Cineplex Cinemas Scarborough

I went there to watch an Indian movie and we bought a large drink but when we went to the freestyle machines, they all had more water and less portion of the drink. All the drinks were too watery. Moreover, when we complained about it to a staff member, he was very rude with us and didn't even try to help. All of the cineplex give water cup for a water and when I asked for he, he clearly denied. Completely rude and arrogant behavior with the guest. I will never recommend anyone to visit this one.

Cineplex really going downhill, maybe they are facing bankruptcy. The seats were terrible, the movie just came out a week ago and somehow they think they can charge members a full ticket price for a smaller crammed theatre. The theatre we were in literally felt like it was chopped in half lol. Maybe they think it’s a rental in Toronto where you just make a 1 bedroom apartment into 2

You should be able to have the best seating and viewing experience. Especially considering all the popcorn and drinks and snacks cost an arm and a leg. I understand why people sneak in their own snacks. These guys are dropping the ball heavy. I can see them closing locations down if they continue to being mediocre and not with the times. The employees I don’t blame but I’ve been to multiple locations and they all seem not happy to be working for Cineplex. How is it you’ve been around for decades and haven’t provided a better movie experience for customers and employees, is beyond me.

The best part about this location is the free parking.

I was able to watch an amazing movie there. I'm sure the others enjoyed too. But there were so many people moving here and there. They should have people to administer folks in the cinema. Even some kid was crying all the time and the boys sitting right to me kept on talking. The overall experience was great.

A lot of work must go into keeping this place running. It has been one of the cornerstones of STC. Hopefully you have Scene points saved up because the movies (just like everything else these days) are super expensive.

As always its a classic Cinematic experience here.

The sitting wasn't very great and the washrooms were super dirty need to be clean more often for a customers

Went to see a movie which I original thought was rated R. Turns out it was rated pg even though it had swearing and adult content. Choose a seat and ended up with children I’m guessing under 12 taking ; giggling though out the movie. Even had the grown ups chatting and kicking the back of my seat. What a waste of my money. I went today as I thought Tuesdays were cheaper. Also I definitely wasn’t expecting loud children sitting behind me. It was a large noisy family. Very disrespectful behaviour.

The best Cineplex location I've been to, the theatres are large and the seats are nice, booking a ticket at the location was a breeze and so was getting food and drink. Made for a great night with family!

This is the Cinema I always went to as a kid. I still do today, but my little brother is 3 and me and my older brothers were like 12 I think. But he had to 10.00$ as well? I dont agree with the pricing cuz he prob wont even remember the movie soo. In total we all paid the same amount 70 bucks? There wasnt much people there soo its still over all my favourite Cinema

Best Chinese around! Every food option is prepared and presently wonderfully. Staff is also exceptional. Always excited for another visit. Thank you guys!

Sat 1 row behind DBOX seats and felt the obnoxious effects still. The seats weren't designed very well as I could feel people in the row behind me kicking my seat. The guy in the row in front leaned back and unintentionally hit my legs. There's not enough space for these chairs to leaning back as much as they do. The movie was great but let's just get back to the simplicity of good seats with space and no artificial earthquake rumbling please.

Cineplex Scarborough is my go to Theatre. About 12 screens. Which is great compared to some other cinemas. AVX is a plus for me. Lots of foods and games to pass the time while you wait for a movie. And it's attached to the mall. So you can roam around and just chill.

Nice theatre with tons of parking, easy to go in and out of the lot since its attached to the mall just off he 401.

Be prepared to empty your bank account when going to the movies
The food is really terrible and over priced plus even the water is costly. Not really sure how people can afford to go as often as they do
The theatres are cramped and the main lobby is dark not really a place to spend time at before or after the movie

Loved it, watching the movie in 3D Great Sound and comfortable seating, just the popcorn in the hot dog were a bit too pricey

It's more of a kids zone than an adult zone. I searched for a beer to drink with my movie and couldn't find one anywhere lol

The movie theater is so nice and good enough of space. The place is clean and the screen and sounds are great. The movie Dumbo is very good everyone should go and watch.

Even on half price tuesdays, this theatre is the go to. Always clean, & never overwhelmingly busy. A must for date night! Very friendly staff!

Has a nice arcade section for kids an interactive game wall self serve drink station so no lining up for refills. Parking can be a bit difficult on weekends

I've got nothing wrong to say about this place.

They have a huge parking space, Customer service is great, clean washrooms and they have all the regular movie munchies ;)

To make things better the play arena got some good games to play with you want to kill some time before getting into the movies.

Great choice to watch a movie in Scarborough, compared to the other smaller theaters. Still leaves allot to be desired. Safe to say a nice renovation could improve the overall experience. But best availble east of GTA.

I cannot believe how dirty the washrooms were (both men and women) I understand it's busy there with lots of traffic but it was disgusting. I hadn't been to this theater for over 2 years and I will never go back again.

I've been to this cinema several times and i didn't like it very much because the salon was overcrowded and it was hot, stuffed and they dont give break during the movie, today the movie lasted almost 3 hours and i wanted to go to the washroom felt so uncomfortable couldn't wait when the movie finish. They should give 5 minutes break at least because people want to relieve themselves.

Crowded full of teenagers do not recommend. Service is fine but not the greatest if u want to enjoy a movie.

Seats aren't as comfortable as the seats at the VIP, but alright if you don't want resevered seats. We had our chairs all the way back and some kids came behind us and kicked the back of our seats the entire way through the movie.

I think that the majority of Cineplex cinemas can lower the volume a few notches down to protect everyone's hearing. The prices for food items are quite pricey.

One of the most busiest Ceneplex theatre in town. Super hero fans like this place for its amazing interior and architectural design. There is a nice arcade section for kids to play games and hangout. Big place to spend some quality time with family or loved ones. Parking availability is really tight in weekends! Tuesday is a better option to watch movies in discounted price.

I used to avidly watch movies in theatres until the chairs have been "upgraded" and lean back automatically due to my upper body weight. My girlfriend is too small to push her chair back and I can't comfortably sit as the chair leans all the way back and constantly gets kicked by people behind me. I used to see a movie once a week and now I see none because of these chairs. Also the high cost of food and drink is absolutely ridiculous.

After going to Land Mark the past year, I can't go back to Cineplex. Came here last Tuesday out of desperation, I couldn't believe how uncomfortable the seats were.

The staff are friendly and the amount of movies you can see are great. The seats are comfy though I’ve sat in some that are completely broken. The issue are the people constantly talking, using their phones, or snoring. I go to a variety of Cineplex theatres around the GTA and this is the only one where people do this constantly. There need to be workers inside the theatre that tell people to stop because it’s become a real problem at this particular theatre.

The popcorn and coke very expensive $20 for 1 reg popcorn and two reg pop. The movie also expensive 2 tickets $28.also 5 min into movie screen went blank with sound only no picture took them 20 minutes to fix the issue.not impressed will never go back

Do people in Scarborough know it's rude to talk during a movie? They also don't seem to know "shhhh" or "Dude, can you guys be quite". Means keep quiet.

Saw Mary Poppin's Returns movie! Wonderful movie; fantastic theatre with extremely comfortable seats
