom both had Cibc but they always charge weird interests. When I called them to question about it, they kept diverting it to the next caller and finally said that I should wait or mail them a letter. Wait for around 2.5 months and no response so we decided to cancel everything with bank.

Horrible customer service from the moment you walk in. I made an appointment to open an account, I told the worker at the front and she just walked away from me and I had to find someone else to help me. The worker helping with my account set up was no better, didn’t ask me questions about what account I wanted or how I would like it set up. He spelled my name wrong on the documents and didn’t realize till the end when I told him so I had to spend extra time waiting for him to redo everything. Didn’t help me with setting up my PIN either just gave me my card and told me to go to an ATM and I couldn’t do it because he didn’t set the card up properly so I had to go back to him and wait longer for him to fix it. Overall horrible experience don’t recommend this branch for any banking services

Today I got Maria to resolve the issue with my global money transfer. Unfortunately she couldn’t solve the problem. But I really appreciate her for The initiative that she took. Thank you

You rather go to different location than here. They known for being super slow like they dont care. Went there 2 times and they make you hate the whole Bank. The best one is Markham and Sheppard CIBC. Go there ro save time and to get better help.

If I could give a zero I would. Unhelpful staff when my card was hacked and fraudulent activities occurred. They also told me to they cannot help me recover any of the fraudulent amount. After I close all my accounts and reopened new accounts they did not update my mortgage to the new account. A terrible headache and experience. Do not bank here

I am also sitting with one of the agent who is incapable with the questions she is asking. Honestly if I didn’t have all this work to cancel and update from one to another

Signed up for a new student bank account here on the premise that I would be getting a $300 credit and $100 Amazon Gift card. The guy that signed me up neglected to mention that student accounts are ineligible for those offers and basically shortchanged for $400, which is very deceptive as the guy signing me up kept promising that I'd receive those promos. Dealing with their customer support and they won't do anything about it. You're better off going somewhere else for your banking needs.

Very bad customer service and one of the customer did not have a mask he was in side and I ask the front disk why you let him to inside no answer form her.and I was waiting half and hour and I left. I never go this branch and I will switch my bank

Asked for a simple Profile summary with a bank stamp for immigration purpose and got a reply from one of the representatives is we don't give that document and neither we stamp it. Where's all other banks do it without any hesitation and for free.

Despite the long line-up and low number of tellers, the gentleman in the front named Nima was very knowledgeable and answered all my online banking questions and setup everything I needed

Made appointment with Chintan Oza for 3pm and he comes to his cabin at 3: 30 and then starts yelling at 2 other officers back and forth in the cabin knowingly I am waiting. Calls me with his assistant at 3: 48 he couldn’t even come get me. Then being very unreasonable, even though this is my home branch to cash a cheque which I have done in the past. Trying to raise their voice and show power. Then manager Elena Kolevski comes in and acts even more powerful and just let’s me walk out of the office. No apologies for the fact they made me wait 40 mins despite having an appointment just to have their arguments amongst co-workers. Then the manager says Chintan must have been in a meeting. You only waited a little bit as if our time is not valuable when we have appointment. Can’t believe the lame excuse when I saw everything happening in front of my eyes but manager did not know 3 of them were fighting in the cabin and that there was no client meeting. First I was told Chintan was on lunch during a time I had appointment. It’s like a market here- no professionalism to extend I have take my time out to write this.

Was directed to Ketha to resolve an issue with the credit card. Apparently, a representative from the branch had to call the customer service and confirm the identity. While the call, we were on hold, she suggested that we can get a new credit card to resolve the issue, I rejected. Then, she offered to open a savings account, which I again rejected. She then suddenly became late for an appointment scheduled for 3pm at 2: 50pm.

I don't understand how opening a new card will solve the problem. The agents need to be trained better.

I am still giving three stars because the gentleman at the front was very friendly and moved us with another agent, Jobby, he resolved the issue. Jobby was friendly and went above and beyond to help us.

Never picks up branch line, wastes your time.

Honestly might liquidate everything in CIBC, not just cause of above but other reasons such as other banks getting me mortgage approvals faster than my OWN banking institution.

Step your game up.

The employees are nice and everything but There's a line of more than 6 people and only two employees behind 5 desks. Meanwhile theres a couple just walking around with their coffees and just looking at the line and moving on

Terrible experience. Had 2 simple request for the FA and neither one was done. Had to follow up with cibc customer service via phone to get the request resubmitted. Wasted hours on a simple request.

I dont normally bank at CIBC but came with my mom since she banks here.its 12: 18pm with a long line and people have been waiting for more than one hour. With a large rush like this i still cant believe that tellers are going for lunch in the middle. If i was the manager i would have asked my staff to stay a bit more to get through the rush. Extreamly disappointed CIBC!

As busy as they always are, Lisa was very professional, helpful and, more importantly, patient while assisting me. I admire the service they provide and want to express my appreciation to this branch.

Picked up credit card but apparently the branch did not enter it in the system so the card can not be used.and now i was told i need to go back to the branch again! Because they did not do it properly and I am the one that needs to suffer? And how will i know they will enter my information? I am not the one doing the entry.also i went to the main branch downtown yesterday and was told there was no issue - another incompetence as when i called the 1-800 for the cc - i was told there was an issue.sucks!
i left voicemail for manager to call me- i hope he does and sort this out or else i am just cancelling this card.

Garbage branch. Terrible service, make people wait 30 min or hour without saying a word. Staff just running around doing nothing
