Wished if I hadn't watch the film here, this theater just spoiled the movie experience. One of the worst theatres I have been to. I think we hardly find theatres like this in Indian villages nowadays. Indians deserve better theatre experience in a city like OTTAWA, ONTARIO, CANADA!

The only thing I would change is the lighting before and after the movie.
It is quite difficult to find your way to a seat while lights are so dimly lit.

Greatest place ever. Glad they're still open! Affordable movies, comfortable seats, and cheap snacks. Can't get any better!

Worst sound system. Every-time I go I get headaches. Unfortunately they play South Indian movies only there in Ottawa.

Very difficult to try to find our way to the theater when the address is wrong. Zero advertising anywhere. Was essentially wandering around in the streets trying to find it with GPS. No luck after 10 minutes so we gave up and left. Maybe they should advertise better or have some kind of signage. Or maybe fix the address. Not sure but quite annoying.

Feels exactly like going to the movies in the 1980s - which is not a bad thing if you don't like $24 tickets, reserved seating, or $48 on a popcorn package!

The cinema sound could honestly be better, but again, $5 tickets and inexpensive snacks on last-run flicks are a great deal for an old-school movie night out. For a group or the family, it really makes sense to go here, not a Cineplex.

Absolutely horrendous service and experience.
After two years of Covid, you would think that the owners here would be happy to serve customers coming to see a movie.
Cold popcorn, no sanitation in place, false advertisement online for pricing, the list goes on. After even mentioning these concerns, this old hag Louise had no concern on hearing out what was wrong with the establishment. I’ve worked many years in the service industry and never have I ever been taken back by such poor service.
Save your money, keep your blood pressure down and avoid this place at all cost.

I go quite often, and always have a very good time. Price is right, great way to enjoy films that don't require IMAX level screens, and the staff is always very friendly. 5/5 for the average movie goer.

I recently tried to book a couple of screens for a private showing. The messenger function of their website was failing intermittently. I tried to call by phone, but the 300 extension leads to an answering service, in which the number to call was given very quickly, then auto hangs up. I had to call back three times to ensure that the number was correct.

When I finally spoke to a manager, he was very aggressive. I thought he would want to know that his website had a glitch, but he was dismissive (I always get the messages.) When I mentioned the answering machine, he was again rude (You are calling me on this number. It is fine. What do you want?) I ended up not being able to continue or book the screens for the corporate event. So, 0/5 for special services.

Excellent theater for the price you pay. Feels like a timewarp going here. Cheap snacks as well. Seats are pretty worn, but otherwise, it's a good experience.

Great films. Comfortable seats and great eats! Oh did I mention a great ticket price! Support local.
30 April 2021 18:27
Great to be back to a movie. Not many people there. Lots of room for distancing. Popcorn was fresh. Good movie date night.
21 April 2021 7:25
Amazing prices. Everyone is nice. Decor is dated but a great way to see a movie at a reasonable cost.
06 February 2021 22:42
Albeit slightly rundown, everything is apt clean and organized, the movies are cheap, and the food is great. Great for large gatherings since the theaters are hardly ever filled.
26 April 2020 2:16
Great value, big screen. Bunch of elderly ladies talking out loud during the movie - but young people these days, right?

I really enjoy this little theater in the heart of Orleans. Movies are always inexpensive, no gouging done here. Ticket prices are almost always $5.00.you can easily have a date night here without breaking the bank. A movie for two with the most expensive popcorn combo ran me less than $25 which is the cost of two GA passes at one of the bigger theaters

For the price, we can't really complain. It's a very old theater with an outdated look, rundown equipment and food machines. The popcorn is pretty dry yet has flavor, but the soda has a bizarre, rusty taste to it which is worrying since the fountain machines seem very old. The theaters themselves host a medium sized screen, smaller than your usual theater, and the chairs are very old and not so comfortable. But as stated, for the price there is no complaining. You could watch a movie with everything needed for about 10-15$. Great place for a quick movie on a whim, but not for the movie experience itself.
09 March 2020 23:33
It was a normal movie theatre, seats just ok, sound system is also just ok, nothing great, everything just satisfactory.
09 March 2020 0:58
Nice theatre! Old school-style seating was very enjoyable. Volume wasn't crazy loud, great experience over all. The only minor draw back was that they didn't let you in the theater until 5 minutes before show time which can be a little problematic with young kids (we arrived early so we could get settled in before the show).
03 March 2020 5:10
I love this place, but be warned that it's definitely an old theater. Things are not always working and you might need to make do with what they have but for the price? You can't go wrong.

