The call receiver almost always sounds as thought they’ve just had a worst day then when a parents dies.they are never usually as helpful as they should/could be. And it’s not that difficult to put on a positive attitude/ tone for the duration of a short dispatch phone call

Service is no good Driver lied to dispatch Saying that he showed up And didn't And then when they finally showed up He almost hit a bike worth 3 grand So be careful with city wide

I told the driver I’m running inside to grab money he forced me to leave my belongings which I was hesitant about and then he drove off with all my previous belongings and stuff before I could even pay him or get my belongings now the company refused to tell me where my stuff will be dropped off I’m livid my advice take an UBER!

On hold for 25 minutes. Then hung up because I missed a appointment for my kness. Think they should change there, on hold message. To not very reliable. Voted number one in Oshawa. I don't see how. Gave it one star. Else can't post. One star to many

My elderly mother had an important medical appointment 1/2 hour away and needed to use a taxi to get there. I could not be there to take her, and I assumed the taxi service was reliable The taxi was booked a day in advance for 3: 15 pm the next day. I got a phone call from my mother at 4 pm saying the taxi never showed up and that she missed her important medical appointment.

I called City Wide taxi and they told me that the reason the cab did not show up was that their drivers are very busy and that it doesnt happen very often. I told them that it was irresponsible of them to accept a booking and not warn me that the taxi could be up to 45 minutes late. If they had warned me, I would have found another solution. They knew my mother was elderly, they knew she was travelling for a medical appointment, they had my phone number to call if these was a problem - no call, no cab. Totally irresponsible. This taxi service cannot be trusted to show up on time.

I am a long time devoted client to this company. My grandfather Lloyd Prince was one of the founding drivers of this company. I use their services at least 3 times or more a week. I also tip. I rebooked a cab with 30 minutes notice at 1230 in the morning so I didn't have to wait outside. Only to arrive at my location with no cab and lots of excuses from the dispatch. I am 100 percent unhappy with the company for this. The only reason they get 2 stars is for their service in the past. Not cool city wide not cool.

My 88 year old mother had a City Wide Taxi come to her residence to take her to a medical appointment. The driver told her that he could not help her put her walker in the vehicle leaving her to struggle with the heavy door and getting the walker into the van. Not a way to treat anyone, especially a senior!

I've tried to support local and use this service a few times now. I end up on hold for 10 minutes before I give up and order an Uber. If I ever actually get through to a live person I'll change my review

Everytime it's the end of the month people hold up all the cabs with multiple pit stops and takes over an hour or two just to get a cab. I gotta be at work on time. I don't drive buses are never on time. Il never use this cab service again.

Better than Uber. Oshawa, Whitby, Ajax.they know where they're going. Don't jack around taken approximent route.

Need better drivers had a driver yell at me cause i didnt give him a tip sorry but times are hard and they need to understand that or get a new job and was so mad i couldnt pay cash so wrong on meny levels

Wish I could give them a 0 stars because even a 1 is too good. 15 or 20min turned into more than an hour wait. I basically had to wait till a car was in the area. Need to teach their dispatcher how to do there job. Will walk before I use the company again.

Called cab at 5 o clock they said 15 maybe 20 mins at 545 called back after waiting in rain upset they canceled my order and hung up on me

After the service I got today I won’t be calling back! I called a cab the lady said ok up to half a hour ok but when I’m waiting for over half an hour I have to drop off my daughter to a sitters and make it to work and call back to cancel I can’t get a hold of anyone several times nope I’m done!

Cut across 3 lanes of the 401 then flipped me off when I honked, after the driver tried to run me and my family off the road.

I just wanna start with the fact that Iam Disgusted in the fact that Blue Line is the only Oshawa taxi service that has wheelchair accessible cabs! Let me be clear that it's not Citiwide taxis fault they don't have one because when they merged businesses the city wouldn't grant them any! It's 8: 30pm and my very sick mother in law was stranded at the hospital because Blue line didn't have any wheelchair vans out tonight! Thank God for the man at citiwide (and the other company I will leave un-named) who worked together and helped me find one in another region that was willing to help! Citiwide taxi is a caring and professional business and I would promote them to anyone who needed a regular cab ride. THANK YOU CITIWIDE TAXI!

