Great team of Drs and reception. When you get sick or need an appointment, you book online and get the help you need. They also have same day appointments. Pharmacy is right there for your prescriptions and they deliver to your house for refills. Drs here are polite and knowledgeable. Your appointment time is when they see you. In and out. Perfect for the working mom.

I had an appointment time for my flu shot but when I walked into the clinic it was full of people waiting so I figured things would take a while. Out came Dr. Sheth with her scrubs on and her pockets filled with flu shot needles. She came out like a super hero and with a smile said something to the effect of, "We're gonna get all of you done fast! Get your arms ready and let's get this done" That's exactly what she did - most efficient way I've ever seen flu shots done and she served everyone quickly and kindly. So impressed with this doctor! Huge thanks, Dr. Sheth!

I have nothing but great experiences with the clinic! My own Dr Lal is amazing as have been the others. If you can get in, it is worth it. Also, the pharmacy folks are great too.

I cannot express how happy I am with my family physician. I never wait, I get seen at my exact appointment time, my concerns are always addressed in a timely manner. Reception staff are pleasant and friendly. Nursing staff are also friendly and kind. Tech is on point with this day and ages, online booking and reminders are perfect.

Bad management- owner has zero integrity and treats staff and patients horribly - it smells horrible inside- and very very dirty.they mess up your appt times when dr isn’t even there and overbook- avoid this place if you can.

I had burning pain in my hand after doing some outdoor Labor. I ended up having minor nerve damage in my hand. The doctor took the time to explain what was happening and that it takes time for the body to repair nerve damage, gave me a prescription for the pain. I loved being able to get the meds right there in the clinic with a really nice pharmacy in the office! The staff were friendly the office is clean, great experience.

My first interaction with the doctor was fine I had a pap done and she was great, I was happy I had finally found a doctor that met my needs. I have since asked my 4 different referrals that have led to nothing. I also find that everytime I need an appointment for urgent issues there isn’t one available. How can there be appointments allotted daily but they’re full by 10am everyday. I can’t foresee that I’ll need urgent care 7 days in advance. I wish they would hire more doctors so we feel like we’re actually getting taken care of

I am writing this because i do not know What kind of priority they put you on. Doctor kept me waiting for more than 40 minutes from my appointment time and there was no one to keep me updated. Also it take 2 or more months to book an appointment with them. And that is not the type of service i expect. What if i am seriously ill and need medical attention they gonna keep me hanging? Not recommended.

This review is long overdue. My family and I have been patients at Citrus for a few years now and this is a special note of appreciation for Dr Sheth and her team of Family Physicians (Dr. R. Lall/ Dr. C. Anthony /Dr. S. Kassam /Dr. L. Briggs and all the others), the nurses (especially Margaret/ Trupthi and all other nurses) for their tireless efforts at providing the best care for their patients. A special note of thanks to the admin staff at the front desk who always try their best & accommodate my requests (evening or after hour appts, an urgent request or a quick communication with the physician when reqd. /call backs). Having a Chiropractor, Naturopath, Dietician & the pharmacy (really appreciate the convenience!) makes it even better. Access & being able to communicate or receive notes/get advise frm my doctor via email quickly or when an appt.is squeezed in (when doable) to accommodate my request makes a huge difference and saves time for me.and thank you Dr. Sheth for the flexibility and timely care you have constantly provided me and my family. Look forward to being cared for by You & your dedicated team and wishing everyone at Citrus the very best!

I switched from my previous family doctor to Dr Lall at Citrus Medical. And I’m pretty happy that I did. He and the center’s staff are super nice and attentive. Dr Lall really takes his time to sit down and explain things to me thoroughly and in professional manners. I’ve been seeing him back and forth in a few recent months. And I feel safe and cared for every time. Kudos to Dr Lall and the team!

