ATMs are locked off from the main areas of the bank after hours, but it doesn't even matter because the doors to the ATMs are locked so you can't access them.

The worst! I tried to do a wire transfer internationally not only they don’t know what are they doing at first, next thing I know the money didn’t go through after 4 weeks. I called the office they said they are going to let me know about my wire status (few days before it was bounce back) and call me back on the same day but of course they never called me back. Then I came to the bank in person to follow up, they said if I want to know my wire transfer’s status, it’s going to cost me another 40 dollar. WHAT A JOKE. When I called before they never mentioned any of this. Then I realized the money came back 75 dollar short because they said due to the exchange rate. This is after I paid 80 dollars for wire transfer! 150 dollar lost, the only I got is headache, poor customer service, my mom not getting the money she needed. Then I asked them, so what’s the reason it bounce back, guess what they said? It could be a lot of reasons if I’m losing 150 dollar at least you can let me know what’s the investigation result after 2 months. One thing I learn, I will never do wire transfer here. Plus I’m going to close all my accounts. Oh also, don’t deposit your money in their machine, it ate my 40 dollar because it’s jammed.what a joke

Decent service, and four ATMs to get you in and out very quickly. The place is pretty clean as well, which is a plus. Parking lot is a good size, but be careful if you're trying to exit onto Bayfield Street, as you might be a while.

The parking lot is horrible and the long wait times are ridiculous every single time I come in. The doors also close around 11pm at night and you can’t even access the ATM because there’s no drive thru.

Worst Business Bank ever!
I have 3 businesses, of which one account is with RBC which I get great treatment with. When I started the other two businesses 7 or 8 years ago, I had a partner at the time who dealt with CIBC so I thought maybe I would give them a try. I have to say, there is ZERO customer service and the business processes are not ideal. Suffice to say, my two business accounts they have will be moving to RBC soon. I doubt anyone will read this at the branch and care enough to reach out.

Poor, unwelcoming customer service. Would never recommend any one. Went to open an account waited for 20 mins and was sent to teller saying maybe they can help.

Easy to get to, good parking now since not a lot of people are out but if it gets full it looks like it would be tight. No drive-thru. When I went in everyone was friendly and helpful

My partner and I saw Philip Steel the Senior Financial service rep, and he was fantastic. He got to know our financial situation and moved things around to make our lives easier and better off in the future. Matthew at the branch was super helpful. Not only did he answer the phone (tough these days it seems during covid) but he came up with a solution and completed my transaction quickly and smoothly!

Philip Steel an amazing employee, I was dealing with Philip since he was in Mapleview location as I live in South end, came to know Philip moved up to Bayfield location, called the location left voice mail, he recognized my voice called me back, I visited him today even though he booked for all day he got few minutes for me and as usual provided his best customer service. Way to go Philip 200/100

Been with the bank for over 15 years moved to this location a few years ago. Love visiting Patricia and their newer teller tatyana. They really move those long lines

Really like the staff here, friendly and smart. The managers Kelly and Sherri have always been really helpful when I had an issue with my mom's account. Best bank in Barrie I think.

This location is close to my home so I come here a lot to do my business deposits, never experienced such unprofessional experience from a bank and management.i pity tellers at this branch and at this bank in general because there is always only 2 of them on at once and half of them don’t know what they’re doing.i run into tellers who don’t know they’re doing at almost every branch I go to! Cibc what is going on? Must be due to lack of training and guidance from management.you can feel that this is the type of company who just care about sales and not staff. Get it together! The first time I came in this month I witnessed a blonde manager yelling at her one of her staff just before 5pm while there was a line up, this woman I believe her name is kelly has Disgusting behaviour from a leader. I will be closing my business account and going to a more professional bank.absolutely disgusting.

Had a awful Experience. Was shorted by a teller when I called there was a dispute and then she realized she shorted me. Unfortunately apologizing doesn’t make up for the Lack of training and poor management. Will not be coming back. Rather go back to my home location at yonge and big bay. I believe the new teller was named asia. Not her fault very poor management.

Took 1 hour to do a wired transaction to scotia bank and got service charged $50 terrible service.
