Surprisingly pleasant service. Monique was very attentive, sensitive to my problem, patient and persistent. I was in this bank for the first time, I applied because of the account blocking, she explained everything to me, clearly and simply. After that, I contacted her three times during the week, and she explained everything to me respectfully and patiently every time. I think she's the perfect bank employee. Thank you, Monique!

If I can give Zero, I would. I will never set foot and avoid this branch at all cost now. I was there for a company transaction and this lady employee making the rounds made me feel like I was the cause of the complaints and line-up behind me. We do this transaction once a month and every.single.time, whoever went there, would complain of the line-up and how there's only 1 or 2 tellers to cater to the crowd of people waiting. She said we should not be making this transaction thru the teller as there are other options to do so. Well, why don't you write a letter to my company stating so? I'm writing this a month after and I'm still fuming.

Very bad service especially the mortgagee section, they don't know the work and they have to be punished,
They increased the bi weekly mortgage payment for me with penalty and no notes in the system added for this change.

Came to reactivate my account and had nobody talk to us as we waited 50 minutes in line. Everyone was chatting with everyone else as there was a line of about 12 people. Don’t come here

Came here to unlock my credit card, she looked at my IDs, proceeded to chat with the manager about something and told me to sit down and wait. I was waiting for about over an hour, with zero communication from the staff what so ever. When I went to approach after an hour of waiting, the representative and the manager went to the back and hid. I walked out, and called customer service to see if they could fix my problem (which they did) but i was told she inputted the wrong information to my account after looking at my ID. They had 0 intentions of ever helping me. Just avoid this branch.

I visited the CIBC Latimer branch today (Dec 13) to resolve a credit card issue. I was able to meet the manager, Anne-Maria Vetro and she gave me time even though I did not have a prior appointment.
Anne-Maria got working on my request immediately and left me feeling confident that my issue would be successfully resolved in the next few days.
I would like to say that CIBC has a very committed and dedicated manager in Anne-Maria. She’s the kind of person who would go above and beyond to resolve customer issues.

Came in to help my parents to reactive their account. However, the teller and manager was rude and unhelpful.

The teller and manager wouldn’t accept the passport and dl my parents had provided to verify. Told them to drive all the way back to home branch to reactive.

Community GM Anne-Maria Vetro is very nice to cibc clients. Every client in line she helps. I got help from her. Great person down to earth nature. I left happy every time I interacted with her. Saving time.

I’m not a CIBC customer but be here in this branch today make me realized it was a right decision that i decided to open my account at another bank. I misplaced my Costco master card and they customer service rep arrange to send my replacement to this branch because it’s near my house. I went here and been here for an hour, been to 2 tellers and they haven’t be able to help me find my card. The tellers told me they didn’t received the mail. So I called CIBC customer service and they gave me the Purolator tracking record show that it was delivered a week ago to this branch and it was accepted and signed by a front desk reception. Somehow, they lost the mail, and not only that, the way the tellers talk to you is rude, it seems like they’re not happy that they have to do extra work and look for my card, they also taking their precious time while others is waiting in line. Latoya is one of the teller and she should be retrain on how to deal with customers. She didn’t even let me finish trying to explain to her the situation and let me talk. She’s talking over me and wouldn’t let me talk. She shouldn’t even be in customer service field if she doesn’t want to listen to customers and try to help them solve the problem. I ended up walked out furious and call CIBC to issue me another card send directly to my home so I don’t have to deal with unprofessional employees like that at this branch.

Update: they called me back after I posted this review and told me they found my card, they apologized they misplaced my card. I told them too late, I already call CIBC ask them to cancelled that card and resend me a new one to my address to avoid dealing with this branch anymore.

CIBC heartland and most of the branches near by are the worst teller service ever I experienced in life. It’s soo bad that they are always sort of staff and very slow and there is always a huge line up everyday. They can’t handle the traffic. I strong recommend to change your bank to save your time, time is money.

Terribly understaffed branch. Not to be rude but COVID is no excuse, other banks and branches are also in the same pandemic, but still are efficient and quick. This branch always makes us wait. Doesn't have enough staff Ever seems like. Everyone seems like they are dily dalying at their leisure. Please pay attention to this matter.

With the ridiculous line ups it is always hard to get a good service. But Tanya Friday morning was the kindest to provide great customer service by teaching me how to pay my bills over the ATM.
Avoid this location but there are good people that are willing to help

Really bad service. Tellers do not understand the value of people's time. I had to wait 45 mns when there were only 4 people in front of me. Many similar reviews about this location. It is very unfortunate that the management is not doing anything about this situation. Might as well close this branch before losing more customers.

