This is a horrible branch, the customer service is terrible and nobody ever picks up the phone. I have tried to call this branch many times through out the day on multiple occasions and not a single time have they picked up the phone. I went in person tried to call the branch and I seen the employees stand around talking rather than picking up my phone call… after I left a voicemail I never received a call back. Save yourself the stress and headache and use a different branch or bank

Worst experience I’ve ever seen there. Always crowded and they don’t treat people well. Only one employee always available. I will never go to this branch.

April 20 2023 went back to this branch and I had the worst financial advisor on the planet. He could not explain the summary that the bank sent me. How am I supposed to understand the summary if their own advisor couldn't? To make matters worse, he had no customer service skills at all. So today, I decided that I will not do any more business with CIBC and will move all my business to Bank of Nova Scotia.

We went in to open Business account at this branch at April 5th 2023 at 1: 28pm and there wa some lady who assisted us to get an appointment at the teller and she said she doesn’t have a date until 13th of April and we really needed the account faster than that so we asked if it’s possible to make it early and she referred to go check on any other branches and I was curious and asked since I’m in the area should I try other banks near like TD or RBC and she immediately replied “ yes you should try them “

But I did not expect that from a teller from CIBC actually referring me to go to other bank, well I guess that employee doesn’t care about bringing more business to CIBC.

It’s 4: 45 pm Line has 12 people and increasing and only two tellers. I drove to two other branches and they were of no help.

I needed some help applying for the CIBC Aeroplan Visa. A very nice man named Allan came out in a few minutes. He took care of everything, even working right through his lunch to help me. Now that was above and beyond!

12 people in line and only 1 teller, terrible service. No matter what day or time you go to this branch there is 1 maybe 2 tellers and a long wait. They WANT you to use the machines so they don't have to pay tellers. They really need to improve the service here. It's not right that you go to the bank and you come out so angry because you are in line for so long. They even removed the clocks because they don't want people to know how long they are in line for

Worst Cibc branch ever! Just waited in line for Atleast 20 min before walking out as not even the first person since I’d been in line was served yet. They always seem to only have 1 teller working. And another lady (not sure if it’s the manager) came from the back twice and just kept walking by the line. It was laughable! No customer service, no ‘I’m sorry for the wait time everyone but someone will help you shortly’. They just ignore and avoid bc they clearly don’t care. I watched a lot of ppl getting impatient and frustrated in line. Judging by the other reviews, I can see I’m not alone. Won’t be coming to this location again- if Cibc allows this to continue it will bring down their brand/reputation. Poor management and poor service from employees.

I'm reading all of these bad reviews and wondering, are we talking about the same branch? My experience at this branch was nothing but positive. The employees are very kind and helpful. It has been slower than normal for the past two years due to the Covid, not the bank. They needed to follow the rules, and people should be more understanding. I believe, people have just become very spoiled and entitled. We should all be kinder to each other. It's a lie that the branch is dirty. Bank has nothing to do with the outside environment, with a lot of construction going on, but the branch inside is clean.

Worst bank branch ever existed. I’ve been a cibc client for a couple years and this is the most UNPROFESSIONAL and UNEXPERIENCED STUFF IVE EVER SEEN AND EXPERIENCE WITH.

Horrible horrible horrible line took an hour and they send me home telling me to just call them since they were busy.

Don’t come here I don’t usually comment but this place is lower than a star rating.

Rajat Sehajpal was my mortgage agent and he was fantastic. Gave me the best rate on the market and was highly responsive. Was available to answer my questions at any time even weekends. Very smooth experience highly recommend.

The SLOWEST SERVICE EVER. I have waited for 45 minutes. They only have 2 staff all the time and the services that the customers have are so much it takes forever. They dont even do anything to resolve it. What a waste of time.

There were literally 2 customer in line before me and it’s been 46 minutes waiting in the queue, there were 2 CSRs open when entered and later on one more CSR opened but the other CSR from the previous 2 went on break and the other CSR has been serving one customer since almost 30 minutes. Worst customer service, how can 1 CSR serve 6 customers in line. Worst experience ever. There’s still 1 customer before me and he is very frustrated and when he asked that one CSR who is open she replied due to technical issues, computers are out. Like seriously, WHAT a service.

I have always had an excellent experience at this branch. The staff and Managers are extremely courteous and try their best even under trying circumstances. The tellers are efficient and polite and the manager is very helpful with everything.

Terrible customer service. Never enough tellers to support the lineup of clients which often extends out the door. Poor communication skills. If you need to make a deposit with a teller, plan for a minimum of 30 minutes. Lots of advisers sitting hiding in their offices who refuse to help out at the counter.

Yea no I’ve never had to wait over an hour in line at a bank before. There were 5 people waiting to be served when I got in line. Half an hour later, there were 4 of us. This bank needs some serious help.

This branch doesn’t even deserve a 1 star. I just came across from the TD bank across the street, and it was fast - Covid safe services. But I had to come to CIBC as well, and boy was my experience completely the opposite.

First off, there are 13 customers in the branch waiting in line, trying to keep their distance (although there was one guy behind me in the line who took his mask off and no one said anything - I had to fake cough to get the point across). But there is only ONE TELLER servicing us all. I don’t know where the 2nd teller went. I see that there’s still people working in their offices not helping the teller, when they can clearly see all of us waiting in line.

I will be closing my CIBC account for sure after this experience. It’s been more than 30min and I’m still standing in line as I write this review.

It’s a bank and they only hire two tellers to serve all people and let their customers wait in the line outside under the sun forever for their turn, how cheap!

Booked a vacation day off from work to visit the bank because of CIBC’s horrible working hours— 10 am to 4 pm, closed Sat and Sun! Waited 45 minutes outside in line in the blazing sun. When I was finally allowed to step into the building, I shocked to see only TWO tellers working. Two tellers! Two! They were at least 10 people waiting in line outside. Ridiculous. The young girl who they had working as a security guide would randomly let some people in and some people not. I don’t want to be entirely negative so I have to say the tellers were at least nice and polite. But I won’t be coming to this location ever again.

Walked into the CIBC branch with alot of confusion and uncertainty but were fortunate to meet Mr. Asher Gill. Asher explained us the mortgage process and addressed all our questions calmly. We walked out of the branch with new hopes and a certainty of getting our dream home. We would like to thank Asher for his endless support in making our dream turn into reality. Wishing alot of success to Asher and CIBC family.

Long wait time with long que. Bank should consider extending the working time at the evening. Evening people coming after the job and one or two customer service representatives. Took 31 minutes to get the service. HORRIBLE WAITING PERIOD

Worst location I have ever been to. I went to cash a government cheque and they say they have to put it on hold even though at the location in Brampton didn't hold the cheque and allowed me to withdraw the whole amount. On top of that the management there is rude if I could give a negative star I would give it a - 100 star

I went here to close my bank account. The teller took my debit card, cut it in half after I agreed, then told me my bank account has been closed. I asked him again to confirm because he seemed a little confused when he was doing this and he assured me that it has been closed. I asked him for a confirmation receipt and he said there is no such thing. Seeing my online account was still available after few days, I called CIBC and the lady on the phone said my bank account is still active and that I have to go back to the bank to close it. I can be understanding about the slow service, but at least, have people that are actually qualified for the job.

This is the most inefficient and unhelpful branch. People here are RUDE and unapologetic. Worst banking experience ever. They don't even listen to your problem.
