Want to share the information that the scheduled appointment is just a HOLD YOUR SPOT. The wait time can be longer than you might have expected.

They can't turn away walk-ins that are really sick, which is totally appreciated and understood. Sharing your humanity is important. But what confused me was why people not going to their family doctors is making the wait time longer this year. Isn't this the same every year?

The doctor that we have met today is patient and listened to us carefully. And everyone is working very hard to serve their patients. Just hope more transparency about wait time will be shared in the future. This will effectively reduce the doctors' effort to give patients a lecture about "clinic expectations". And the front desk staff will be less frequently bothered by inquiry about the wait time.

Fantastic clinic with convenient and affordable parking. We were visiting from the USA and the receptionists accommodated us even though it was a little complicated with insurance. Dr. Etoom was also awesome, he was very helpful and reassuring. Thank you!

The clinic finally has appointments for that reason I'm updating my review to 4 star for booking process and 5 star for the pediatrician she was very attentive and helpful.

Fantastic service! Quick intake process, very short wait to see a doctor. Everyone was very pleasant.

Amazing clinic. Lovely reception and excellent doctors. So thankful for their service to our children.

Booking one appointment at this location is impossible they don't do walk in any more and you can't book your child either the website always states that no sports are available.

Amazing experience, prompt medical care what I looking for in the city for my son. Efficiency and helpful.
Also hospital stuff were very kind and helpful too. Very thankful have this great medical team in the city for kids.

It's a joke they don't treat people.and they hardly take any appointments.it's impossible to book and phone calls are never answered

This used to be my go to clinic but not any more. The new appt system is super ridiculous. I've tried for a solid week to get on and every single day while I am in the middle of filling out the information for the spot I am booking, it goes away and says the day is fully booked. I understand there is a high demand but how do you ask people to fill out a registration and then give their spot away while they are doing it? Every day by 7: 02am same story. Insanity.

This clinic used to be great but of the years it's gone down hill
Belligerent staff, incorrect information on the website.
Inability to provide adequate trauma informed care for children with disabilities.

I understand the medical system has been strained over the pandemic
But this is ridiculous

An exceptional clinic that is efficient and provides prompt medical care for children. The Doctors, Nurses and support staff manage a very high intake of children while maintaining very high quality of care. This clinic is truly a model for the rest of the province and country.

This is the review for Dr. Yousef Ahmad Tawfiq Etoom only. He falsely diagnosed my 7 months old baby and prescribed medication that made my baby throw up 10 times after having it.

He was too lazy to talk to me and he did not really type anything on his computer for the record. And this guy's accent is extremely difficult to understand.

The worst pediatrician I have ever encountered, that's it. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS. Other staff is very heart warming and helpful.

Took my baby girl with bad cold symptoms (barking cough, runny nose, green mocus, fever) and doctor said it was nothing and to just give her tylenol or advil. Few days later I had to take my baby girl to emergency, they did chest x-ray and she has pnemonia. It just feels like at Just for Kids they are in a rush and doctors do Not examine the kids properly. I could've started treating my baby girl earlier with antibiotics, but instead doctors at Just For Kids sent her home with tylenol, as always.

Went for the first time to this clinic on Friday; was seen in a timely fashion for my appointment and the Dr was pleasant, thorough and efficient! She followed up by phone even the next day to see how my son was doing. Love this MD and this centre!

I am so glad that I found this place. Went there two times taking an appointment (online process of getting appointment is so easy), only had to wait max of 15 mts (compared to 6 hrs wait in emergency). Receptionist there is so welcoming, and all Dr s there are so caring. They just listens to all the concerns, and address all the questions.

This is a fantastic clinic for emergency, much better than waiting in the emergency room for 5-6 hours

I love this place. It is open and it takes appointments online-super fast, clean and kind doctors and staff.

I am so happy I found this place. My daughter was born during Covid when it’s nearly impossible to see a Dr. I have brought her here numerous time and they are always through. The doctors go above and beyond and the receptionists are very companionate. It’s extremely refreshing to feel your child is taken care of when they are sick.

It was my first time today to visit JUST FOR KIDS CLINIC and I was very satisfied with my experience.
It was a referral via virtual appointment at Sick kids and since my daughter needs to be further checked in person I was given an exact time for check up. A little far from us but the moment we get there it took us less than 10mins to complete the visit and the environment is really pleasant for kids.

Better to bring your kids here than to the ER! So much faster & comfortable for both kids & parents. Pedestrian & the staff was helpful as well

This Clinic has so convenient working hours for everyone. And they work almost all day! Dr Janine Flanagan was very professional and she explained us everything. She was calm and efficient. It's very specious and clean space for kids. Highly recommended!

Look, as indicated by some of the reviews here, it’s quite obvious the receptionist doesn’t love her job. You won’t befriend her to say the least. She seems annoyed by parents, probably because most of them come worried and anxious, even rude at times. But the clinic is well-run. Lots of space, clean, and the pediatricians, although under time pressure to move to the next patient (which is necessary to avoid line ups) are nice, kind and competent. It’s a great walk-in clinic that offer a much better alternative to the ER when you are seeking non-emergency medical help.