I use atm machines and they are absolutely filthy. So much dirt on the machines. I don’t think they sanitize or clean the machines.

Hundreds of people use they machines.
I always make sure I carry my own portable hand sanitizer when using there machines.

If I could give a negative star I would.
This CIBC doesn’t care about people’s health nor about covid.
They should clean the machines. Disgusting!

The slowest bank i have ever been to i been here on week day around 3: 00pm and i stood in line for about 20 mins. If you need assissistant from teller i would highly recommend going to a different branch. Five people working and still moving very slow i would never again

Recently went there to open a new account. The staff was friendly. They explained the account details in a easy manner. The service was satisfactory.

The branch has a long line up, almost all the time and the wait time to transact with the teller is 25-30 minutes.
And the staff are unhelpful and impolite - that is my experience. It is my view that they are poorly trained - they seem to be unable to answer even basic questions. For all practical purposes, they are no different from ATM. The staff including the customer service representatives (the ones in the cabin) won't lift a finger to understand and address the customer requests.

I have been banking with CIBC for over 37 years and I have dealt with a lot of bank employees since then. My home branch is actually in Rexdale but I haven’t done any banking there for many years once I started using the branch in Heartland. I have always received excellent service from the staff there and I must give them high commendations. I especially want to extend my sincere gratitude to a number of the employees starting with Virginia (manager), Rayana, Mirette, Kiana, Roni and Sandra. Keep up the excellent work folks, you are doing a fantastic job despite the current situation.

I have never been to this branch and found more than one teller working, the waiting line is the longest and the rest of the employees (including the manager) are chatting and laughing in their offices instead of helping the overworked poor only teller!

Worse Service I ever saw in my whole like, we are three partner and we opened company account in 2018 at that time they setup three signatory for our account but because of our day to day need we wanted to authorize one person to deal all banking transection.when we try to contact in Heartland Brand one lady give us appointment and she told us that you can use your online banking but after that we saw that still we can not use our online banking we contact again this time they told us to make a resolution and sign all partner we did the same and fax to bank but from last two weeks not body contact with us then last Saturday one our collogue went to bank and submit copy of resolution to authorize to deal with bank.but still we did not hear from anyone everyday we are calling bank but no body answering the call and we hear only recording.

On everyday basis we are suffering and no body is helping us This is worse banking I saw in my whole life we are disappointed.

Came to meet a financial adviser. Came 15 min early.told front desk why I came and was told to sit and wait. Waited 20 min passed my appointment time. When adviser invited me in I noticed no one left her office. When I asked her why the wait she told me she was working on something. Not even a sorry.
I cut my visit short - I don't need financial advice from someone who can't manage her time properly.

Possibly the worst CIBC branch in the GTA, dont waste your time. They have 2 tellers working so you're waiting in line for 15mins minimum and when its your turn they cant even help you without getting managers involved or giving you the run around. Its ridiculous. Stay away from here.

The front end of this location has been renovated in early 2019. It has the new CIBC layout and look. The atm machines are envelope free. This isn't a large location so you'll have to be patient with the service. I've walked in and was able to get what I need with a bit of time. If you do need a service you can schedule an appointment in advance and they will allocate the staff.

Horrible. The tellers are purposely very slow and don't seem to have any consideration for the lineup. Why is CIBC allowing this to happen? 4 tellers and I still waited exactly 53 minutes from the minute I walked in with only 6 people ahead! I'm done with you CIBC! This place deserves 0 stars. UNREAL!

The Branch Manager at this branch insulted my husband today by mocking him and questioning his intelligence. She was extremely rude and arrogant.
This was a simple matter which was subsequently resolved in 5 mins by the call centre completely negating the branch manager's stance. She just wanted to prove that just because she could, she would. She even said, "I know how you would like me to do that, but I won't" in an absolutely condescending way. At one point she even asked why did you come to this branch when you could have gone to other branches who know him. It's pathetic to see that a branch manager would act this way. CIBC should look into their training and hiring the right talent. We have taken this up the chain and complained. No one should be treated this way. We will never be visiting this branch again.

Couple of weeks ago i had a very bad experience with a teller called VEENA. VEENA VEENA VEENAshe is dark ugly looking may be indian or srilankan.very rude.yelling at people in the line.she should be fired.
