Cineplex Cinemas Oakville and VIP

The seats are nice and comfy and feels clean. Very spacious. Reclines back and you can have your feet fully up. Decent food choices if you are out of time and need to eat dinner along with your movie. Although pricing is a bit higher than going to a restaurant for the portions you would be getting. All seats seem to have a good view.

VIP theatres need to be cleaned better. Seat tables gross. And VIP concession not open before movie. Need to order from your seat or go downstairs to get food.

I did not receive our food order in a timely manner. Husband didn't receive his at all. When mine arrived it was cold. Returned mine. I don't think I would waste money on food.

This is by far the worst VIP cinemas I’ve been to. The seats are squished together and they do not recline at all. Winston Churchill VIP Cineplex is 100 times better, please just drive there.

Also, we’ve never had any VIP attendant ever ask us for our drivers license before. Evidently look like we’re over the age of 19. I think they may have new staff hence the awkward interactions.

Haven’t been to the movies in a while so we decided to go one day when it was raining. Movie Equalizer 3 was awesome however, this theatre is old. The VIP seats need to be upgraded and the service was really slow. My food came out after the movie was already started. I recommend the Winston Churchill location over this one - Won’t be back.

The VIP cinema experience was sub par. The floors were sticky walking in. Even the carpeting was sticky. My VIP chair was stuck extended back, and my companion's was stuck forward. There was old popcorn and garbage between the seat and armrest. I'm happy to pay extra for a VIP experience, but if they don't literally clean up their act at this location, it is not the VIP experience you are looking for.

Conveniently located close to restaurants like Harvey's, Kelsey's and Milestone. Friendly staff. Food and drinks are expensive. Spacious and comfortable seats, especially in the VIP lounges. Fewer movies options available to pick from in comparison to other Cineplex theaters.

Terrible customer service.

The manager and people working at the register do not care to talk to customers with respect, decency or integrity.

They would rather lose customers than give $1.50 worth of butter to compensate for broken machines.

If you want a decent cinema experience go somewhere else.

Might as well bring your own snacks and popcorn rather than spend $150 on tickets and snacks just to be told you have to pay for their negligence.

We had the worst experience at VIP Oakville today. Bought 4 VIP tickets and due to machine error was asked to pick them at the counter. When we went to the counter to get the tickets, was told by a rude representative Alexis B that no transaction has been made. Although we showed her proof that our bank account has been charged, she was not ready to listen and denied the fact that we have bought tickets even when showed her proof of screenshot of the machine error. Rather she told us we need to dispute it with customer service as she cannot see any proof that the transaction was made even though we were charged. Left with no choice, we went and bought another 4 VIP passes. 15 mins later she rudely came and literally threw the tickets at the table where we were sitting and said I can now see that the transaction was done and was able to print. We ended up paying twice for something that wasn’t even our fault. She did not apologize for what happened and the technical error and was not able to be resolve the dispute in an effective manner leading to unhappy customers. Did not expect this level of customer service from VIP cineplex being a regular VIP cineplex customer.

For opening weekend of Tenet, this place is quite. On a regular Sunday, this place would be packed.
There were less than 10 cars in the lot at 11: 45am.
We have reserved tickets for noon. Once inside, there were 4 people in the lobby. Got our popcorn and drinks, got to our seats in no time.
3 seats separate us from the next customer on either side of us and no one in the row in front and behind us. We felt pretty safe with this distancing. I counted 12 people for this show.
Tenet can be a bit confusing to follow at times. I'll give it 8/10.
Used the men's room before leaving the cinema. Surprised there is distancing at the sink area but nothing in place for the urinals. Mask use is mandatory in common areas, except when eating and drinking at your seat.

Glad Cineplex rethought their policy of wearing masks, I regret that inside spaces will still delay me returning to their theatres due to poor HVAC systems until the current public health crisis abates and a vaccine is available but this is just my opinion. This location at Wyecroft Rd. & Burloak Dr.comes with the improved unobstructed lobby layout so it never seems too crowded. Lots of parking surrounding along with the Cara Food Group restaurants: Milestones, Kelseys, Montana's, Swiss Chalet & Harveys ready to serve you before of after your movie or event. Excellent access to QEW/403 access. Have used this location for a birthday party and staff could not have been more helpful. VIP level available but haven't been upstairs in a while now but worth it if you're fine with the additional cost and preferred guest amenities. VIP 18+

This is how enjoying a movie at a cinema should be for adults. Great seating, relaxed preshow lounge and restaurant which allows alcoholic drinks to be swrved snd consumed in the theatre. Quite the experience. Will do again!

Great theater! VIP is a fun and unique experience but AVX has a bigger screen, better sound, and the option of DBOX seats

Watched a children’s movie. The place needs to be thoroughly steam cleaned!
The flooring is filthy! The counters have liquids spilled all over them! For the amount of money you spend at one visit, one must demand quality in return!
The staff is friendly and courteous, most are high school students and are not trained to do all required to maintain the complex.
There needs to be a more experienced staff running the facility to provide the services required.
I go because of convenience over anything.

