Cineplex Odeon Clarington Place Cinemas

Other than the price of movies and the concession stand it's good. Clean staff are friendly but going to movies is becoming a luxury and unaffordable.

Nice facility for watching movies on the big screen.

Be warned, concession stand prices are astronomically unrealistic ($22.00+ dollars for a fountain drink and a bag of popcorn!? ! Really?). Hence the two star rating (I'd have rated it higher were the concession stand prices not so ridiculous).

Otherwise a good place to have an evening out with the kids.

Seats weren't clean. #1 We sat on pop soaked cushions.
Also, #2 I had left to talk on my phone outside while my children 12 and 11 were inside watching the movie. 2 min later I went to get back inside, all the door were locked at 8pm? I was panicking! Banging on the door, calling the theater, left a message. 15min later a gentleman who was going to the bathroom, pointed to am employee that I was banging to get in.

Great first time back Friday night. Staff was super attentive, theatres were clean and concession was speedy and food was delicious. Happy to be bqck!

Small theatres, but nice and clean. Not as busy as the ones closer to Toronto, so that's a plus.

Absolutely fantastic job with reopening. Employees are friendly as always and obviously very well trained on the new procedures. Tickets are pre-booked and there is a huge amount of space between each party. Well done - thank you for a fun evening and a little taste of normal!

Clean and confortable! Wish they would leave the snack counter open during the entire movie but i guess that's the way they do it here.

Decent theatre. The recliner chairs are a nice addition. One bad thing would be the arcade.the games are dated and one sucked up a bunch of tokens without working (weak sauce).

Theaters are a little on the smaller side, and the incline slope can make seeing over the person in front of you difficult at times. I noticed couple of the recliner seats are broken now as well. It's Cineplex so the movie tickets are a good price, but be prepared to pay a lot for a popcorn and drink.

A great family friendly place good parking, easy access and wonderful seats for viewing the shows.

Small theatres with reserved seating. Seats in the front row are way too close to the screen, you're looking directly upwards.

It's ok. Needs to be renovated and made larger to accommodate the growing community with much bigger screens.

Went in to purchase Reserved Seating for Downton Abbey and had the nicest young man serve me. Shout out to Coulson Looking forward to seeing the movie; l may look for Coulson

Comfy reclining seats in every theater. Really easy to order tickets ahead of time and avoid the hassle at the theater. Only down side is that the kids shows are not really at convenient times. 750pm is never good for young kids as you're done way too late.

This is the best theater around! The staff is always so helpful and excited! The young lady who cashed me out was especially lovely. Great job guys!

Way behind the times. Got the tickets thru CAA which is a positive. The theatre suffers from old seating and a small screen. Landmark is the gold standard in region. Coneplex needs to refurb this place.

Saw IT 2.not quite sure why tho and movie cut out mid play screen went black. Thinkin they were doin us a favor once the movie finally finished.

It was just like any basic movie theater the other Cineplex I have been to like oshawa are definitely better that this cineples

Ill give ya 4. Reclining chairs are nice. You guys serve beer now too thats actually pretty hilarious. Minus 1 star because of the cost of everything in there.

The nachos weren't great! The chips were stale. We tried to take them back and get fresh ones and they claimed they were made that day and the recipe changed and they are all like that. Not impressed.

I love goin with the family, we get out of the house, watch a movie together and enjoy our time. Theres reclining seats which h is great.

It's a pretty nice theatre. The seats that recline seemed to be pretty comfortable. I did find it to be louder than necessary but not a big deal. The washrooms facilities could definitely use an upgrade however. They gave me the feeling of an 80's era hospital. All in all it's a pretty standard movie theatre with the over priced concessions and all.

Nice neighbourhood theater. It looked like they had added to it since I was last there over 20 years ago.

The theater itself is small, but I think they have done well with up grading the games room, changing the chairs to recliner and also selling beer - Even though the beer is rediculiously overpriced.but that's just the franchise.

Smaller theatre, but they tend to run projector at full brightness - unlike most other Cineplex locations.

Our go to movie theatre and we live in Port Hope. Almost all of the staff are young people who are personable and polite. Prices are usually outrageous as all theatres are but that's the fault of the corporation. The place is very clean considering theatres don't generally have a good track record of cleanliness. Bathrooms are clean too! There's a small arcade, 3D viewings, and fairly comfortable recliners. My bottom wasn't even sore after the Avengers End Game movie. Scene points are used here and the kiosks are very convenient but not as convenient as the online app.

I love this theater. Recliner chairs are so comfortable and theatre sizes are smaller and make for better, more intimate movie going experience.

Watched Missing Link with the kids last weekend. Empty theater, it was a great night out with the kids

Took the kids to see Aladdin.the whole family had a great time. The snack bar is overpriced but those reclining chairs make it well worth it. Gone are the times of movie theaters not being as comfortable as home!

Went for a late night show and wanted to leave before the movie started. The theatre looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while, there was garbage on the floor and in the cup holders, popcorn in the recliner seats and pop spilt on most of the seats. When the movie started after 15 minutes of commercials the projector was wasn’t sized up with the screen properly with the ends overhanging the screen.

Theatre seats are improved but keep in mind they don't refill your drinks which is a joke since they charge a lot for them.

Dirty, dirty, dirty. Thursday at 1: 10 our theater had not been cleaned. Popcorn on the seats, floor dirty. Very disappointed.

Great place to watch a new movie, excellent seating, good staff, never crazy busy, good parking and a couple restaurants nearby if your early.location is good, cleanliness is decent and sound is fantastic - recommend!

Not sure I like the newest version of tickets. I didn't mind booking seats and getting my electronic ticket before and you would scan at machine. Now you get the Usher to scan and it didn't work that we'll. I get saving paper but needs some work

Relatively small theatre with single level seating, but definitely a lot more comfortable now that they upgraded to the recliner seats!

Love this theatre. Small and intimate environment with relaxing reclining seats. (I don’t have to let people in or out as there is room to walk around my seat)
