South Asian staff seemed very slow and very unprofessional. Took about 3 times as much time compared to a different branch to complete a similar wire transfer. After waiting for a while in line, forced me to get out of the queue to write down beneficiary details despite having them on my phone ready to show them and then wait again in line. They already had my bank card and driver’s license and wanted another piece of ID. Did not accept my Cdn passport as a form of ID and proceeded to take my SIN info while NOT returning my passport. Avoid if possible.

Its surprising that after 10 years of this being my home branch that the staff treat me with the most disrepect ever.

Fast and reliable service.

Opened an account here which was done in a swift. Super easy and friendly.
When i left the country i cancelled the account and even after that Michael (who i opened the account with) was available via email and helpful.

They book me a meeting with a person that is out of office. Waste my time. Together with my experience with other branches of CIBC, I have had enough. Will be switching bank after pandemic.

I have been banking with CIBC from last 10 years today very Worst experience.
Front desk.have no proper knowledge.wrong guidance.strong recommendation not to choose this Branch. Ever.
I am going to cancel all my 7 accounts with this bank.

One of the worst experiences at a bank that my parents have been going to since I was a child. It took them 20 minutes past opening to simply deposit cash. I walked up the desk politely and was told rudely to get in line. While in line I was told by the teller “do you have business or what” before approaching the desk.

3 months prior I wanted to close my safety deposit box and was told that I needed my father in because he was the one paying for the account. After waiting another 30 mins past opening for the SINGLE safety deposit box ‘certified’ employee. We were told that any one of us could come in and close it by ourselves. NOT information that was told to us earlier.

Overall I would highly recommend anyone steer clear from this branch. Bloor Yonge is much more helpful.

Ryann was very kind and helpful to me.
I didn’t know how to deposit my check and she showed me every step to do it via app!
