Cineplex Cinemas Yonge-Eglinton and VIP

Don’t order food from outtakes…. Takes forever and if your an attractive coworker you get your food before other people who order…. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and a few minutes later a person who works there ordered the same, the person who was making the sandwiches had to stop and flirt with him and then give him the first pulled pork sandwich while I waited and missed the start of my movie…. And the parking validation machine never works!

My girlfriend used to work in the food & beverage area. One day she accidentally dropped a hot dog sausage on the floor, so she threw it away and replaced it with a new one (as she should). A coworker saw it and told her off, I don't know what else happened but the manager later (falsely) accused her of stealing that sausage and fired her because of it. Despite explaining how she was innocent, the manager refused to listen.

Cineplex might look like a nice modern place for movies, but it is an unethical employer behind the scenes. The management ought to be ashamed of themselves.

I was their customer once, but I will stay away from now on.

It's ever "Tuesday Half Price"! Just bring your 'Scene Card' or 'Scene App'.

It's clean and not as chaotic as the yonge and Dundas one. I would go to this one if you want a more relaxed vibe.

I went to go see “A Haunting In Venice” at 10: 30 pm. I tried to book online but it was not working. Once I arrived I got my ticket for the VIP recliner experience for $27.11 CAD. I went to concessions and I was told that the person at the theater would take my order. That didn’t happen and they just stood around talking to each other. I left back out the theater to go back to concessions. All I wanted was a water. I paid $4.95 for a 591 ml Smart Water. I returned to the movie to see it had begun. A person proceeded to take photos of the screen. The flash was pretty bright. Overall the movie I picked was good. However, I don’t know if the money spent was worth the experience.

Staff are always friendly and the theater is always super clean. The food is delicious and there is a pretty good assortment of treats to pick from.

This review is for the VIP section, Awesome experience, especially the bar and food menu served at your seats. Excellent hospitality and cleanliness of the entire facility, Free Parking available at this location. Perfect spot nearby for a VIP experience with full recliner seats

Great theater. There are lots of stores totally accessible. But Eglinton avew and young is a mess.

Just love the theatre in there with the recliners the beer the food and of course the service you get before the movie even starts

This is my favorite theater. Great service and facilities. Convenient location regardless of how you choose to get to the venue. Right on the Yonge subway line as well as the Eglinton LRT. Parking on site and you get a discount from 25% to 50% when you watch a movie depending on the day of the week. To me the best VIP theater setup out of the many GTA locations. The electric recliner seats are a nice touch!

Accessible theatre right at Yonge and Eglinton. My personal favorite is the VIP movie experience with the most comfortable big chairs imaginable and food and drink seat service. Enjoy a drink in the VIP lounge also (19+).

Really liked the experience and the person who deserves special mention is ANN, we bought snacks for the movie and she served us by wearing a cute chirpy smile on her face, her customer service was excellent. Would love to visit again.

The movies are great, but their management of the arcade is beneath poor! My son loves the arcade, so we have loads of the coins from previous visits. I took a bag of coins to let him play there today as he wasn't up for a movie. I was sorely disappointed that they changed the method of payment and had no recourse or exchange at the point of sale. We couldn't use it, and the attendants couldn't help. I bought the loaded card for him so he won't be disappointed. I hope this can be rectified.

Great place, photo booth for too expensive, and the claw machines, claw was broken.

Also, there was windows and only 2 were open at the consessions

I love Yonge and Dundas Cineplex as it is at the core downtown. This is my second best to come and watch movies for. It is smaller than Odeon Eglinton but it is clean and staff is professional. Not many ticket sellers available so it is best to buy online before you come. Used to have a cool gaming centre but quite a few games doesn't work anymore. The gaming arcade at Odeon Eglinton is still the best.

We attended the VIP on Thursday to watch Spider-Man. Jessica went above and beyond with customer service skills. Great staff and I will constantly recommend this as the theatre to go to.

Nice movie theatre. Definitely the best VIP theatre in the city. The seats are very comfortable and actually have a full recline. I actually trek from the other end of the city just to see VIP movies here. It puts the Yonge-Dundas one to shame.

Would definitely recommend shelling out the extra bucks to see that movie you’re excited about at the VIP here!

Been here for DBOX Show, Seats are not that comfortable though they were able to provide good experience. Sound was too low which ruined the entire movie experience.

I can honestly say it was the best movie-going experience I've ever had. The theater was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable seating that made for a luxurious experience.

What really set this cinema apart, however, were the amenities. The VIP lounge was well-stocked with delicious food and drinks, including a full bar, popcorn, and other snacks. The menu was varied, with options for every taste and preference. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure that we had everything we needed throughout the movie. Movie theatre is just fine but there's nowhere to park, go anywhere else if you're driving

Yonge and Eglinton Cineplex is at prime and best location. The quality of speakers and room temp control is meeting expectations and great. Seating quality is not up to the mark and I see there is room for improvement

Guy asleep in the cinema snoring so loud we could hear him over the movie! Was never woken up by staff or anything.

The theater experience is the typical affair. Went here to watch the 3D version of Super Mario movie a month+ after it initially released on a Saturday weekend around 3 or 4 PM. Very few patrons for some reason. Typical small screen considering the time since release and for 3D. Do not drive here! Parking downstairs is 50% off but still costed $20+ for the 2 hours I was there, and you still need to find the obscure entrance if you haven't been here before. Has VIP option if you want a premium experience. Go somewhere else if you have a car to get here; fine if you don't need to drive here. I suppose it's good if you don't like a crowded theater.

These movies are always fun. The arm rests go up so you can cuddle with your neighbor. The chairs lean back so sitting up close doesn't hurt your neck. Make sure you buy your tickets on the main floor because there's no ticket box when you go up the stairs.