Glad this exist because emergency is crazy busy during covid, only one parent allowed, they give a number and you take the elevator and go to the paediatric floor. You get called your number and its done pretty quickly after that. The paediatrician listened and gave me peace of mind. Go during weekdays and early mornings. Huge area for you child to walk around and very clean. Not as busy. Overall super happy with everything

We were in and out within 30 minutes for my 4 month old. The attending doctor was so calm, gentle, and professional in demeanour. It was a relief to receive this quality care, and to not have to wait for it!

The receptionist is extremely rude. I have gone there a few times and every time I go the experience is worse then the last. The last thing you need when you’re worried about your child being sick is having to deal with someone who is rude. I will not be going back to this clinic which saddens me. The wait times are also extremely long. The Dr.in the clinic gets called to emerge and if this happens, get ready to wait for hours. Why are the only Drs at the clinic being called to emerge? Are there no other Drs? This is why everyone brings their child to the emergency department because if they have to wait for 4 hours they might as well go to emerge and not have to deal with a rude receptionist!

It blows my mind that 2 years have gone by since I posted this review and patients are still complaining about THE SAME RUDE RECEPTIONIST! Why is she still working here? She obviously hates her job. Obviously no one cares about how patients are being treated. Stay away and do yourself a favor and go
to Sick Kids.

Less than 25 mins and we are done. The attending doctor, he was so gentle and great with children. My son normally protests and yet so cooperative today with his cheerful and professional approach.
I am very grateful!
Not every doctor is this kind, patience or understanding.

The only reason I would go there back again is Dr. Alex Barron. He was amazing with my 3 year old son who had very high fever and was feeling quite unwell. We were so lucky to be able to see Dr. Alex. It was Friday evening (November 12,2021), and he must have been really tired with an endless line of patients, yet he made my son feel so comfortable during the visit. He was so friendly and my son laughed at his jokes, which he still remembers and talks about. Dr. Barron was very professional and sympathetic, and he also took his time to explain everything so clearly and patiently. I was almost in tears and so worried about my son, and I now feel that we were so fortunate to see a doctor like him!

Cannot say the same about the reception staff or even about the doctor- a blonde lady- we saw for a follow-up visit on Thursday November 25 at around 11: 00-11: 30 am.

Excellent service. Very efficient, clean and had a good experience with the doctor. We were in and out under 2 hours which is great for a walk in clinic.

Amazing staff, very organized, very conveniently located. Doctors are incredibly friendly and helpful. Brought my son during the pandemic and was pleasantly surprised by all the safety protocols in place - very reassuring especially with a small child.

We brought our newborn here for her 2 day check up and received amazing support and treatment from Dr. Etoom and the rest of the staff/doctors that we saw. We saw Dr. Etoom for follow-up visits and never once received care any less than excellent. He always made sure our questions were answered and that I (worried about everything mama!) was okay. I completely recommend the clinic!

I always take my kids here. Great service, and since it's in a hospital you can access things like x-rays very quickly.

The last check in time is 7: 15 as we called and asked, we arrived at 6: 40 pm, they did not accept us and said they do not accept patients anymore because it is busy! My daughter had fever but they did not accept. We came all the way and we were on time but could not get the doctor to visit my daughter.
So disappointing and irresponsible. I can not believe what they did!

On 2 separate occasions I took my kid in and was misdiagnosed, which resulted in some relatively alarming circumstances. Dr. Flanigan caught onto what was actually up with my 4 year old. She gets ‘s

I've taken my kids several times and the wait is always very reasonable compared to regular walk-ins and the doctors are always great with the kids. This clinic has been a life saver in the winter!

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by how kid-friendly the clinic is and how clean it is kept! We went there 3 times within the first 10 days of our baby's birth and got great service and support. The staff is friendly and so was our doctor (Dr. Etoom). He actually remembered us and suggested we see him specifically when we return for our follow up visit which in my opinion is unheard of at a walk-in clinic! The wait was anywhere from 5mins to 30mins which is pretty great for a walk-in clinic. Highly recommend this clinic!

Doctors are very patient. Wait times can be long, but Worth the wait. Reception lady is always very kind and professional.

I've been here several times with my son. The medical attention & advice is hit and miss; it depends on the Dr you get and how behind they are. Reception is almost always poor. The woman with short grey hair seems to hate her job since she has a miserable bossy disposition and talks to parents in a very condescending way. I don't think I will be going back.

I attended the clinic with my six-year-old daughter, who had been complaining of ear pain. We went at 11: 15 on a Friday morning and were seen by the Doc before noon. I can't complain about that. The Doc was so great with my daughter and seemed truly concerned about her well-being. There are a lot of negative reviews on this clinic but as someone who has been there at least 10 times, I can say that I have never had a "bad" experience. Don't believe the haters, folks.

Never again. I’ve given this place three chances. The wait times here are beyond brutal. I’ve been sitting here with a kid who’s vomitting with an ear infection for an hour and I still have to sit here for at least another 30 minutes. The previous times they gave my kid the wrong diagnosis and wrong meds and once they turned away but 6 month old with a high fever and vomiting because we should up 3 minutes after they stopped taking patients. We were told to go to the ER and needed up waiting there for a good 4-5 hours when the ER was completely empty. They should cut their funding and give to sick Kids who actually cares for the kids. Sick kids all the way in the future. This place is a disgusting excuse for a pediatric clinic

Always helpful and knowledgeable, would do proper tests instead of just prescribe strong antibiotics.
