CIBC Branch with ATM

I read the reviews prior to visiting this location and wanted to believe that maybe it's not as bad as what others were suggesting. Only came here to pick up a credit card that was sent to that branch. Arrived early afternoon and I was second in line. There are 3 tellers and I was in line for 30 minutes! The branch manager sits in the back right corner with a smirk on her face. She doesn't do anything unless the teller asks her for assistance.

After a while, there's about 12 people in line. The branch manager doesn't care whatsoever and stayed in her back corner avoiding all customers. Absolutely disgusting behaviour and not supportive of staff. Customers in line were getting upset.

Another thing to note is the hours at this location are a joke. They are closed at 5pm everyday except for Saturday, where they close at 4 pm. They are not open on Sundays. Let's see here, for those who have a 9-5 job, you won't be able to bank here. If you are lucky and make it to the branch before they close, expect to be stuck in line for a VERY long time. I highly do not recommend this branch.

I can believed I got a bank draft to be deposit TODAY in my chequing account and they want to hold it for 5 business days that is a BANK DRAFT or CERTIFIED CHEQUE what is the point of this instrument then may as well deposit a regular cheque then or the BANK MANAGER OR BANK POLICY are trying to work with my money for 7 days
