Blaming the corporation, not the staff. The holiday hours are posted in person, but the schedule for the movie listings hasn't been updated.

Rushed here to catch the start of a movie where the location hasn't actually opened.

I don't understand why the seats lean back without one wanting to lean them back. Maybe they are designed for very light people. I always get a headache from my neck getting overextended. If one is in the front, I can see why but what's the point if it doesn't allow you to see the screen? !
Also, they keep the theatre very cold for some reason. I was cold with my winter jacket.

This is the first time used Fairview cineplex in a long time. The staff were very friendly including lots of good customer service. Though scene is used very differently now. The person who I bought my tickets from helped me use money on my scene towards a discount.

We went here for a movie Jawan. I enjoyed the movie in Cineplex.the nachos and chicken sandwich we bought in Cineplex were good too

The most conveniently located of the 3 movie cinema options near me. We always have a good time regardless of the movie. Parking is usually easy. The staff are usually doing their jobs well. All in all everything runs well as it should and there's nothing that takes my mind off enjoying the movie experience.

Sound system is weak + chair not as comfy as other cinemas prob due to the age of the facility.
Food options were unavailable (nachos) on a not busy Wednesday.

I really miss this place so I placed ordered some popcorn for a movie night at home it was delicious. Can't wait to actually go back in person.

Ordered through Uber Eats to have a movie night at home. No regrets, it was great! Definitely will be doing it again.

Great local cinema. Not many fancy choices like IMAX, UltraAVX, Dolby Atmos/Vision.etc here but close to where I live.

Cute theatre tucked away in Fairview Mall everytime I visit here we have fast service getting our tickets and food Nice set of arcade games to play before or after your movie. Great place to bring family and friends and have a birthday party as well

Very nice place. Standard good north american cinema. 4 instead of 5 stars is standard for me when rating overpriced places - 2 popcorn, 2 water, 1 candy - 33 dollars! Ridiculous.

Love it, went with my 4 month old to a stars and strollers movie and they had a change table and a bottle warmer. My only suggestion is please do not dim the lights too much going forward as it is a bit hard to see to change your baby. Also, can you add a garbage can for diapers?

Great place to watch movie. Clean and comfy. Also, awesome stuff. Today had some issues with my tickets - Kenneth, guy who works on the front desk, helped me to solve this problem so I spend really good evening with my girlfriend. Thank you for doing this.

Terrible location, almost impossible to find and utterly dirty!

It's inside the mall but the entrance isn't visible until you are right in front of it. From the passage, all you can see is the Shoppers Drug Mart!
Onece you have found it, it's a flight of stairs above.

The seats are dirty, the floor inside the hall are dirty and sticky from all of the food and drinks being dropped. I guess they just pick up the rubbish but surely never wipe anything.

I won't go there again for sure.

Great movie theater. Went during the middle of the week and hardly anyone was there. Seats were comfortable. Dont allow outside food or drinks so be prepared to get screwed with the usual gouging of prices at any theater.

Pretty good theater here, not the biggest selection of movies since it's not huge but it usually has all the bigger new things. The AVX seating is comfortable and the screens are pretty big, but no IMAX or VIP seating here, so it doesnt really compare to the nicer places. As usual, concessions and food is overpriced, it'll cost you more than a movie ticket to get popcorn and a drink.

Unfortunately, not clean Cinema at all! Doesn’t worth the money! Halls are very small and very old. I was shocked and negatively surprised

Movie theater didn't start on time when I first visited this location. Second time, couple of drunk People ruining the movie for everyone. One of the Asian manager didn't seem to really care even though the whole theatre complained. Other managers were able Wouldn't come here if not it's right beside my house. Not impressed.

Have had good experiences at this theater, clean theater rooms, friendly staff, ample parking outside. Gets kind of chaotic with the Fairview Mall traffic, but just exercise some patience.

Little side note to the dumb review listed below that gave this place one star because the "popcorn and drinks are very expensive". Was this the first ever movie theater you've ever gone to? Eat before you go to the movie, or sneak in food like others do.

We watched a movie, Paul The Apostle and had a great time. Got my popcorn and drink but even at noon, there was a line by the snack counter (as always). The cinema itself is clean as well as the washroom, except for the Yorkdale Cineplex Cinema which is notorious for for being untidy and smelly maybe due to the high volume of users or the lack of cleaners.

Good experience, but these theaters need a massive overhaul. The bathrooms are in need of cleaning all the time lol

Half price tuesdays are great, any other time might get expensive. The popcorn will always cost you an arm and a leg.

After 13 years I went first time but it was very disappointed no cash counter was not in order all of them were down and washroom were so disgusting unbelievable management team were really roud

Like all the other Cineplex it was clean and has the game area before the movie the children loves it

This is my go-to cinema experience in Markham. The facility is so nice, the staff is friendly (though it is a shame they got rid of almost all human presence as ticket sales in favour of the ticket machines).

The VIP experience is also great. It is totally separate from kids, so I am not worried about children talking through movies. (Now, if I could just get my fellow millennials to get off their phones.) The in-seat service for food is fantastic, because it allows you to not abandon your friends or significant other in order to go and get food and drinks.

They also show a wide variety of ads and previews, not JUST Cineplex stuff, which can get repetitive and boring if you see all of the blockbusters like I do. Great theatre!

It’s a basic movie theater, nothing special. I generally don’t prefer movie theatres that are in malls. I like regular standalone movie theaters, but those things are often difficult to find. But since I live near Markham, try out the Markham VIP cinema theater. It has A wide variety of choices, such as VIP, IMAX, etc.

The movie theatre itself is great, friendly customer service and comfortable seating especially since we went in for a DBOX experience. However, customer service and food options were not great. Firstly, Yoyo did not have much topping options for their frozen yogurt. Secondly, the customer service at Outtakes was poor; they took forever to take our order and when that was taken, one of the guys were just waiting and watching the other person, and so we continued to wait only to see him move in a few minutes to put the frozen chicken bites in the fryer. It took much longer than we had expected it to, and we were a couple minutes late for the movie.

On another note, the washroom is unbelievably clean and beautiful with TV screens inside.

The best 3D movie experience of my whole life! I watched Aladdin in this Cineplex and I definitely enjoyed it.

Smaller theaters, lots of food choices in the mall as your close to the food court & there are many places outside the theater.
Parking can be a hassle, but if you don't mind a small walk there is lots of spots on either side of the main mall entrance.
I would not recommend watching a late night show if your relying on the TTC, they shut access to the mall after 10pm & you will have to walk to Don Mills for a bus or get a taxi service to pick you up, very inconvenient.
Movies can sell out & it is limited cinemas as this is an older theater. Matinees are good for families & the mall is not bad. The fact that Sears closed down & some idiot planner put the TTC entrance there, means you have to walk around the outside of the mall to access one of 2 TTC entrances. No respect for pedestrians with this mall.

Convenient location, clean, and mostly friendly staff. They also have some arcade games in one corner of the lobby. I personally think the food quality is a bit lower than the Cineplex at Yonge and Eglinton.

It is always convenient to watch the movies as we buy our tickets online and not needing to print them. We watched Aquaman and Bumblebee, both movies are good but i love the Aquaman. Truly enjoyed it. The Fairviemall Cineplex's washrooms are clean, the staff are nice.the location is superb! Is closed to Sportchek, Shoppers Drug, Tim Horton's, Real Fruit, and the newly opened Pablo's.

Clean facility and for a Monday matinee, it was nice and quiet. Washrooms are clean. No long line-ups.

Watched a great in reclining seats and lost my keys. Went back the next day and they had them. Watch out for the reclining seats and enjoy the show!
