CIBC Branch with ATM

Every single time I go to any CIBC branch there are only 2 tellers, and always one teller with a customer that has been there for longer than the 20 minutes I had waited in line. Both Yonge St.and Mapleview Dr.are the same. I just gave up and left, there were 2 people ahead of my, and now there were 6 behind me.

BEWARE of NEW HIDDEN CHARGES

This review is not for this location as I avoid going into branches but I just wanted to make people away that cibc has changed their terms and conditions without notifying people to make extra money form clients.

If you purchase a gift card via an app or iTunes they charge a 5 dollar cash advance/bt/chequ cashing fee.

When I called to inquire after I saw the charge this has only came in affect in the last week or two as I usually purchase these on the regular for my friends/family/clients.

With this new stealthy added fee I will be paying off the remaining balance and closing this card account at the end of the year and won’t be purchasing anything else with this card to prove a point.

Financial institutions need to be held accountable for stealing money from clients especially with no email/mail notice or acceptance of terms when I explained this on the phone and asked For a copy of the terms to be forwarded to me the representative read off a long online link to me and told Me to go look.

The only thing I’ll be looking for is a new financial institution.

Just a heads up to anyone using this service or may purchase things such as gift cards to look out for, I’ll go to the store and purchase them in person before I purchase one with my cibc credit card or anything for that matter

I had two problems, neither helped me. They asked me to call the hotline, hahaha you came to the bank branch to get the hotline number.mediocre

I needed to get a new card because CIBC keeps canceling them.i went in at 11: 50-11: 55 and i was in the line of 2-3 for almost 20 minutes when i decided to leave as the line hadn’t even moved; there was only one teller but a lot of other staff that could’ve helped.there was a person ahead of me and i’m pretty sure they were waiting more than 25 minutes to be seen which is ridiculous.
