Cineplex Cinemas Winston Churchill & VIP

Friendly staff, nice theatre. My only complaint was finding the entrance. There are a lot of double glass doors around the building that resembled normal entrances until you get up close to see it's an exit only. Other Cineplex cinemas have normal blue doors that immediately scream exit only. So I had to walk in the cold around the whole building from parking behind the theatre because the double glass doors tricked me.

I came here and went to the VIP services before I went to the movie, A staff named Darius welcomed and escorted me to a table. He was very nice and welcoming.

I went for VIP movies, good customer service, there is a bar to hangout while you wait, it has more comfortable seats than regular, you get served from the comfort of your seat, and a lot of options for drinks and food in the menu.

One of our go-to cinemas with the IMAX experience. Plenty of parking in the front, side, and rear of the cinema with food venues within the same plaza.

Been going here for years, never disappointed. Staff is friendly & courteous, and free pop refills if you like.

Great theatre. I always choose VIP. The VIP team is always pleasant. The lady who checks your ticket going into VIP has such a bubbly personality. The only thing I can say that this theatre can work on is the drink machine area. It is always a mess. Sticky floors. Machines can be empty of some flavors. This is not looked after well.

I remember when this opened was so ahead of its time.

It's not that anymore. But in these times it gets high marks for being clean and open with some flicks.

First time in a cinema since Covid. Great to be able to get back to some normality. Looked clean and felt safe.

Except for the lady ticket taker during the week the staff seem like they are being inconvenienced when the customer is handing over their money. Certainly the staff could benefit with some polite customer service education.

Dissapointed. My family and I drove out from Brantford to see "a Star is Born" since it was the only theatre still playing it other than in Toronto (Dec 21). We were in theatre #7 and all we could hear was Christmas music/muffling throughout the ENTIRE movie. Here I thought it was another movie/theatre beside us, only to find out it was the radio playing in the hallway. I received 1 free movie ticket even though I had bought 3. Ridiculous if you ask me. Won't be going back to this theatre anytime soon

Pretty standard theater same as all other Cineplex theater that I have been too. If u have scenes point card then do ur self and a friend a favour get Cineplex night out package everytime u want to use ur point card. This package gives u 2 tickets 2 drinks and a popcorn all for 2500 point (for regular movie ticket). You get 2 drinks and a popcorn just for 500 points.

Our movie theatre was still dirty 20 minutes before it started. People came in to clean 15 minutes before show time and we could hear them complaining.it was disgusting and unpleasant.

I have been coming to this theater for years and have no major complaints personally. Today I came with a group of my friends who have a various range of disabilities. My brother is visually impaired and requires help in the washroom and being a female and him being a 26 year old male I cannot bring him into the women’s washroom.that being said Cineplex Winston Churchill doesn’t have a single accessible washroom. This is a major inconvenience for any individual that requires assistance in the washroom. I think with the massive space that Cineplex has that a couple accessible washrooms would be their first thought? Especially in 2018? ! I am pleased with the service but upset by the accessibility.

This is the best theatre that I have ever been to. It has an excellent selection of movies, accessible parking and pick up locations and a great selection of food options near by. It has imax selections and is usually not too busy. Would recommend it for dinner and a movie with friends or family.

It's okay, just like others. Have plenty of self serve kiosks. The only thing I hate about this cineplex is how hard it is to find the parking and how much one has to walk after parking the car. Plus is they have really good restaurants nearby and comes in handy to grab a bite after movies:)

I've been going to this Theatre location for years. It's a fantastic Theatre. Always very clean.

Unfortunately the reason it gets a 3 is because the layout is very annoying. There is never parking and when you do find parking it is a very long walk to the front door of the theater. That can be really tough in the winter.

Also one time I got a poutine and it had a lot of hair in it. It was very gross. But they resolved the issue.

Some classes are that they have the automated drink dispensers and they also serve beer now too.

Movie itself was great. The cost to go for 2 adults and 2 small children was insane. Almost $60 just for the tickets. Then another $52 for basic theatre snacks. Then they wanted and extra fee to put butter on the popcorn. Didn't that used to be free? By the time we were done it was close to $120 to go see a movie. Absolutely ridiculous. I will never go there again. I prefer the smaller theatre near our home. Prices are far more reasonable and the atmosphere is more appealing. One last thing, I get that young ppl need to work and gain valuable work experience for the real world. But how about teaching them to have better ppl skills. Maybe not look at you like you are a complete idiot for asking a simple question.

Expensive. Will usually cost you double or more what it'd cost at film.ca.the premises are usually clean, apart from the soda machines which are always filthy.

One of the worst IMAX experience I ever had. Seems like they tried to cram to many seats in one cinema. The cinema itself was disgusting and looked like it was not cleaned since the cinema opened. Some staff needs to be trained better in customer service and learn the product they are selling. Awful experience!

The staff is nice and the place is clean but the theater I saw the MHA film in had subpar bass sound. All the low end sound was muffled and muted. Kind of hurts a movie when it's an action movie about superheroes fighting and blowing things up.

This a huge theatre with tons of showtimes throughout the day and they typically show limited releases that Cineplex theatres closer to me don't. Lots of food options and things to do in the plaza. Always a good experience and worth the further drive!

It's huge and has the second widest and diverse release schedule in the GTA following only the downtown specialty theaters like TIFF Lightbox and the Scotiabank theatre. Entertainment options in the plaza are decent but expensive and feels alive with a relatively young crowd depending on the day and time. Lacking the hometown feel of a smaller theatre, but sometimes that's not what you want. IMAX, Dbox, and special showing and events abound. This is a night out and not just a simple trip to the movies. Choose wisely, there are cheaper and quieter, more intimate options well within driving distance that might help you enjoy going to the actual movie more.

A nice and well organized movie theatre. Unfortunately, the entrance was a little difficult to find as it's not facing any parking lots, which led to some confusion. Additionally, I tried to call ahead to ask about subtitles for a foreign film I was planning to see, and their call options didn't allow me to speak with anyone directly. I had to contact Cineplex through social media to ask about it, which was frustrating.

Always been my favourite Cinema without question. Plus it has more theatres then Square One so it has plenty of rare screenings. Lots of anime movies!

Great theatre with many screens. One draw back is the parking is quite far so for those that are older and for all in the winter it's a bit of a cold windy walk.

This is an old Cineplex. Some of the theatre sizes are small. Side cup holders were broken or bent. Overall good service. Ample parking space. And a wide variety of eateries nearby. During busy times, it will take a while before you can get a parking
