I’ve had my daughter’s baptism here and now both of my friends baptisms here and the service and food is amazing! Shannon was fantastic! I’ve recommended this place to all my friends and family. Great customer service and great food! I highly recommended this place.

I ordered veal Parmesan, what I got was a dried burger patty purchased from a grocery store, it didn’t even taste like veal, the Alfredo sauce tasted like canned sauce. This is definitely not “AUTHENTIC”

By far the worst restaurant I have ever been to, extremely disappointed that this place considers them self an “Italian restaurant” I am convinced that there food is microwaved after being removed from a frozen box purchased at a no name grocery store, or maybe even a convenience store. One star is being generous as it deserves a negative five star rating! Save your time and money by not going to this restaurant unless you want horrible food.

A true two (2) star restaurant. Dissatisfied with the calamari, veal parmigiana and their ceasar salad mystery dressing. This business serves below average food and delivers very poor overall satisfaction. Go elsewhere for your Italian fare if you have any culinary standards and self respect for your taste buds and your family members. This business is the Ragu flag ship of Barrie's itailian food scene. Should have never tried a new place and stuck with Zio's Itailina Comfort Food on Anne Street. I'm sorry Zio, please forgive me.

Appetizers were alright but the veal parmesan tasted badly and the linguini Alfredo had no taste had to add salt to pasta. Friendly staff but needs a new Chef

Went here for my anniversary dinner with my boyfriend. Found it online and had never heard of it. Made a reservation and the lady was so sweet. Went for the dinner and it was beautiful and quaint. Very quick service that was absolutely fantastic, food was delicious, and did not break the bank which is great especially for two college students. It was a lovely experience and would love to go again!

It was the worst food we had, we have been going to Cicco's here in Barrie and in Minesing for many years. Waited for an hour for our food and when we finally got it it was over cooked and cold.

Tasty food, great pizza, and nice atmosphere. Service can be slow at times, but with our current situation its understandable. Worth a visit.

Sunday we ordered for takeout. Order chicken marsala the food was so tasteless. Chicken marsala should have mushroom on but there was one mushroom in the whole dish. The one piece of chicken was small and dry. Totally not worth $25.00. The bruschetta was just really soggy pieces of bread with tomatoes on it, we ended up just throwing it in the garbage because the bread was so soggy that it was not edible. Ravioli was 4 round pieces of ravioli.
Overall, the meal was tasteless, portion sizes and the value of money spent was not worth it.
If you are looking for authentic italian food this place is not it. Very disappointed!

I do have Italian relatives and worked in Italian restaurant in my younger days so I do know what good wholesome Italian food taste like. Still craving and looking for authentic Italian restaurant in Barrie.

Food was impressive! Our waitress was great - very knowledgeable about the menu! No disappointments and sure to return.

We where there for a Sunday lunch 8 of us. Wasn't to busy
We had and shared calamari they where pretty good. I decided to have a side ceaser salad and gnocchi a la carbonara which was very good. Tiramisu was good maybe hold off on the cream.
Wasn't to expensive and everyone was happy. Pizza was ok wasn't wood fire.

Portions are generous, food is delicious (trust me, try the chicken parm) & staff are fantastic.

Ordered take out from the restaurant. I liked the flavours but it was overloaded with oregano. That’s the only taste that was left behind.
The pasta was perfectly cooked but not enough sauce, it needed more, especially for take out.
I asked for a side order of meatball (to add to my spaghetti meatball order, which normally is 3 but at this place, it was 2) and I got 1 additional meatball. Since I didn’t get a detailed bill - tell you why shortly, I don’t even know how much I paid for 1 meatball.
Went to pick up my order and without being given a receipt the waitress handed me a machine with an additional $13 automatically added to the total I was told on the phone.
I too worked in the restaurant industry and managed a bar and this is not a good way to have your staff treat customers. Owner beware.
I might try a dine in experience in the future but I would definitely double check my bill.

Wait staff were very nice and energetic. The pasta I had was very tasty and everyone else had great things to say about theirs. Very enjoyable experience.

Cicco's is absolutely incredible. By far my favorite Italian restaurant in Barrie. The Chicken parm is to die for!

Have a good time here, Chicken Parmesan was really good and the Cesar Salad was really good also. Service was great and friendly.

Lovely food and ambiance. The menu is limited only to emphasize it's delicious offerings. Well priced for decent portions.

This is not authentic Italian food.
(sauce tasted like it was from a can, calamari was salty, chicken was hard)

Poor service took over three hours to have dinner, dirty tables not cleaned. Would not go back.

Great staff, great environment, great food, and great booze. Pretty amazing cook too:) always feels like everyone knows everyone and your soon part of the family. Truly amazing place to be

Was in the neighborhood and heard good things decided to try it out was welcomed with a smiling face I believe Shannon was her name she was attentive and we'll informed when I asked about items pertaining to my dietary needs. Portions were great and the quality of food was spot on. The food was exceptional and our server - Shannon - was amazing. We trusted her with a choice of drink for us and she didn't disappoint! She's the best!

Had the gnocchi carbonara, it was rich and the gnocchi was light and fluffy. Shannon was a great server, she went above and beyond for us!

Great pizza and wings combo deal they had last Saturday night.
Great atmosphere and love the live music. Little pricey but totally worth it

Karaoke is always fun here. Even the patrons are easy to get along with. Very friendly and welcoming.