All workers are always very kind and make me comfortable. I especially praised my family doctor, Dr Sherry Liu. She has understood a lot with my pain and given me appropriate prescriptions according to my condition changes.she helped ease my severe pain with a number of tips.you are a wonderful doctor. I am writing this review since constructive criticism and communication with this clinic is impossible. I started attending this clinic when it first opened and had a wonderful doctor. She very unfortunately had to move. I was placed with a new doctor, one that I didn't choose myself and basically have no relationship with, which is not ideal for good medicine.
Once the original staff of this clinic left, the reception failed miserably. Documents were not sent, referrals were not made. It was a constant struggle. I've hung in through these downfalls but when the pandemic hit, granted it is understandable that everything went online etc, but this is no excuse to not answer phones, have some bedside manner. I had issues on multiple occasions using the online booking and I simply would like to speak to a person to book an appointment due to my very limited schedule. It's easier than going back and forth in emails to figure out a time.
This time was absolutely my last straw. I had a very sick special needs child that is a patient and tried to get a walk in appointment. I tried to book online and it was booking me according to the specific family doctor, the next day. I needed acute care. When trying to call all day, just an answering machine! I left a message. The call was returned 2 days later, after I had taken the child to ER.
Now we wonder why ER is getting bombarded with cases that shouldn't be there! This is why.
When speaking to the individual that finally called from this clinic I was upset. No I wasn't yelling but I did say very sternly my concerns and that this is a despicable way to treat clients and patients and that management should be notified. Of course I got hung up on. I know the difficulties faced in the medical field right now because I work in it, but let me tell you something. I would not sleep easily at night treating clients and patients in this manner.

What could have happened better:
Have a human dealing with humans.answer the phone. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for elderly that don't know how to use the internet to get help from you.
If you are short staffed and cannot perform acute walk in service, identify this either on your phone message or your website.preferably with alternatives that are not the hospital.
Train staff on how to deal with an upset client (yes, hanging up when someone is swearing or personally attacking you is warranted). But when someone is telling you their concerns about the functioning of your service, it should be directed to management. A good management listens to concerns to try to improve service. By the way, regardless of if we pay up front or through our taxes, this is still a service and we are still clients. I have a designated clinic for myself and my children so that I am not burdening the system, but if as a patient, there is no way to get care when you really need it, what's the point?

I hope this can shed light to the management of the struggles of your patients and that changes can be made.

I should have read the reviews before booking with citrus. I waited weeks to get my phone appointment. The Dr did not call on time and I missed it. When I called back 4 minutes later I was caller number 7. I waited on hold for over 10 minutes to be told I have to rebook and they only had spots available in a month.

I am a new patient there & all my information is there incl. My prescriptions. The office & pharmacy told me to make a Dr call Appt. In order to get refills on meds I have been on for yrs? I have to wait over 2 weeks to get an inhaler? ! My meds are all critical & should be refilled seamlessly. Instead I have to wait until I talk to my Dr. 14 days later? ! Not happy.

The 1st time was ok with Dr Grey as she listens to her patient. 2nd time I came on a Saturday at their opening. We were only 2 patients but the doctor who greeted me was still in a hurry for no apparent reason, and most of all she was not listening. At the end of the 5 minute meeting she gave random prescriptions I did not take.

Unprofessional. I tried enrolling and my file got stuck in their own procedural errors and office politics with no redress or communication after nearly a month of follow ups.

The online appointment booking tool works though.

I’ve had a great experience so far with Dr. Caners (1 phone appointment and 2 in-person appointments). I think he is new/young in his career but so far he has been very helpful, knowledgeable, patient and compassionate in his care. I feel that I can trust him. This is a stark contrast to how I was treated by my previous family doctor. It is refreshing; I feel relieved and I hope the years don’t take away the compassion he has for his patients. Thank you Dr. Caners!

Doctors are fine, but working with the front staff is an absolute nightmare. It shouldn't be this hard to get a hold of your Doctor, whether via email or phone (if you can ever get through). Took a week (!) to respond on a request for appointment and By the time they finally email you back you have to wait another 1.5-2 weeks for an appointment. They are not helpful, and not kind.

They expect you to have and do everything by internet now. If you try calling its GUARANTEED you will be on hold at LEAST 20-30mins (with the same strange song over and over that has heavy breathing on repeat).

It took 2 weeks to receive a reply regarding a request for a prescription transfer after countless follow-ups. A simple, ‘thanks for your email, your request has been forwarded to the pharmacy, please contact them directly’ would suffice. I understand that the office may be busy but 2 weeks for a response regarding medication? Terrible customer service, I will be finding a new family doctor.

The best clinic ever. Dr Lal is so awesome, I have seen many young doctors but generally youth not equal to knowledge, but Dr Ravinder Lal is an exception, he is smart and intelligent and also has deep empathy. Overall the front desk and all people are super awesome.

