This I'd a larger financial services branch with multiple banking services and staff. There is an area for a few tellers, but my experience would suggest that the teller service is always slow and be prepared for a wait. I will use the ATM only and go elsewhere if I need any teller interaction!

Terrible experience with this branch. Issued a bank draft with them, and the other bank needs to verify it, but the manager just said no seriously, couldn’t give any solutions. It’s just a business, why do you treat your customers like this callous attitude? I think maybe you don’t need any customers.

My experience with Sohail Alvi at CIBC Hays Blvd Oakville, surpassed my expectations of prompt service and exceptional customer service!
I am so glad to now be a customer at this branch and with CIBC!

This branch gets worse and worse and worse.
Horrible management

Every trip here takes 45mins to and hour
The employees are disorganized and poorly trained,

It just goes to show how little the banks think of us.

I walked in at 930 as they opened, two people in front of me. One teller and three empty teller booths. After waiting in line for 30 min, the teller notifies me that the vault won't open up until an hour later. Is this not something you should mention as I get in line? I despise going into that branch. Poorly managed.

I'm just trying to book an appointment but they won't answer their phone. I've called ten times and at different times of the day. 0/10 pick ups. On the other hand the CIBC downtown I can get a responce from first call. I guess I have to go to a bank out of my way. How inconvenient.

I had appointment for corporation account with Sohail Alvi. He was suggesting me to go to another bank.and then he said i m not able to print some documents and again told me that go to another location.i hardly got appointment from my hectic schedule he wasted my day off.will not suggest anyone.worst experience

It was a bad experience as the line up is too much and only two tellers were and the managers are roaming around rather than helping.

This is honestly the worst CIBC branch ever! Your expected wait time is 30mins depending on how many CSR they have at the time. Could be more! The employee have zero sense of time for customers!
Don't ever come here if you have important places to be.
The client engagement representative Jasper is very good. He literally is the only reason I still come here

The only bank I'll ever go to. Including the location. The tellers are fantastic as well as the service

Let me start with the good. So far Pierce has been fantastic. Absolutely the best person to talk to at this branch!

So far the rest of the branch is lacking. As a new customer, informing me that my card is ready for pickup but locking the door in my face 2 minutes after the branch closes while there is still a line of customers is not a great welcome. On top of that, don't laugh while you say that the branch is closed.

Calls tend to not be answered by anyone, so I wouldn't bother calling.

2 stars comes from Pierce being fantastic and the branch having lots of tellers. Knocking off 3 starts because of the behavior of the teller locking the door and laughing as he says the branch is closed, as well as the phones not being answered.

Horrible service from teller May's who attended me wanted me to open an account to pay my credit card that is ridiculous. I don't have that problem at TD or RBC. They processed it to hold for 3 days.

I booked an appointment online prior, showed up early and Sohail was waiting for me. He answered all my questions and helped me with getting a new Visa with better benefits that suit me.

Only suggestion - to have someone working the front desk.
Not sure if this was a weekend only occurrence but I had to wait in line to tell a Teller I was here for my appointment.

Thanks for working weekends and having way more available appointments then the Mississauga branch!

I am Korean and I am not good at English, so I went to make a debit card with worries. But the ‘Tabarek Al-Jibawi’ staff who was consulting was very very kind and l was so touched. She was very considerate of me. I'm planning to continue going to this branch! Thank you

I’ve been with CIBC since I started working in the early 80s.
They’ve always been attentive, loyal, and helpful.
I am very loyal, and I value that in every institution I deal with… but I had a absolutely nasty experience today where all of my banking cards were inadvertently cancelled because of one very inattentive rep.
I won’t tar the entire organization with the same brush, but it cost me hours on the phone trying to clean up and a lot of frustration for something that never should’ve happened in the first place.
In the end, I was able to get help on the phone lines with some excellent reps, but the whole ordeal was very stressful.
Overall thumbs up.

This branch and the branch at Heartland town centre Mississauga are criminals, it's criminal what they did to me, I will write what they did soon, don't have time to write everything now but wanted to get this up here ASAP in the meantime.

AVOID CIBC, especially this branch!

Booked an appointment days ago for FA Sohail Alvi.

Today arrived on time, standing there in lobby for 15 mins, no advisor available.

Very poorly managed.

MUST AVOID TO SAVE YOUR TIME!

The Branch Manager, J. Diaz, doesn't return calls so don't bother leaving a message. The person helping me with an Estate account couldn't answer my questions and I have been trying to get some answers for over 2 weeks now. The gentleman helping me is away and no one is handling his accounts. My parents both passed away this year and I certainly don't need this added stress

Extremely bad service. Staff are always on "vacation". Do not respond to emails or voicemails. Requested a Line of Credit against my property. They asked me numerous times why I wasn't asking for more money. After numerous months, they declined my request without explanation. AND I've been a CIBC customer for over 30 years. Closed accounts and opened a Scotiabank account instead.
