I’m shocked at how terrible this location is. The manager is so wildly incompetent and I think this creates the work culture of their organization as a whole. AVOID THIS BRANCH. Take your business elsewhere if you don’t want to spend an hour in line and then leave without what you came for.

Worst service ever. Five employees were just chatting and they are seeing that there are seven people in line, but still nobody cared to help.

I have never been so let down by CIBC customer service as I have with this branch. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that the staff had little interest in helping customers, thw line-up was huge and it took me an hour to get the counter. The lack of professionalism and courtesy was astounding.

When I approached the counter, the teller seemed more interested in chatting with a colleague than addressing my needs. It felt like I was an inconvenience to their social hour. When I tried to ask questions about my account, I was met with vague and unhelpful responses.

To make matters worse, I had a pressing issue with my account that needed urgent attention. Despite explaining the urgency, they displayed a complete lack of urgency on their part. It took an exasperatingly long time to get a simple problem resolved.

The overall experience left me frustrated, disheartened, and questioning why I chose this bank in the first place. If this is the level of customer service they provide, I'll be exploring other options. It's a shame that such a fundamental aspect of banking is so lacking in this institution.

If I could rate 0 star I will do it but it's not one of the options.

I went to see Nihaya as my advisor. She greeted me with a very warm welcome. She was so professional, knowledgeable and outstanding customer service. This is an example of how all advisors with cibc should be. She was patient, listened to my banking needs and gave sound advice. She was not pushy and forcing banking products that was not suitable, like other advisors. Thank you Nihaya and I Recommend anyone looking for HONEST, RELIABLE, advice from an expert GO TO NIHAYA.

I came here to use atm. However it shows not until July 18th it’s June 13th. Wanted to use atm had to use driverthru which is unsafe specially during nights. Saw notice at doors and was disappointed.

Melissa who was the financial advisor helping us today was absolutely rude and unprofessional. As someone who works in the corporate side of banking I know how important customer service is, if you’re going to be in a customer service role get a better attitude. Secondly don’t act like you are doing us a favour when it’s our money you are handling and we are entitled to it. We have multiple accounts with CIBC and have never received such poor customer service.

Rajat Arora is an asset to this branch, in fact to the entire CIBC. He has been very helpful anytime I needed help. A few weeks ago I had a lot of things to get in order with my banking and Rajat took care of every single task very efficiently. If your business is at this branch, please ask for Rajat and you’ll make your life easy and won’t have to waste your precious time visiting the bank.

A Bank that cannot accept deposits because their system is offline is unimaginable. They could simply accept a deposit, stamp a piece of paper and do their electronic entries when the system came back online. What a lousy bank manager that made the decision to refuse deposits!

Worse experience of my life ever. I have been with CIBC for over 30 years. My rep is no longer with the company, I have received a notification. I live remotely so I tried calling, its been 3 days now, of calling and leaving messages but nothing.extremely disappointed - terrible service.

My mom went to the bank today, and received very bad customer service. From the employees being on there phone and not providing customer service, to the tellers not being helpful when finally being served. When complaining about the customer service they responded very rudely and with attitude.

10 people line up during holidays, two tellers, the third on lunch. When asked why can't they open another teller, I am told because of COVID? I say there is more than two metres of room for them, then the final answer is released: teller on lunch. Which one is it, lunch or COVID or just both? Useless and lying - as bankers usually are.

Nobody seems to be working at this location? Called multiple times on different days and no one ever answers the phone. I left multiple VMs. No one seems to care about giving the customer a call back. Probably the worst banking centre to call if you require an appointment or to speak to a business banking representative.

Worst banking experience ever. The waiting line was long and the reps were rude. Looks like the reps cannot and do not wish to help me with anything. When I asked for things as basic as checking an investment accounts, the rep did't even make an effort to connect me to someone who has access to that info. The staff there kept referring me to online/telephone banking as a final solution to all my requests, which makes me wonder what's the point of opening this branch in person?

Worst service ever. I want to open an account, booked an appointment, took off from work, and when I reached there after 5 mins they said our system is not working. Their rep told me we will create your profile and you can come next day to sign. Trying since morning no answer. Looks like they don’t want customers. Why are you even open if you do not want customers.

I usually go to this branch because it's near my place. But the teller yesterday was very rude to me, she is young arab girl with so much attitude. And when I spoke to the customer service guy he didn't take me seriously and just pretend that everything was ok. Always long line ups and slowest service!

Went to the bank to get my pin reset and to fix my card due to the fact that the tap was no longer working. The wait time was very short much shorter than I expected. Rajat the person who helped me with the issues I was having was quick, efficient and very nice. I had no issues whatsoever it took less than 20 minutes.