Increasingly disappointed in the service I called with ear pain and they gave me an appointment two days later without any symptoms of covid and the doctor did not want to see me face to face how to check my ear I called to make an appointment 30 minutes waiting this is not normal?

Medical staff have always been good but I have to downgrade this review due to the frustrations around this WEB ONLY approach. I had an in person appointment that had to be moved but patients can NOT do that. You have to cancel the in person appointment, made by doctors only, and book a phone appointment in its place. Time to answer phones again and treat people like humans not computers.

My doctor is great but contacting this clinic by phone is impossible, you are on hold forever. This isn't right, and especially unfair to those without access to internet. I've left a voicemail complaining about this and never heard back.

I 10/10 recommend seeking Irene Fung’s expertise, her well of knowledge and information as well as her professionalism!
She took such care administrating a test for fish anaphylactic reactions. She answered every possible question and took extra precautions to assist in going the extra mile to cover all potential other markers of allergy- seriously, I won’t go anywhere else having been assisted by Dr. Fung!

By far the worst medical clinic I have ever been to. Dr. Rajabi had asked for me to come into the clinic for my appointment, only for me to show up and be turned away. I have a cough and shortness of breath due to my asthma, which is why I was at the clinic in the first place, but Dr. Rajabi still turned me away and changed my appointment to a phone appointment. I then sat around for an hour and received no phone call from Dr. Rajabi. I called the clinic to ask why and all the said to me was that they would msg the doctor. I waited another 20 mins before Dr. Rajabi called me. I explained to her what happened when I showed up at the clinic and all she said was "oh sorry for the misunderstanding can you come back? " as if I don't have other things to do. I told her no, and we continued with a phone appointment. She told me my blood work was concerning and she wants me to do a chest x-ray and and ultrasound, but she never sent over any of the requisition forms for me to book the tests and I haven't heard from her since. The pharmacy is also just as bad. I called at 8am to get my inhalers for my asthma, but was told I needed a new prescription and the doctor didn't come in until 12pm. I didn't want to take the chance and go to work without my medication so I took the day off and waited. By 3pm I still hadn't received a call so I called back and again all they said was they would msg the doctor. I waited around another 15mins before I was called and was able to get my medication. Horrible experience. If I could I would give 0 stars.

Am a patient there used to love the care they provided my blood pressure prescription expired needed a doctor to renew it and was told it would be 3 weeks for a doctor to see me All I needed was for a doctor to renew a prescription. That is insane

Extremely impatient and apathetic towards people with a mental health issue. Takes a moment to recollect myself but by the time I am trying to address other health concerns, it's completely ignored and cut short. Experienced this multiple times, or told to go find someone else. This was from a family doctor, when you do walk in they will stop you and give you a limit of only one or two concerns going into it.

Health had declined rapidly in the last 3 years and they don't treat things until everything has gotten worse, probably to line their pockets longer.

Will keep you waiting forever to book an appointment or end up being mishandled.

Everyone was really friendly, and so on time! I checked in, and before I could take off my coat I was called into a room, and the doctor immediately saw me. I think I was in and out in 15 minutes!

Terrible is an understatement. Got an appointment after a 2 month waiting. A day before the appointment, the receptionist calls to cancel and move it by another month. No flexibility provided on day or time either.take it or leave it

A patient can die waiting to speak to the doctor and get a prescription. No care for a patient or their needs

First off I have to say my family doctor is amazing and so is the pharmacy. The two star review is for the front desk. Nobody answers the phone and now they have switched to online booking which I cant even get registered for. I understand the clinic is busy and especially now during the pandemic, however, it is not an excuse to not answer the phone or do their jobs (like booking consult appts or giving blood work reqs).

I have been a patient with Citrus Medical Centre for many years (+5) and have only positive feedback regarding their services. I have utilized their walk-in, family doctor, and specialist services throughout the years. No matter the appointment; recurring check-ups (ie.physical), requested appointments, or walk-in services, I have always found the doctors attentive (not rushing), compassionate, and proactive in finding solutions to my health concerns. Dr. Sheth has been my family doctor for many years and has always provided me with thorough, kind and empathetic care. I never feel rushed during our appointments. Dr. Sheth is very present and I always feel heard and understood. I have always had prompt, kind, and helpful communication with the administrative team. Whether it be by in-person (booking follow-ups), by phone or email, the admin team have always done their best to accommodate my schedule and are always very organized when communicating with me. The pharmacy staff are just as friendly and helpful - I've always had thorough and thoughtful explanations of any prescriptions filled, and it's very convenient to have the pharmacy within the medical centre. I will continue to be a patient for many years to come and have recommended Citrus Medical Centre to friends and family as well. Thank you!

