Cineplex Odeon Gardiners Road Cinemas

My son loved the arcade games before the movie and he absolutely loved the 3d movie in a recliner chair! That was a first for my wife and I to go to this Cineplex and definitely the first time we went to a Cineplex that had reclining chairs! Very comfortable, nice environment, nice staff and good popcorn! A must visit for any movie nights for kids or adults or both!

Lovely movie theatre with a great selection of movies. I wish the location aired the special event movies like 20th Lord of the Rings Anniversary showing or the Star Wars ones as I never had the chance to view those in theaters.
The food is quite pricey, and the "free digital rentals" offered with combos isn't worth it as the selection of movies you can use that on is very limited. It's better to just bring water and grab a popcorn and save the money.

Just watched the Mario Movie. Mamma Mia it was great! A fun filled evening with the whole family.

It's going downhill the chairs aren't maintained but the food is good there they could improve their staff to have all respectful staff and lose the rude and disrespectful girl that works there

My go to theatre when I can actually afford to go see a movie, the prices are outragous so I would recommend bringing in your own snacks and bevereges. I do like how they added the recliner seats and have their scene points system, unlike the landmark theatre.

I am posting here because you have chosen not to allow people to post reviews on Facebook.and I can see why.
My wife and I received a gift card and attempted to use it over the holidays to see the Mule. We booked our seats online. When we arrived we were told that we cannot see our movie because there was no heat in the theatre. We were given paper gift certificates and told to try another time. We just tried to go and see cold pursuit and the kiosk kept telling us that the numbers were not valid. We waited for a human to arrive and try a few more times. Eventually we went to the ticket taker and were advised that we had to go to the concession stand instead. Once served, we were told the movie was sold out, although it showed available seats at the kiosk.

Once again we have returned home.

You would think that the kiosk would be able to accept what we were given in place of our gift card or at least be told at the kiosk to go to the concession stand, let alone have one human at ticket sales to assist.

If you guys cannot have your kiosks accept what you guys hand out then have a person there to process them instead of wasting our time just to have to return home, again.

Not at all happy or impressed at this point with Cinaplex Odeon, my husband and I drove across town in the Winter to see the movie "The Mule" and when we arrived we were told the movie was not playing due to heating issues in the theater.
Tonight we arrive February 16th to see the movie "Cold Pursuit" and the ticket kiosk wouldn't accept our passes and by the time we found someone to assist the movie was sold out.
So in the end no movie for the 2nd time, gas wasted, time wasted, no apology and all this while I have a foot injury.
Not sure I will return and would not reccomend to others.

Love this place! The kids really get a kick out of the gaming area and the seats are fantastic. One little "beef" would be the pre-bagged popcorn. I really like fresh popcorn.

I hate the prices.we rarely go to the movies.only cheap night and if we have scene points.landmark is my preferred theatre, usually cleaner and not as busy.

Alright food, dirty floors and incompetent staff that don't pay attention to the customer or fulfill orders properly. Save you money and wait for the movie to come out on DVD or Netflix.

Love the full recliner seats here, I wont see a movie any other way and there are several screens with these seats now. Tues the movies are $6.75 and there is hardly a soul, best night to go for sure. Clean theatre, cool games.

Went to see Into the Spiderverse on Family Day, great experience. It was super busy, but completely expected for a public holiday. Glad we arrived early so we were able to get snacks before the movie. Theatre was great, love the chairs!

Never had a single problem here.service is great.never found the place to be overly messy which is impressive when upkeep at theatres can be difficult:)

This is my go to theatre. I've been going here for years and I've only ever had one bad experience. Cheap Tuesday shows in the afternoon are the perfect time if you don't like big crowds of people. I also enjoy the reserved seating/ recliner chairs they now have in all their theatres.

Declining seats baby! If there’s something this movie theatre does well it’s their seating. Picture this: it’s been a long day, your boss has been giving you heck at work and all you want to do is ~relax~. All of sudden you think hmmmm, a movie could be nice? Close that Netflix tab and get in your car because it’s time to go to CINEPLEX ODEN ON GARDINERS ROAD. I recommend getting strawberry raspberry fro yo and a small popcorn. Yum!

A bit irritated as I pre-bought tickets that were smack in the middle of the theatre.turns out they moved us to a bigger theatre. We retained our seat numbers, but they were now no longer in the centre of anything, but off to the side.

Also, usual complaints - really, REALLY expensive snacks - but you knew that.

Big plus for playing a unique movie that most cities wouldn't bother playing.

Now that they keep the lights on during the whole movie I give this place a big 1 star! Found it very hard to enjoy the movie when I cant even see the damn picture very well due to the lights being on! Do yourself a favor and dont waste your money here.

Love this theatre, I come here roughly once per month to see a new release, and typically treat myself to popcorn and a drink while I'm out. While I wont deny prices have risen heavily over the years, nothing can beat movie theatre popcorn and the recliner experience!