Had our annual kids Christmas party here. And I got to say it was a very nice setup. Super clean. Organized and the staff was very courteous. The main drawback was once you were in the theater. Very cramped and tight. Always felt like I was going to hit the seat in front of me. And I got very restless 1/2way through the movie due to the comfort of the seats. For the money spend on the main foyer. And concession area. They could have upgraded the seats like all other places. We are there for the movie.

Not as good as other VIP theaters, for the seats and space allotted per seat, I've been in but the service was excellent

Theatre was great. My daughter wanted to play at the arcade afterwards. I ended up buying a $25 play card. Complete waste of money. We had one game work for us. All of the games cost $1 and up. The balls for ski ball would not come back on their own, several machines took our money but did not work (pac man, connect four). There was only one girl working there and she was kind enough to add points back but what good is it if there are no machines to play? Of course the $4 one where you try to win a huge ball was functioning (coincidental?). The employee told me that they have been having issues with machines and the ski ball machine hasn't been functioning in the 5 years she has worked there. I now have a $25 card that is effectively useless. Steer clear of the arcade! Totally disappointed as was my daughter.

Awesome movie theater, great sound and video quality. However, the popcorn is somewhat expensive. The seats have good leveling so you don't have to worry about someone's head blocking your view and there are plenty of clean bathrooms. Also they have a drink machine with tons of different drinks, like Sprite, Fanta, Coke and much more. Each of the drinks come in multiple flavours like cherry, strawberry, vanilla, orange, lime and more. I recommend this place.

Very nice movie theatre. The VIP experience is amazing. The menu there is unexpected and shockingly great! The pulled pork pizza is delicious. The drink selections are also fantastic! I recomend trying the VIP lounge on a Friday or Saturday night as they have a great bartender on those nights named Rick. He has been there a long time as is great to talk to and makes the best drinks. Our server was absolutely the best we had had in a long time. I believe her name was Sam. The VIP experience is very highly recommended. It is a little on the pricy side but it is to be expected. Reserved seating, food and drinks delivered to your seat and NO KIDS! Had a great time this past weekend at the Cineplex in Oakville.

I enjoy going to the movies, however I hate crowded theatres, especially with children in it. After seeing a movie in the theatres that was completely packed and we got stuck with a kids birthday party sitting beside us, we decided it was time to try the VIP theatre. It ruined us! We can’t go back! Extremely comfortable seating, food brought to your seat, alcohol served.and best of all.no children! It’s heaven! I love buying the tickets online and getting the seats we want, not having to wait in line. VIP is the way to go!

It's pretty hard to screw up dinner and the movies with Cineplex VIP but low and behold, the Wyecroft location in Oakville did that for us.

We did not come in expecting a 5 star dinner, however how do you screw up a harvest salad by not bringing one with cucumber in it and the dressing like it advertises? Once brought to the servers attention (Nicole), she brings back another one apologizing and saying extra tomatoes and carrots were added.she forgot to mention the shredded cheese that looked like it was scraped off someone else s plate. There is no excuse for that and it is pretty disgusting.

A manager comes in to the picture who introduced him self as such but never caught his name. He apologizes and says he has 3 trainees working.we are also the only table ordering food and the cinema is a ghost town.please go on with the lame excuses.

So there is clearly no supervision with the food coming out of the kitchen and we were so disgusted we had to go across the street to swiss chalet which is something we should have done to begin with and never have eaten there.

Nice movie theatre and not very busy. The prices are ridiculously high. I got in with popcorn and a drink with ticket for $30. I could get the same food for about $3 if I went to a grocery store and the movie is most likely going to be out on a streaming service soon anyways (such as Netflix, Amazon prime video, etc) so it is honestly not worth it unless you have a gift card. I also dislike that Cineplex is using automative cashier's, they are annoying to use, they make the customer do more work, and they make people lose jobs. Not very happy and I would say just stay home and watch a movie there.

Great place to see a movie. Has a very nice bar area that I don't think people know about or just don't check it out.

Love the VIP experience here. Took my mom for thr first time and she said " too bad they only came out with this now instead of when I was younger"! Associates are warm and helpful. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Certainly a good place to go to see a movie.

Excellent service, always professional in the VIP section. My go to cinema, highly recommend to everyone.

Love the VIP lounge for grabbing a drink and snack before the movie! Theatre is never too busy and parking is easy.

Great movie viewing but the in seat food service is awkward. The armrest tables are small do not adjust. To fit the food trays you must either wear a corset or have and of steel.

Nice, however we went to VIP and i didn't appreciate all the people chewing food around me. It really takes away from the movie. There should no loud chewing policy