Not a great clinic. I’ve been seeing a few physicians at Citrus Medical (some on a walk-in basis and one as my GP) since 2016. I’ve been misdiagnosed twice and most recently, my request for an appointment via email and VM both, has been ignored for over 48 hours now. I’m ailed by severe pain. I reckon it’s time to find a new clinic.

Dr Sheth and her team of doctors are such important members of our Mimico community. I have been able to have virtual and phone appointments for my family throughout the pandemic, this has been so helpful. Dr Sheth listens, cares, speaks with empathy during every meeting. I trust her with all of my family’s health and well-being.

Similar to the other 1 star reviews, I have not had the best experience here. I initially swapped doctors because I wanted a female GP as my primary doctor for annual visits/checkups. When I visited Dr. Gray she would only allow me to discuss ONE question/issue PER VISIT, not only is this unorthodox, someone recently told me it's illegal for doctors to do this? Anyway, I swapped back to my original doctor. Also, this place has no parking.

First of all, they never pick up the phone. I need to call at least 7 times with 30 min intervals in between each call to have my call recieved.

My experience with a doctor was this: I needed a doctor's note that stated basic information about me and confirmed that I had 2 negative covid tests (both test results were back in by the time of my appointment). During my appointment (not with my regular doctor because my flight left the next day so I needed this asap), the doctor said it will cost $20 and she'll email it to me asap. Its the next day and I still haven't seen any email. I am beyond furious. My plane leaves soon and I can't enter my destinations country because of them.

I see a few negative reviews here so wanted to take the time to share a positive one. I've been a patient with citrus for a few years now and have been very happy with the service that I receive. The front desk team is always very friendly, and responds quickly when I email to book an appointment. My physician, Dr. McDonough never makes me feel rushed and always takes her time to listen to any concern that I have. The few times I've met with or spoken with other physicians at the clinic my experience has been really good as well, and again I have not felt rushed. Appointments have generally always been on time. The office is clean. The pharmacy staff is friendly and helpful. Great experience overall. Just remember when reading the negative reviews that an unhappy patient is more likely to write a review then a happy patient. Thanks Citrus

Due to COVID-19 I had a phone consultation with the doctor and she was very friendly and professional. I also spoke to the receptionist in that day and she was very obliging as well. I will definitely visit this clinic in the future

I had a couple of injuries, both on my back and my wrist and reached out to the clinic for a chiropractor. I had a great experience with Corey Cipolla, who really helped me heal from both injuries. Totally recommend the clinic and Dr. Corey!

I have been to this walk in clinic 4 times. I was seen by 3 different doctors. The doctors are always in a visible rush, they look tired ans speak very fast. The doctor that just saw me most recently prescribed me a medication but FORGOT to ask me if I am pregnant or want to become pregnant. They just asked me if I have any medical condition or I take any medications. The pharmacist didn't ask me either if I am pregnant or want to become pregnant. I checked at home online and the company that produces the medication says they should ask before prescribing it. I believe this in unacceptable! I understand it all until the patients' life or the life of their babies can be at risk! My question to the clinic is, why are the doctors always in a rush and look tired? Does the clinic have enough doctors for how many patients they have per day? I am hoping that someone is going to look into this, because the people visiting are trusting the doctors and they need their help. They don't come to the clinic to become more ill than they were. Extremely disappointed, especially with my most recent visit!