The teller that helped me out was quick and efficient with my transaction, she gets my 4 stars. However I was very annoyed by the busy bodies just walking around asking everyone in the long line what they needed from the teller rather then having another teller open up to help serve your customers. There were two individuals just going customer to customer asking us what we needed rather than helping out. Train more tellers to help get rid of line ups so we are not at the bank for a long time.

These people working at this CIBC branch location don't even deserve one star. My small business banking appointment was on Nov 27th, 2020 I will keep the time confidential, with an advisor that was having a constant technical issue with his computer, but he luckily transferred me to a different advisor that refused to reopen all of my business banking accounts on the same day, which I needed it to be done on the same day as it was urgent, therefore he delayed this operation for two whole weeks which I certainly thought at the back of my head that it was totally un calm for. The conclusion I came upon was to switch my bank to a more suitable bank, one that is fully tailored for online businesses like mine. For the readers valuable information: please do intensive online research and some critical thinking before you decide which type of bank account or accounts you want to open for your small business.

Excellent branch. I am always greeted with a 'hello' and smiling faces. Everyone works as a team and are competent in what they are doing. They are extremely time efficient. A very professional and pleasant branch where all of my banking needs are met fast.

Very professional customer handling. Went there to open my account as a new immigrant. Was given an appointment (over phone). The person who received me gave in depth information about different accounts and benefits and looked very knowledgeable while answering all my queries. Paper work was done in quick time and felt like some friend was doing this job for me than a employee in bank. Nice overall human touch and professional in overall approach.

Financial Service Adviser, Tasneem Munib came highly recommended to my wife and I by a friend. We established a good rapport and felt very comfortable with Tasneem; we weren’t treated like “just another client” or talked down to, which was important to us. She was able to interpret the larger economic picture as it impacts on one’s personal financial situation. Take an appropriate interest in one’s personal life situation while at the same time keeping focused on identified goals. Honest, reliable, ethical and highly recommended.

Had worat experience with an international TT money transfer. Oct 12th to Nov 6th, CIBC was unable to complete the TT and I finally jad to request the cancellation. The whole purpose of sending money was deatroyed due to CIBC's lack of knowledge in TT whicb require IBAN. Furthermore I had to do continuous followups via email and personal visits otherwise they dont even care. Thanks to my Financial Advisor Gurpreet who has moved anither branch but still helped me to get this resolved. The branch just took it easy and did not understand how they have famaged my case. They are good for day to day counter low level banking, DO NOT got for complex transactions.

I have read almost all comments here and I am just shaking my head. Our experiences with this branch have always been positive. Jonath Alexander is a stellar manager who could not be more fitted for a role he is doing. He is responsive, makes himself available when called upon and always strives for best customer service experience. Our kids actually think that all bankers are like that. Well let me tell you something, think twice. Our belief is that what makes us banking with CIBC or any other bank is not a bank name or its location, rather it is the people that are the face of the bank. In this case, the branch happens to be CIBC Erin Mills. So for people that feel shorthand by this branch, they can always take their business elsewhere and see how that works out for them. Goodluck.

Amazing customer service and support at this branch. The branch manager was very helpful with all my inquires. I was able to complete all my banking needs in a timely manner and most importantly the employees did an excellent job in creating a plan that works for me. I am their customer for almost 4 years now and I’m extremely satisfied with the best customer services. I have accounts at other banks as well but CBIC Erin Mills branch is ranked as top of the line hands down. Tasneem Munib is my financial advisor and I can say she’s one of the best, passionate about her work and she never let me feel that she’s an advisor but a genuine friendly advice always.

I am not sure why there are any negative reviews about this branch. I have gone here for several years and have never had a problem. The staff may be young, but they are extremely knowledgeable and professional. This must come down to good training brought by the branch manager Jonathan Alexander who hires the right people with great energy.

Never open a bank account with CIBC! We opened chequing account and deposited a certified bank draft. It is sent for processing and they have given us a date of release of funds two months from now! The person who opened our account mis spelt the postal code and we haven't received our credit cards yet. As soon as the funds are released we will be closing CIBC and transferring to rbc.

Friendly staff, easy to use ATM'S that allow for instant deposits instead of waiting in line. However they would benefit from hiring additional staff, as others have noted the lines are always long and the branch seems to be working at a slower pace then the standard.

Why bother having the option of calling to book an appointment when no one picks up the phone? The associate I dealt with at this branch didn't know much about what they were doing. They wasted my time, and it seems many at this branch really have no value for customer service - as noted by many other reviewers. We're moving everything we have at this bank to another. You're much better off at RBC, which is right around the corner.