Absolutely shocking how they answer the phone.not sure who the lady thought sue was but she was booking a cab.relax and be nice.not from this town but your Absolutely embarrassing. Wish I was recording that conversation.you are a service and should he much nicer on the phone if you want business.embarrassing and the lady answering the phone on boxing day should be ashamed and fired

I took a taxi ride and the driver was polite and had no problem looking after me as I was in a wheelchair but pivoted onto a seat in the taxi and the driver folded the wheelchair and made sure I was seated comfortably and brought me my wheelchair at my drop-off location and helped me get back onto it. Very good conversation and a real gentleman.

Very helpful the drivers come and help you with your bags and they always have a wonderful conversation a lot better than blue line

The drivers are usually really great but 2 weeks ago I get this drive (car #200) had his nose sticking out his mask. Then I noticed his phone between his legs because he keeps looking at it. The whole time this driver is eating mixed nuts. We get to the mall then his debit machine is not working. I did feel very unsafe with this driver and was afraid to say anything. I did call but was told the owner is only in on Mondays.

Excellent drivers. It would have been great if they had reached on time.

We booked an hour in advance but still they came late.

Waited 45 mins for them to arrive, nothing. Called back and put on hold for 10 mins. At least tell me the wait will be long.

Just moved out to durham and i must say for a cab company. Their pretty reliable and fast. Your never EVER waiting long and their drivers are pretty nice to as well as accommodating. So far, im pretty happy with tgeir service. Zero complaints!

First time calling them and it was breeze. Pick up was quick, and the driver was really great. Super knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely will use them again!

They don't ever use there GPS, the drivers always ask how to get to destination, and if I can use my GPS on my phone cause they don't want to get charged for data. But I must use mine to get charged. ITS THERE JOB.

It takes over an hour to do a simple pick up of a passenger. Dispatch was snooty. And they call this quality service?

Loved the old guy that asked me if he could "crank" the song in the radio. At three in the moring on my way into work. Better experience then an uber.

Since the owner of this "company" deleted our first review, most likely due to the fact that his response blamed us and was exceptionally rude, im going to repost.

Last night i had a driver from city wide purposely take up two spots, and when i (i am disabled) went to park closest to the store, i had a hard time doing so. The handicap space was taken up, and the only spot that wasnt on the other side if the lot was next to this cab. When confronting the driver, and asking if it is necessary to take uo two parking spots, he chuckled and sarcastically replied "yea it is necessary. " Then proceeded to roll up his window.
A then very abled, perfectly wlaking young girl then proceeded to walk up to the back door of the cab closest to my car, and slammed it open, hitting my car. (Keep in mind, there was nearly 3-4ft space between him and the car beside him on the passenger side, meaning she had clearly gone out of her way to do so, when there was nobody else in the cab).
When attempting to confront the driver about hitting my car, he had ignored me and drove off.

After calling this "company" twice, and emailing them, we have been told nothing would be done, we have been offered no solutions.

The lack of empathy these people have is highly inconsiderate, and unprofessional, and it is not the first time we have experienced this type of disrespect from their drivers.

We had the whole situation in video, as well as a clear picture of the drivers face, his lousy parking job, as well aa license plate #, and the "company" still refuses to do anything.

Do not waste your time with these people. This "company" is a joke and should not be allowed to operate.

Worst service i have ever received in my life. They told me 20 mins someone would be coming and it took them and hour and half to show up.they claimed to be busy.not likely.you are not picking up drunks from the bar.

I always use this one because of the pricing, the nice drivers, and the fact i can order one on the onelocal app.although one time a citywide driver almost hit me with his car and then flipped me off (even though he shouldn't have been speeding in a parking lot), but other than that i've had nothing but pleasant experiences

I am so angry. I have called city wide 2 times in my life and both times they have given me a time as to when they will be here and they dont show. This second time i am complaining because I was told 45 min, which was fine, and i waited with my 400 dollars worth of groceries again and i called to confirm 30 later (because i supposidly didnt call the time before so no cab came) and they said the same thing this time. So i have been waiting for 30 min for a cab that didnt show and my fridge and freezer stuff is once again practically thawed. I am angry and no one actually does anything about it to compensate or make the CUSTOMER who they screwed over feel any better about how poorly I was treated. In fact actually hung up because i got annoyed and asked why they couldnt be bothered to do their job. They asked me what pick up and what address too and never show!

Crazy drivers. Yell at other drivers from their vehicles. Just experienced where a gentlemen chased my car from downtown oshawa to a friends house at Park and Gibbons. I HIGHLY reccomend choosing a different conpany.