My friend and I went there for lunch (and to avail the last day of Barrilicious). The ambiance provided much needed break from the bright sunlight outside, the seating was sleek and comfortable. Our host, Adam, was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The food came out timely and was absolutely delicious, with generous portion sizes. I had wild mushroom bruschetta pizza, eggplant parmesan and finished with the triple mocha cake. Everything was cooked to perfection and well presented. Thoroughly enjoyed the lunchtime fare here!

Great food, nice environment for the most part. Our waitress was very inattentive and slow, she didn't appear to have any j terest in her job which was disappointing. I imagine the experience of the restaurant would be great otherwise. Nice drinks, and food. And an atmosphere I could see myself enjoying year round.

First off I would like to say that the food was amazing. We had the gnocchi and the lasagna, and both were really tasty.

My reason for giving two stars is that the waitress was friendly, but service was extremely slow, and she quite literally left the restaurant in the middle of her shift (?).

I'm sure it's a nice restaurant, I just think there should have been another staff member working so she didn't have to be running around serving everyone by herself.

Good food, great prices. The only issue was past 9 the music was turned up and became a hang out spot rather than a restaurant.

One of my favorite restaurants to go to! The pizza and Caesar salad is my go to option whenever we get a chance to go for dinner or lunch. Highly recommend!

First time visiting this restaurant. I ordered the special salmon with maple syrup drizzle along with risotto. The salmon did not have any maple and the risotto was very soggy. The group of about 20 people all had their meals and were pretty much finished, when mine arrived. The waitress did her best to keep everyone happy. I will not be returning!

I wish I could give no stars. We were a last minute party coming in without a reservation, as such we expected to wait until seating was available or a simple "I'm sorry we're fully booked" would have sufficed. They were very accommodating and took our party of 7 with a big smile. We felt warmed and welcomed which then turned into one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had in all of my years. I have been in the service industry for many years and was in amazement as to how poorly the managerial staff handled the situation.
We were seated and waiting when our server approached us and one of the people in our party requested water for the table and before anyone else was able to request any other drinks, she was gone. She came back realtively quickly with the water but seemed to be running off once someone would ask for their respective drink without acknowledging anyone else in our party. It took us several attempts to get our drinks, all in all nearly 15-20 minutes for a couple cocktails, a coffee, and pop. As we sat waiting for drinks we also had no menus. We were asked for the menus were told that the restaurant did not have enough menus because they were having then printed. Fair enough.
As we were placing our orders my sister asked what risotto was, as never having it before. The waitress explained that it was a rice dish with vegetables and topped with salmon. My sister clearly explained that she is not able to have dairy. The waitress said not at all a not problem, the rissoto is perfectly compliant, tings seemed to be going well enough.
The dinner came out in odd bunches and incorrectly. Both pizza orders were wrong, portions were scant, and the risotto was covered with cream. For a place where each plate is roughly 20-30 you would expect a certain level of quality. Maybe it was an off night but for what we payed, I've had better food at mucho burrito. We wondered if maybe the food came out wrong because there was an acoustic guitarist/singer playing so loudly you had to scream across the table for someone to hear you.
This is where we think the staff was upset because my mother, who was visiting from the states requested the turn the volume down to an appropriate level for some sort of conversational English. Not like we were in the trenches of WWII, with bombs dropping around us. I digress.
My sister explained again that she could not have dairy and that her dish was full of dairy, the waitress apologized and swifty replaced her meal. We were very thankful for her timeliness in rectifying the issue and thanked her.
This was when things really took a turn as the manager came out and asked how our evening was. My mother began to explain that things were not going very well and had hardly begun to explain our grievance when she was quickly interrupted when the manager stated "I'm a person too". Perplexed my mother asked that she let her finish and explained why the service hadn't been very good. The manager repeatedly interrupted my mother to the point where my mom turned back to the table and dismissed the manager. The manager, offended, stomped, actually stomped, back to the kitchen. She came back out and explained that the waitress wasn't comfortable serving us from the beginning.
Now, as a manager you never sell out your waitstaff, ever. A part of being the head of house is to apologize and thank the customers for coming in. Especially never telling the customer that your waitress was complaining about the table in the BOH. That is the epitome of poor management. The manager contained to argue about the situation and refused to act like professional-maybe she is the owner and if so, this is the SOS Titanic and your ship is going to sink. The circus ended with being asked to if we could "pay out bill and leave in a civil manner. "I was astounded, not once did we raise our voice or behave rudely. I wouldn't go to this place if you plan on getting good food or good service.

Dinner with several other retired nurses. Great meals for all. Table service was A+. Attentive but not obtrusive. We had best bruchetta, good lasagna and marvelous ravioli.
Thanks to you all, we will return.

That's was my first time there, but I love it, I will back there again, I like the food, and the services

Sometimes they have entertainment and my daughter played there a while back. We packed the place, and the wait staff was great. I don’t think one person in our party of about 50 had a bad time.
Food is delicious. Staff is friendly. Ambiance is elegant and comfortable.
Recommend!

Was surprised to find out it was Barrielicous was happening and for a great deal on some super yummy quality good. I had the Chicken Saltimbocca with linguine aglio e lio. Delicious and the presentation was phenomenal. However for no pictures because I ate it all. Our server Shannon was so polite and welcoming, I wanted to just keep eatting but everything good must come to an end.
Will absolutely be back, Barrielicous or not.
