I am writing to address a distressing incident that occurred at your CIBC branch, identified by branch number 08732. The crux of my complaint pertains to an interaction with one of your tellers, Jeffin, who exhibited unprofessional behaviour and employed offensive language during our conversation. I want to emphasize that throughout our exchange, I maintained a composed demeanour without resorting to swearing or raising my voice. I conveyed my concerns firmly, as any customer has the right to do so.

During our initial conversation, I made it explicitly clear that the account phone number we discussed did not pertain to me. Despite this clarification, Jeffin persisted in his attempt to retrieve information tied to that particular number. When his efforts yielded no results, he proceeded to use inappropriate language, asserting that he would not tolerate my "expletive. " It is noteworthy that this incident transpired in the presence of an apparent manager who, regrettably, failed to address or mitigate the situation.

As a dedicated patron of CIBC for over five years, I have come to expect professionalism, respect, and courtesy in my interactions with your staff. The behaviour I encountered during this incident was deeply disheartening and fell far short of the standards I have grown accustomed to.

Given the nature of this incident, I am compelled to seriously consider closing my account. It is unfortunate that a longstanding relationship with your bank is at risk due to such an incident. Additionally, I am inclined to share my experience through a review on the Better Business Bureau (BBB) website to provide an honest account of this unprofessional interaction.

I trust that this formal complaint will reach the appropriate channels within your organization. It is my hope that CIBC takes this matter seriously and conducts a thorough investigation to address the issue appropriately. Customers should NEVER be subjected to such treatment.

During my recent visit to the CIBC branch for my GIC, I had the pleasure of being assisted by Jeenal Jain. From the moment we arrived, Jeenal greeted us with a warm and friendly welcome that made us feel valued and appreciated. Throughout the meeting, she took the time to ensure that we understood all the financial terms and services she explained to us.

As someone who has lived in Canada for five years and has accounts with two of the most popular banks, I must say that Jeenal's level of customer service was exceptional. She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and answered all of our questions with patience and expertise.

In my opinion, Jeenal is the most valuable asset to the company, and her dedication to her work is truly commendable. If she continues to provide the same level of service to other customers, I have no doubt that she will make CIBC proud. Thank you, Jeenal, for making our banking experience a pleasant one!

Went yesterday the tellers actually think they are financiers and are extremely prejudiced against black customers. They leave notes on their customers account to discriminate and marginalize others. After all they make minimum wage? Abuse of power? Mos def-don’t open accounts at cibc the institutional racism smells horribly at that branch.

Service is really slow they have big sign saying business account which is not active and they still make you wait in regular line and only 2 tailor which one is business and one is regular.

A Chinese financial advisor Hu Yunxi called us to do a financial review with him in this branch.
I felt welcomed when we entered into the branch and he was just standing at the receptionist waiting for us. Very smooth process and professional advice and he is standing on our side to make a future plan.
We are very happy that this branch has a financial advisor who speaks mandarin and will visit this branch again.

Where to even begin here. Oh, worst customer service ever is a good one.

I went in looking for get help with 3 things wich should be common sense for a CIBC employee. First I said good morning and asked how she was wich was met by silence and a face that even a rock would have more expression, then I carried on and asked for her to please help me with registering my card in an account for access through their site. That was met with a simple I can't help you, you need to call customer service. Like, what!?

Second I asked if she could tell me what the two values in my credit card meant and she again answered with a simple, I can't help you, you need to call Visa banking.

So I asked for a very simple thing: can you please give me my debit card deposit account for my job and future business. Guess what, she said she was not allowed to do that since she couldn't use the printer for some reason so I asked for her to check it online so I could write it down. She simply said she couldn't.

What is she even there for? A sign is more helpful than her.

Not all CIBC branches are like this, don't get the wrong message but this one is for sure, if not the worst, one of them. Lazy all the way through and rude.

Visited this branch today and even though it took some time, i was happy with the service. I am a very patient guy to everyone who works for a living. To Everyone else who gave a bad review because of rudeness and etc.you think you are privileged? A queen? Or even a king? Did they hurt your adult feelings? Work with me for a day and you will see what rude is.

Anyway, Mathis Hu did his best to fill the paperwork that i needed. Great job.

Manager Pam MacNeil and co-workers provided above and beyond service today, all with a friendly face and positive attitude. I will be returning to this branch solely because of their exceptional service.

Honestly the worst branch you could possibly go to. Save yourself the headache. All the employees and the management have no sense of knowledge. I don't know how this is even a bank.

I went today to deposit some money into my account only to find it's unacesaple for people with mobility issues, the ramp is covered in ice, the stairs have no handrail. Won't be back!

This CIBC Branch is very very bad. The Branch Manager Pam MacNeil is the worst rude person I have ever met. She is rude to client and said very offensive things to me and no regard for my reaction. Their teller also have a bad attitude to client. I won't go to this branch anymore and I will definitely cancel my CIBC account. This branch doesn't even worth one star.

Branch Manager Arup Banerji is a worst rude person. He got this Job without any merits. He always gives hard time to customers should they seek his assistance or help. I am very surpirsed how CIBC appointed Arup Banerji this job as he is absolutely not fit for this Job. Arup Banerji must be kicked out of this Job if CIBC to improve service and increase the clientele.