Dr. Rajabalee is a highly professional and experienced health provider. As a health professional, your health and well-being is his priority. Dr. Rajabalee is very diligent and resourceful. He will go above and beyond what is expected to extend the most appropriate healthcare treatments. To all those who slandered and vilified this amazing doctor, shame on you and may you receive the dire supportive help you need. I am a patient, with several health conditions, including Bipolar, of Dr. Rajabalee and he has been the only GP to address me with respect, courtesy and understanding. He is amongst the most gracious healthcare professionals and individuals anyone can approach. Thank you, Dr Rajabalee, for all your amazing assistance, and please ignore those that claim to be "youth counselors" whilst, simultaneously, writing "councillor". I am truly perplexed at how they could even qualify as a Child and Youth Worker whilst illiterate and unable to maintain professional conduct and composure in a healthcare setting. @CreateOFRhythmworks, you are a pathetic disgrace that needs serious psychiatric INTERVENTION.

Where to begin? The staff at this doctors office is the worst I have ever dealt with, from the ladies at the front, to the medical professionals. All that they care about is how many patients they can bill within their work day. I will be searching for another doctor immediately after only 1 appointment at Citrus Medical. I DO NOT recommend.

***WARNING*** do NOT see Dr. Nadiim Rajabalee for anything mental health related.

I went in and got put on meds, then had horrible side effects. I was told to come back if this happens.

I waited for 1.5 hours to meet with a doctor and was met with a person with no human or communication skills.he was aloof and confused.offered no compassion or help or even a solution.he barely could get words out, so much so I had to ask him if he was even a doctor half way through the appointment.he offered no solutions or next steps.all that was said was he thinks I might be bi polar (i'm not I saw another doctor) and that I need a shrink.how ever no referral or anything just a blank looks.then he told me to just stop the meds.witch on second opinion was the 100% wrong advice. I had to ween off them to avoid withdrawal.

It ended with me walking out of the exam room very angry and disappointed that at my weakest, the least amount of help was given.this is the exact reason why people are scared of asking for help with mental health issues.bad doctors make stigma so much worse.

I am a councillor for youth and work in mental health.so this is going to become part of my presentation when I do key notes about how horrible some medical professionals can be.

I do recommend you call ahead if you are looking for this type of treatment and make sure to not see Dr. Nadiim Rajabalee.

I have been to this clinic twice for two different doctors. The first visit was with one of two gynaecologist, I have to say I was NOT happy at all with this doctor’s unprofessional bedside manner when I was there to discuss a matter for my 14 year old daughter.

My second visit was with the allergist also for my daughter. I will tell you that this time was EXCELLENT The receptionist Karen, goes above and beyond her responsibilities she has an extremely kind, and personal attitude, approachable, and PROFESSIONAL, you do not feel at all like a number. Karen is what customer service should be

Music is way too loud and inappropriate. This is a medical clinic, not an Abercrombie & Fitch store.
Secretaries are rude. They think they run the place.

The docs are okay. Depends who you get. The care spirit is very medically cautious, with risk averse GP’s who do the bare minimum unless you push them a bit. It’s like pulling teeth to get proper medication. We often end up at St-Joseph with our kids days after we visited Citrus, where the care is much better. Also, Citrus tends to force you to use their pharmacy and they are pretty sneaky about this.

Folks! The place is amazing. I’ve been going here for a few years. I’ve had walk ins, appointments, etc etc and the doctors, space and access to various specialists can be very hard to find all in one spot.

My wife and my daughter also go here.

I’d like to call out a few of the negative reviews that quite frankly I think are unfair. They relate primarily to parking, showing up late, and waiting to be seen.

It’s Toronto, quite frankly the parking they have is phenomenal comparatively. I get things happen (traffic), but you have to be on time, that’s life. Finally wait times, I’ve waited before (of course) but nothing like a trip to Service Ontario or the hospital. The doctors are busy. Sometimes you have to wait.

This place is great, the doctors are phenomenal and I’d 100% recommend taking the whole family here for what ales ya. Our family will be doing so for many years to come.

I have been to Citrus Clinic on 4 different occasions. Every time I have been treated with compassion and professionalism. Dr. Trinos takes the time to listen to your concerns and does his best to help you on your healing journey.it is so nice to have access to the pharmacy on site and the pharmacist is very friendly and helpful.

I normally go to the Citrus location on Lake Shore, as my family doctor is based out of there. However, I've been going to the Royal York location for brief checkups via walk in as its closer.
I've had very pleasant experiences with a variety of walk in doctors here (including Dr. Hughes & Dr. Khan. Both lovely, friendly women). I ended up having a one off negative experience due to a miscommunication on my part, and I had an issue with how the front desk staff reacted.
I ended up corresponding with the owner via email who explained a bit more of the story, and I appreciated her taking the time to at least address the concerns.
My last visit I ended up having the owner, Dr. Sheth, as my walk in doctor. Not only was she efficient, friendly, and compassionate, but she ended up recognizing my name and discussed the exchanges more. She was very sincere in saying the walk in would support me whenever I needed.