Absolutely the MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE in my life! This place cannot belong to canada! Sooo dirty.no safety measurement.to start with u r shocked with the apperence of the 1st floor and then u realise that there is no elevator.so with trolly and kids good luck.once u make it to the stairs.there is bunch of kids in the counter.runing the show.they take it as if it a fun.and they r soo much angry as most of the teangers.ourmovie is supposed to starts at 1 and until 12 55there e was total darkness in the theater.intil a gentleman with his special needs boy asks thenm to put the light on.and rhey were not happy.my gorl was 4 so she needs a booster.they were in dispute if there was a higher one or not.ot s 2 degree outside and it was cold inside.toilettes are messy with no soap.dont go tgere even if it s free

Old theatre running few weeks old movies for only 5 bucks. Nice folks coming here, not too crowded.
But if you're younger and/or glitter, neon lights and 3d glasses are a must for you, I'd suggest to find the extra 8-12 bucks and go to a modern place.
PS: I like my 2003 car over the 2015, just because is way easier to drive, it has visibility, never breaks and is too slow to make me catch a speeding ticket! Same thing applies to movie theatres I guess!
11 February 2020 16:27
Don’t dismiss this theatre for being ‘just a cheap place’. The location, environment and setting is actually perfect and really has a very relaxing and comfortable vibe to it. Absolutely worth going to!
16 January 2020 22:23
You can't beat the price of $5 for a movie. The seats are comfortable, it's clean and usually not packed. The staff is also friendly.
05 January 2020 20:17
Went to see Downton Abbey, was great. Roomy seats, comfortable, good snacks and not too busy. Was a bit cool since the heat was not on.
29 December 2019 13:28
Cheap ticket, extremely cold theater, good popcorn, broken foozeball table, a unique vibe, pausing films, recommended
19 December 2019 23:34
A good place to see movies at a great price. It is never too crowded. A lot of times movies will play there while still in the main theatres, just start a couple of weeks later.
The place is still well maintained and the sound and picture quality is good. They also show french versions of some movies.
Tickets are sold at the concession stand so leave yourself enough time to go before the movie starts.
08 September 2019 10:36
Always like coming here with kids. It's very cheap comparing to the regular movies. If you can wait, it's worth it.
27 August 2019 22:59
Great for the kids. It lacks the amenities of a newer theatre, but $5 movies can’t be beat. Cheap snack and drink combos too.
19 August 2019 1:17
While its rundown it's very comfortable and inexpensive. 5 tickets, 2 popcorns and a couple of drinks for $35. Great experience.
14 August 2019 19:32
This is a great theatre. The popcorn is so good and doesn't cost a fortune to see and movie and get snacks.
09 August 2019 2:36
Admission for a family of four with snacks and a drink for around forty bucks is a perfect way to spend a rainy afternoon.
01 June 2019 14:19
Great price, but not ideal for young children. Ours are 6 and 8, and they could not see the screen unless they sat in the front third of the room. This had never happened to us - the theatre does look old. We tried the booster seats, but they would not have been able to rest their back on their seat. We ended up choosing corner seats on the sides of the room.
11 May 2019 18:14
Prices were great, only $6 each on a Friday. Movie quality was excellent. Lots of seating and movie options. Always a good choice of movies playing.
09 May 2019 19:43
The theater is a bit dated, but hey, $5 for a movie is fantastic. The screen and sound quality is great.
30 April 2019 2:13
A retro 'Gauntlet' 90's version arcade game is cool. Broken foozball table, but there's massage chairs. The theater was good and the volume was reasonable. Chairs very comfortable
18 April 2019 13:48
Seating is not that comfortable. The people who are sitting on the front will sure have a neck pain next day.
15 April 2019 9:41
Can't beat their prices for movies and snacks - if you don't mind waiting a few weeks to see a movie here.
