Great service at this location, especially with Goldie, the Mortgage Advisor, and Umar, the Financial Sales Representative. They communicated effectively and were very responsive in regards to emails/phone calls. I am very satisfied with how they treated my case.

Worst branch ever. Poor internal system. Took the agent half an hour to just entering my profile information. Also failed to activate my credit card. They made me to come to the branch again on a snowy day to just get my credit card activated? Excuse me? Are we still in the 90s?

Worst branch I have ever been. I went to close my account which I always have been keeping over $6000 so monthly maintenance fee is waived. I told the teller that I have to close this account, please transfer all balance out. She did it and closed everything then I found $23 for service charge. I questioned it the teller said she closed already cannot check the transactions anymore and have to order the transaction by mail. A wk later, I got bank transactions which showing I kept the balance over 6k all the time and went to the branch again. The teller still saying it is correct I got charged for $23 service fee because I transferred out my money on the last day before I closed this account. COME ON, I still supposed to keep my money even I was telling her that I was closing this account? Eventually I have to ask the manager to fix this problem. I am so disappointed with service of this branch.

If I am banking for my mom and yes, it's ONLY a withdrawal, WHY does the teller have to mention that a withdrawal can be done at the ATM? 2 times in fact. Why not just, greet me, complete the transaction efficiently, and perhaps a "good evening". WHY the callous comments? Extremely unprofessional and poor customer service. None if her business WHY I choose to go to the teller. Too inconvenient to do do her job today?

The worst CIBC branch ever, they treat me like trash. Front desks and offices are not willing to help me, they just write me a number and tell me to call someone else. Not recommend this place, find somewhere else.

Let’s just began by saying that if I could give negative 10 star to this bank I would. I’ve been a customer of Cibc for 20 years now. And I went to this branch yesterday to do a wire transfer from my chequing account to my business account held at TD for 83500$and I was denied by the branch manager Susan Decca because she claims she couldn’t verify my signature and instead of her trying to use others methods to verify my identity she just said you have to go to your home branch in Etobicoke and see if someone will recognize you there and maybe they can help you there. She asked for my phone number and I provided it to her as per the one she had on file, she also asked for the other credit card she had on file wich I provided to her, it’s a Visa I have with RBC. All of this was not enough so she asked me to rewrite my signature but according to her it still didn’t Mach the one she had on file in the computer so she showed it to me but it clearly matched in my eyes. She kept looking at the picture of my driver license but she said in the picture I look to young even though the licence has just been renewed 5 months ago. So instead of arguing with her I politely left and went to my home branch at 1500 Royal York road in Etobicoke to do my wire transfer there. The bank teller that helped me there was just wonderful. She didn’t know who I was so she verified my signature and everything was great no problem and I used the same signature that I used with Susan 1 hour earlier. The transfer was executed no problem. This morning I returned to this branch to ask Susan for an explanation about what had happened yesterday and how I felt offended and treated like a scam artist after 20 years of honest and loyal banking. She proceeded to barely apologize and she went on to Say that every branch is different, for her the signature didn’t match even tough it was the same signature used at my home branch were it was accepted. She went on to say because it was a large amount the bank wants to make sure that the customer is 100 % protected from fraud, because we held customers satisfaction very high, so when I told her that I felt offended and that I wanted to be reimbursed my gas because she sent me to my home branch to do the transfer half hour away she refused categorically. Horrible customer service, something that she claims they held very high at this branch. Obviously they don’t because she couldn’t even give me the 20$ In gas I had to spend to go to my home branch and do the transfer there. Shameful. Do yourself a favour. Stay away from this branch because here they don’t care about you whatsoever and they embarrass you freely with the excuse of protecting your money.

Be aware of substandard service, practice and policy here and try avoid this bank.
This bank has very unprofessional and unqualified personnel: rude, aggressive, arbitrarily denying service and just simply condescending to their customers.
Communication skills do not exist here and nobody wants to listen to the customer; customers are treated with arrogance, disrespect, aggressively and rudely. Their manager handed my case to a teller and took it upon herself to take over and continue to make me out to be a liar when it never should have escalated to that. This bank does not hesitate to lie and to falsify. People involved: their pathetic excuse of a manager, Susan Tecca
