Cineplex Cinemas Pickering and VIP

The VIP section is spectacular, especially for movies with lots of special effects and required atmosphere

The seats were great but I found it too crowded and no social distancing the staffs at the concessions were nice and friendly the ones at the outakes area was not.

I absolutely love this theater! Every theater has full recliner, except the clubhouse which has different comfortable seating and a huge play area for the kids that is available for about an hour before the show starts! It's anyways very clean and staff are always very friendly!

This theatre is clean and comfy. Love the VIP lounge seats. Good food choices. And fun that they have an arcade to entertain kids while we wait. Always well staffed and nice servers. Would recommend.

Came here for the VIP experience. Everyone from the check in and in the theater was very friendly. Even though they switched my drinks with somebody else, they quickly fixed the order and apologized. Great experience overall!

Clean, smaller than our usual ones but I prefer it tbh. We went for VIP viewing and the seats were heated and reclined. Staff were polite, friendly and efficient, taking all the necessary precautions! Definitely our new local cinema

Might be the newest installment of theatres in the Greater Toronto Area. The parking lot isn't that big but I was always able to find a spot. Nice recliners, friendly staff and has VIP theatres. Reserve your seat online and enjoy!

The theatre literally smelled like old cheese & the seats were dirty. You can feel the dirt rubbing off on your clothes. The service is OK but the theatre itself felt like it wasnt clean at all. As if they dont sanitize after every show which is a BIG NO NO during Covid19 pandemic. Some seats dont even have heating. If were paying for VIP experience, it should be some what worth it and not feel like youre just spending money to waste it in a dirty environment. GROSSED OUT by our experience.

Good screen size n Comfortable reclining seats helped in enjoying the movie since it was over 2 hours running. Staff are courteous n helpful. Covid protocols being maintained.

Love how they have seats that recline! Also if you're watching a VIP show, you can always go to the VIP section for 19+ before or after your show and bring your order into the movie

Me and my friends went to the VIP, we loved the whole experience of wide comfortable recliner chairs with seat warmers. It was very nice and clean from the moment we stepped in the front doors. Nice big screen, amazing sound. We will definitely be back again.

Love the movies and while trying to support local theaters, it's sad to see that literally no one is coming out. It's empty and probably safer than going to a restaurant, but still no one. I truly hope this business sticks around after COVID is over. Thanks to the workers for trying and for keeping it clean and safe.

We attended the 7 pm show. The theater was not crowded. The nearer it got to showtime the louder the volume became. I asked the attendant if the volume could be reduced. They said they would ask. The volume was reduced to an appropriate level and we thoroughly enjoyed the show. Thank you so much.

First time seeing movie at Pickering Cineplex Cinemas since Toronto Cinemas has closed their doors. They have amazing leather seat like last boy and spacious entry to get to your seat. So it was nice change of scenery.

This theatre is Beyond nice. So clean and so amazing. I get so excited whenever I get to come here. The seats in the VIP theatre are so comfortable and I love how far they recline. The workers are so friendly and helpful. I cannot wait for theatres to open back up so I can go back

Honestly, cashier double charged us; management did nothing to resolve this. Courtney, Alek and Kyla P did absolutely nothing to resolve this. In a time like this, I went out of my way to take my children to the
Movies. Courtney the manager on duty completely dismissed my complaint, I had to literally complain to everyone to get a refund. Cineplex Directors and CRO’s please work with your employees. My children and I missed 45 minutes of my movie because of this. Then to make things “better” you offer me a free fries? Really? Lol. Terrible. Please work directly with workers to
Ensure that this doesn’t happen again. Will never ever visit this location again.

I went there to see the movie 1978 Halloween and l can tell you that its really comfortable sitting in there because they have reclining sits so its really comfortable now

Safe and sanitized. We feel safe visiting this premises. Cineplex has done a good job in implementing safety guidelines. TY

Not crowded. Clubhouse is the best for kids and families. Few people and less stressful to be at.

Awesome experience! The theatre is clean and follows social distancing practices. I went with my family and we were warmly greeted at the door by an employee named Jim who made us feel very welcome and answered all of our questions. Definitely recommend this theatre for a quality outing with friends/family.

My favourite theatre hands down and once you go pickering you cant go back. Since its a new theatre it is fully renovated with leather seats and recliners in all show rooms and also the staff at the concession is really nice and make you feel welcome all the time. I go here atleast 2 times a month. I do not live near her but make the trip because such a well maintained theatre

D-Box seats for an action thriller were awesome! There are only a few of them so book quickly! Love the special pandemic promo pricing - distancing measures and cleaning between showings make it easy to spend time with family and help the GTA economy.

Super clean, super professional. They understand social distancing and there customers safety is there number one priority.

Neat, clean and new and never busy when I go. Love the recliner seats and this is the reason I come here. Most of the arcade games are good. Concessions are normal. Screen, sound and seating are great! So much space, where no one is in your personal space or kicking your seat. On my last visit I got 2 poutines. The fries were stiff and stale. Took it back at the beginning of my movie, missed about 5 min. They were nice enough to replace the poutines, however it was the same just hot. I just ate it as we were hungry.

The staff are wo nice very clean especially the bathroom was very cleaned it's a great place to go for a movie and popcorn you can take you whole family out and have such a good time

Nicely upgraded experience in Pickering. Well deserved and needed update to the Cineplex cinema. Fingers cross that ajax get the same treatment. Highly recommended this theatre.

It's a nice theater but pricier than other local theaters. Seats are very roomy and most recline. Theater is generally clean. It's usually very busy on weekends.

Comfortable seats, good theater, quite tasty food - unfortunately, though the food is delicious, it's too dark to properly eat. I had the burger which was quite messy which posed a problem as I couldnt see my hands well enough to wipe them down confidently. All that said, the experience does not warrant the cost. Go have a nice dinner and then go to a regular theater with comfortable leather seats.

Kids movie in their clubhouse has a showtime of 940.20 minutes later movie still hasn't started.

Started nearly 25 minutes after the show time. For a kids movie. At night. In their kids theatre.

Traditional floor style sitting. Went cause all other theatre all sold out. Not bad. Old school feel.

No lines and the theatre was practically empty for the release of a new movie (opening night). However the seats don't recline, and aren't the standard Stadium style.

Have been going to this theatre for 20+ years. Sad how loss of business is due to high competition in Whitby. Great theatre, less wise-ass staff needed, but enjoy watching my movies here.

Theatre seems to attract annoying people who talk and laugh during the films, happens every time.

Small theater. Can hear soo much noise from the hall and arcade from inside the theater. The coke zero tasted like soda water.they dont sell the upgraded cup sizes with the toys on top and they have limited beverage flavours. Unlike the other cineplex's which have the custom beverage dispensers, this place was lacking with snacks and beverages. The air ventillation was on and the theater was freezing. Seat cup holders dont move back. Overall an uncomfortable experience.

The place needs updates and basic maintenance. I got really great service at the (small) food booth, but that was about it: theater #8 had a dirty, wrinkled screen and awful unbalanced sound, with audible distortion during explosions and muffled dialogs.
