Probably the worst CIBC branch! I have been trying to open an account with them for 2 months, and finally had to approach another branch to get it done. The Service Associates are nonchalant and are always on "vacation". Sorry state of affairs!

Just tried to deposit cash and a cheque into the ATM but it couldn't recognize any of it and spit it all back out. Useful.

Zero duty of care here. Trying to close an account for months as they channel through employees who through up random hurdles. A Bermuda Triangle when a loved one passes away.

If you're looking for a branch that takes 2 weeks to return your calls, this one is for you! If you're looking for a branch that cannot add a family member to your chequing account because they are going to close in 2 hours, this one is for you! If you're looking for a branch where the ATM is more useful than the tellers, this one is for you!
In all fairness, some of the tellers are doing the best that they can. However management is either rarely around or non-existent. What this branch 'could not do without booking an appointment in one week', Gerrard Square CIBC did in 10 minutes on the same day. Other than the ATM this branch is a repetitive inconvenience/disappointment.
Did I have a bad experience? Why yes, multiple bad experiences over the course of many years. Would I recommend this CIBC branch to anyone? Absolutely not.

Great team with a warm community feel - always welcomed and addressed with urgency. Would highly recommend this branch

Joshua was a great help to me 10 min in and out i was able to fix some things in my account and book an appointment.

Since COVID at least, this location is now a CIBC + Homeless shelter. I've tried many times to use the machine inside - in the middle of the day on the weekend, or early in the evening on a week night - and no matter the time, there is always a man living in there, and the one time I stayed to actually use the machine he asked me for money then cursed at me under his breath.
Why doesn't anyone at the branch take responsibility and do something about this?

Worst customer service ever. The new manager Bobby doesn’t care about clients especially when their frustrated. They never answer the phone nor do they return voicemails. You have to keep sending them emails just to get a response and then they give you the run around. It was much better when Aakash was the branch manager.
