I came here two times so far once to open my bank account and once to make a draft.
I entered the bank and it was 17: 58 only two minutes for the bank to close and Kelly she entertained me and accepted to make a draft for me. When I left it was 18: 07 this is going out of the way to help the customers. Both time it was very good experience. I am very thankful to Kelly (it happened in September 2022)

I recently had to withdraw money from an ATM machine at CIBC. Upon doing so the money hatch refused to open. The machine froze and essentially became a paper weight as it would not leave the withdrawal screen.

I checked my account and noticed that the amount I tried to withdrawal had been debited from my account. So, I called their support where I was told to wait 15 days or more and was given no guarantee of receiving my withdrawn money.

Better yet, I also visited the CIBC first thing in the morning and was told to wait on the online ticket previously created.

Basically, if you are wanting a dependable bank that puts you first, please don't pick CIBC. They have awful customer service, and poor policies. I've had too many altercations to ever recommend them as a banking institution. I am a student who does not have a lot of money, and CIBC has tried to rip me off every turn of the corner.

Cost me and my buisness time and money every time I go there. 20 minutes to certify at other bank. 30 to 45 minutes in line at cibc. Another 30 to 45 minutes to deposit a certified cheque after 2 years of depositing and never had anything bounce. Same teller, same me depositing same wasted time and money. For the amount of pain and time and money it costs me everytime i go to my home branch, I wish I was rich to buy that building and tear it down. Closing my account as soon as this season is done and thank you for all my wasted time

DO NOT SET UP AN ACCOUNT WITH CIBC! Worst bank ive ever been to; CIBC sucks in general; but they HAVE NO ATMS WITHIN 25 MILES OF MY APARTMENT & This branches ATM room is locked when they close; basically they have no ATMs and dont care, as long as they dont have to pay for a security guard for there ATM room.im switching banks and closing my CIBC account.

Horrible services. There definitely not there to help anyone but to show up clock hours and get paid. I dont recommend this branch to anyone.

Ridiculous wait times at all times of the day. The staff is friendly enough, but seriously, you need to hire more of them. My company banks at this location, so I'm here pretty much every day of the week and it always takes at least half an hour just to do a deposit.

I came on Friday in this bank. I wanted to open an account in this bank, and I had an amount of approximately 50,000 dollars, and I needed to open the account in this bank or another bank. A week to open the account, so I told him that you are an employee, and you cannot bypass the laws that are not allowed, so I ask you to call me the manager of this branch, and he replied saying that my manager is very busy. I deposited my money, he gets annoyed with me and he told me very rudely this card, you have to contact my branch manager and he also told me you have to open an account on the bank website and I came back and said over and over again I told him I really need to open an account now, but unfortunately he did not respond to my request, I was annoyed by the way he dealt with me and his bad behavior I also asked again the manager, but he did not respond to me, as if I was talking to a wall and not with respectable bank employees, and at the same time I went to another bank called Scotiabank, and their reception for me was very wonderful. I entered They were angry, but they made me smile and happy, and he apologized to me on behalf of this bank and the employee’s actions. They told me: “Don’t worry, we are here to serve you and every Canadian citizen here. ”

Worst bank ever. Lost my $7000 through CIBC mobile banking and bank couldn't do ANYTHING on that. I kept money on CIBC bank for safety. If CIBC bank cannot hold our trust, why we use that bank? I could protect my $7000 better than CIBC, if it was with me

God forbid you've waited in line 30 minutes and a senior walks up. I'm 61 yrs old and seriously if my company didn't have a account here. I'd bank a different bank. Always wait 30 minutes to 1 hour

Super dissatisfied with my business advisor Claudine Gravel. She has literally wasted months of my time on loan applications that apparently we were never even eligible for, only telling me this after I spent $1000+ with my accountant getting the financials she wanted ready. She does not seem interested at all in actually doing her job, and it takes weeks and months to get back anything from her. I have been telling her for months to get us an operating LOC, and its as if we didn't discuss it over a dozen times. She just pretends like nothing was discussed and nothing was requested and just goes about her day.

I will be cancelling all my business accounts and moving all our money to a different bank.

The branch always has a huge line up at the teller the tellers are always busy out if the 6-7 wickets that they have they only have two tellers at any given time. Had opened a savings account and a small business account had to close them after a month due to their service level.

Friendliness only goes so far. I need to feel safe going into a branch when there is covid.today was a let down. The teller is at her booth eating chips and then the sanitizer bottle was empty. Just didn't look clean or safe to me. Usually this branch is great

After going to this bank, I updated my personal information, including my mobile phone number. It didn’t take long for me to start receiving scam calls and scam text messages. Good Job!

Have been trying to reach someone, anyone in this branch, no response. All my emails and voicemails are unanswered. Is returning phone calls a think of the past? Not impressed to be honest!

Went in to deposit a Bank Draft (Certified Check) From the RBC accross the street. Becuase of COVID-19 a bank assistant greeted me in - line. She said that RBC no longer certifies there checks and they would not be able to take it. I walked over to the RBC and spoke to the Manager. She indicated that this was false information and that i go back and try again. I went back to CIBC and Waitined in-line again (During COVID, waited another 20Min) i told her she gave me false information. I went to the teller, were they were having difficulties processing a simple certified check. I had them call the bank manager from RBC across the street. They finally did there job and deposited the money. Not a good ordeal for a simple deposit. Never have i had any issued with any other bank. Un-qualified staff that day. Will never join a CIBC branch.

They have a “nighttime” deposit box that is opened from 7 to 7 since they could not keep homeless people from sleeping in the branch. But you show up at 7: 00 am to use the deposit box and you are sitting in the parking lot until 7: 30 if you are lucky. Please fix this!

It seems that all the good people at this branch are gone. Sunday service is really akward, as teller don't seems to help any customer they are loud, clsy, and impolite, they are on break and another break despite the long line up. I wish to have previous staff back as opening and moving a back acount is really a frustrated excersise.

Terrible service. Extremely short staffed, especially on Sundays. About 25 people in line and only 2 bank tells. Service is extremely slow, and each client seems to take around 15 or 20 minutes, making most people frustrated in line. I’ve been banking with CIBC for 22 years and this by far the worst location in Canada that I’ve ever been to.

Tingfang help me today. She was very helpful. Spoke with me about some options I wasnt aware of. Went out of her way to help me with another issue.

I brought my disabled brother in to do some banking. Turns out we ran into a few problems but Bassem, who works there, helped us out. He was very friendly and took the time to talk to my brother and helped him understand what we were doing. Unfortunately, that is not always the case when people are dealing with folks who have disabilities. I was more than impressed with the service we received at this CIBC branch.

Mediocre branch. Definitely better than some but not as good as others. I once spoke to an advisor here and he seemed either new or not very knowledgable. The positives are the usually have enough staff to service people when it gets busy and its a clean location. They definitely should talk to the property managers regarding the amount of potholes entering their branch from the traffic light though as it makes you almost want to turn around and not risk destroying your suspensions.

Horrible services. The teller that was Indian was rude right off the bat as I waited to see someone. Could've just used an ATM. The atm provided better service than the young lady. Just Pathetic. Will not be going back.

Yeah pretty epic bank if I say so myself. I really only use the machines but honestly what else do you need a bank for? There's two machines, wifi, and some very tasteful decor. Also there's actual people but I've never spoken to one so I can't vouch for those