Honestly, they don't make people like this anymore. She was truly sincere in her offer, and it really speaks to the quality of how she cares about her patients.

I will start- off this review by saying that I love dr. Fung who I saw for my daughters allergy, but I am very disappointed by the way front desk staff handled the situation after we left the appointment, as I felt disrespected and belittled. Approximately 15 min.after we left Citrus medical, I got a call from the receptionist asking me if we took the ball that was given to my daughter to play in the room, as the appointment was 90minutes long. It is unbelievable to me that the person making the call did not ensure that the ball was not in the room (not necessarily on the table, as the 17 month was playing with it) before accusing me of stealing.

Highly recommend Kim O'keefe! She changed my relationship with food.and my body. I am more confident than I have ever been. My health is tremendously improved. If you are ready to change your life invest in Kim as your nutritionist!

Since moving to Toronto in 2017, I have been using this clinic as my family doctor and the service has been great. Dr. McKenzie has been great while Dr. MacDonough has been off on maternity leave. I have had a recent, serious, injury and the doctor has respected my injury and treated me with dignity, respect and real compassion. Her kindness and diligence was a great asset to my recovery.
I also had to use the Physio therapy option also available at the same clinic. Dylan was amazing and was a real benefit to my fast recovery.
The staff are great overall and everyone treats you with respect and dignity which is not as common these days with other clinics.

Excellent experience at this clinic yesterday. Literally no wait time for me, I was called into the a room before I had finished filling out my intake form, and <5 minutes later the doctor was in the room. Most efficient clinic visit I've ever had.

The secretary staff are cold. One tried to transfer my call after I waited on hold for 10 mins.and instead hung up. When I called back she had no empathy and cold transferred me while I was in mid-sentence. When I went in person, they were all so cold. No eye contact, no communication. It was like talking to robots.

If you can’t take clients in because the you have to leave at 8pm and tell me that you always tell clients to be there an hour before and the time is 7: 25 then perhaps you should lock the door at 7pm so you can finish with the patients in time for you to leave at 8pm. Not very impressed. If the door is open then you should take the person in regardless what time it is.

Only reason for 2 stars is that I have brought my daughter there in the past and the Dr was very good with her.

In response to the owner, there was nobody in the waiting room and the staff mentioned there were only 4 other patrons in the rooms. If you have 11 rooms and less than 50% are occupied, I think the staff should be more than willing to register a patient instead of showing them the door and telling me to come back in the morning. It does not seem the staff is very inclined to stay past 8pm as they were adamant they MUST be done by 8pm.

Very positive experience. Been there 3 times as of this writing (plus the initial meet-and-greet.)

My doctor, N. Rajabalee, was very friendly and respectful, and a skilled surgeon. My first major appointment with him was to get a cyst removed from my skull (a benign cosmetic aberration, although they still biopsied it). Completely painless procedure throughout, this may sound funny but I almost enjoyed it. Very well-treated by all staff.

I came at the clinic with a huge pain in my shoulder, resulting from a fall on the ice. After the ultrasound result, the family doctor (Dr Khan), recommended Andrew Archibald - physical therapist - with Citrus Sports Medicine - for physio therapy.

With unlimited dedication, professionalism, patience and well used physiotherapy techniques, within 2 months, session after session, Andrew was able to help me regain my trust, rebuild the strength and finally starting to use my arm again, without fear of pain. He also went the extra mile to explain the importance of having a correct sitting position at the desk during work hours and also showing me exercises to improve body posture.

I am really lucky and thankful to be treated by very well trained medical professionals and definitely recommend Andrew, Dr. Khan, the clinic, including the pharmacy, from the bottom of my heart".

I hate visiting this clinic. The staff are unprofessional and have messed up my appointments on several occasions. I took the day off work to see the doctor only to find out the receptionist never booked me in. The walk-in clinic is just as bad. I had to wait 30 mins in the waiting area before they moved me into the smaller room. I then had to wait another hour in that room before the doctor would even see me.
