It is the best banking service I have ever had in my life. I received very friendly and highly professional service from financial advisor Ted (Guanxiong) Zhu. He used his professional knowledge to help me resolve problems and gave me very useful investment advice. I will definitely recommend him to all of my friends who need investment advice and help!

Today I came to the cibc bayview village teller Maryam G. Was very helpful.she assists me with all my transactions patiently, she solve my problems and her knowledge of products is great.she is very kind and patient, Maryam is one of the best.thank you Maryam.

Quite an unsatisfactory experience I'd say. The financial services officer I dealt with was totally clueless and unfortunately that turned out to be true with their "back-office" as well. Frankly I do expect a bit more from a CIBC branch.

The Incompetency is just glorious at this branch. It’s what happens when people get hired based on what they look like and not on ability or competence. It’s a systemic problem across Canada. Call any customer service branch in Canada you’d be lucky if they sounded knowledgeable and not as if it’s their first day on the job.

All I have to say is if you are in rush don't go in this branch.the line up will be always long and only couple people to help in the branch, no matter what you say anything will chance all they have to say is: there is nothing we can do. Thanks for the ZERO custumer consideration.

I'm just so grateful that I've met Ted Zhu when we opened our account at CIBC last year. He was still in Victoria/Sheppard branch previously and now, in this branch. Ted has always been helpful not only to us but also to our friends who are newcomers in Canada. We have the best Financial Advisor in him. Wherever branch he may go, for sure we will follow him. Thank you for all that you do, Ted.

Manager at that location Melissa Fazari was very unprofessional, she has no clue on how to resolve client’s issue and manage line up in a peak hours. Make employees serve the line.

I came to change my credit card pin. It waited in the line for 30 minutes. I saw other workers walking idly by. The person sitting at the front desk wasn’t helpful either.

The teller are terrible, they just sit there, do nothing, but just let the clients wait. I can hear they are busying talking about some cute pictures instead let the long waiting line move

Saturday afternoon, many customers waiting! Not a problem. BUT! There are 5 staff at the counter and only one was serving customers. That IS a problem! Why are they just standing there and watching one doing her job? Such a bad experience in this CIBC.

I have been with CIBC for more than 10 years and experienced banking in different branches; but this one is piece of S.
My new experience was a wire transfer and referred to the bank several times and after almost two weeks, nobody is telling me where is my money and what is the status of my wire.very disappointing.

Very disappointed with service this past Saturday. Just to pay a car loan had to wait from 10am to 1pm.because of the poor knowledge of the teller and manger on duty I lost $17 which i spent on certified cheques. After 3 hours of waiting they were able to figure out how to collect the car loan payment.lost my entire Saturday at this branch and didn't even get the money I lost because of their mistake with total amount.

Very long lines frequently and only 1 - 2 tellers staffed even though plexi is placed bettwn them. Citing "covid" and social distancing as the cause. 45 minute wait in line. No one bussing the lines or checking in. Absurd

My wife and I are account holders in this branch for more than two years. Mana (former financial advisor) had been absolutely helpful for us before she left this branch. HOWEVER, when my wife was about to deposit her pay cheques today and she wanted the fund immediately, they told her that they're gonna hold the cheques for 4 business days before they release the whole amount as available fund. My wife has been receiving the same cheque from the same employer for almost two years and she explained that, and they said the best they could do is to release $100 out of $5,000 which is absolutely ridiculous! We didn't had enough time to get to the another branch where they release the cheque every month right away. Such a shame that our main branch doesn't do that, but another branch does.

This bank is one of the slowest, least efficient branches I've ever been to. The day after a long weekend, only 2 tellers were working (1 of them being new and in training). I waited over 40 minutes in a lineup - unacceptable! Unfortunately, this is not the first time this has happened. Switching home branches.

I had some fraud on my account and several other branches were helpless in recovering my lost money. I came into this branch out of a whim and Behnoush went above and beyond in helping me with everything and addressing all my issues. Come here and she will really take good care of you here. A terrible branch, very very rude staff. I will never ever go to this branch again. I have no problem with CIBC it’s a great bank. But definitely not this branch.

How this branch has improved. I have been going to this branch from time to time over the past 5 years and always found it to be drab and the tellers somewhat neutral in demeanor and service. I never felt like a valued customer. How much effort does it take for someone to smile and take an interest in your banking needs. Perhaps identify some savings opportunity or advise you about a bank promotion. This was never on offer at Bayview village until about October of last year when it appeared there must have been some shake up. The tellers now appear to be on the ball, keen to assist you, take the time to explain things and cheerful. Moreover there are bank staff standing around at busy times expediting the long line and re routing customers to best meet their needs quickly. I was shocked one day that the person helping this process was the bank manager who later helped us renew our mortgage at a time we were thinking of taking our business somewhere else. Not only was he very professional but also very personable which appears to be the new operating model of the staff around him. Well done everyone at the branch!

Had multiple requests from Abi, a new financial service rep who apparently came to this branch the same day I visited. Very patient and knowlegable on all the quations I had. Super helpful.

Garbage service, no one tells you when advisors are free its a free for all. Changing accounts which used to be easy now take forever. Waste of time to come here.

Service is bad, maybe I went by the time they almost close. No smile, I saved money at your bank not I owe you money.
